"Yes, sir!"
Upon hearing Evan Lin's words, the man immediately jogged over to the back of the vehicle.
The driver also got out at this moment to help.
The rear of the vehicle was styled like a small container, and as soon as the door was opened, four more people appeared.
Two men and two women.
The men were clearly bodyguards, while the two women wore crisp uniforms—obviously professional bank tellers.
All six of them worked together, moving one aluminum alloy case after another out of the vehicle and placing them in front of the crowd.
Everyone's gaze was instantly drawn to the scene.
Soon after, the group brought out several bill counting machines.
Then, the two tellers began working with practiced skill.
Counting the money.
They unlocked each case, revealing stacks of hundred-yuan bills piled densely inside. When the sight appeared before everyone, the entire crowd couldn’t help but gasp in shock.
Wu Guang was stunned, his face turning pale. Even the hand holding his phone trembled several times.
Shua shua shua...
On site, only the sound of the bill counters and their rhythmic shuffling echoed in everyone’s ears.
Those flashing hundred-yuan bills, constantly passing by, packed a powerful visual punch for everyone watching.
A hundred bills per stack, with six counting machines working at once.
Julie Chu widened her eyes at the scene before her. Her gaze kept drifting to Evan Lin standing there, and she couldn’t help but whisper to Hank Chu beside her, asking about Evan’s identity.
But Hank Chu only shook his head. After briefly saying Evan was a friend, he didn’t elaborate further.
In truth, Hank himself was deeply shocked right now.
He knew Evan Lin was doing well outside, but he never expected Evan to be doing this well!
This is one hundred million!
Will Han, livestreaming to Queenie Tong and Yvette Locke, found his hand shaking as he held his phone. He stared at the stacks of cash, frozen in place.
On the other end, Queenie Tong and Yvette Locke were thoroughly entertained.
Neither of them really had a concept of money—they’d never lacked it since childhood—so they just found the spectacle amusing.
"Just wait. If one hundred million isn’t enough, I don’t mind making another call and having them bring more."
Evan Lin looked at Wu Guang standing there and smiled. "So, what’s up, you poor dog? Weren’t you barking pretty loudly just now? Why so quiet now?"
"But it’s fine. Once the hundred million is counted, you’d better kneel down and take responsibility for what you just said."
Hearing Evan’s words, Wu Guang’s face turned so dark it looked like water could drip from it.
Nearby, Captain Chen and the security guards shuddered, then quickly turned to Evan Lin with friendly smiles.
Are you kidding?
Anyone who can make a single phone call and have someone deliver one hundred million yuan isn’t someone they could afford to mess with!
Everyone who had previously supported Wu Guang was completely stunned.
Lily Yan fell silent, Gary He swallowed hard, his hands and feet turning cold.
Faced with absolute cash, all their earlier ‘dog-eyes-looking-down-on-people’ talk was now a complete joke.
"Wu Bro, call your brother, call your brother!"
At that moment, Lily Yan suddenly remembered something, looking at Wu Guang like she’d grabbed a last lifeline: "Senior Wu is here today for a speech—he should’ve just finished!"
"So what if this guy has so much money! This is North Hill Aviation University! Your brother’s a pilot at NewAir Airlines, and he can decide whether the school cooperates with the airline, affecting our job prospects!"
"Even if he has money, so what? Money isn’t everything, and it doesn’t affect us—it’s got nothing to do with us!"
Lily Yan suddenly shouted, snapping everyone out of their daze.
Wu Guang instantly understood what she meant. He looked at Evan Lin and said coldly, "So you’ve got money, huh? Fine, let’s see if your money can beat my power!"
"In front of real power, your money is just a pile of waste paper!"
He suddenly shouted, then grabbed his phone and quickly dialed a number.
"Yeah, that’s right, bro, I’m downstairs at the girls’ dorm."
"Come over, I’ve run into a bit of trouble."
"You think the principal should come too? Sure, just bring the principal with you!"
Wu Guang spoke simply, his expression once again full of excitement.
Everyone nearby snapped out of it. Especially after hearing Wu Guang’s words, their expressions as they looked at Evan Lin grew complicated.
Their eyes showed a bit of admiration—and a hard-to-describe pity.
"Wu Guang’s older brother, Wu Chen, apparently owns shares in NewAir Airlines."
"He’s also one of our school’s outstanding graduates. This year, the principal specially invited him back to give a speech!"
"Wu Chen, in a way, represents our school’s reputation. NewAir Airlines has made a huge contribution to our employment rate. This guy might have a hundred million in cash, but that’s his own money—it has nothing to do with us. Wu Chen, on the other hand, is the one who can actually affect our future!"
The surrounding students, after eyeing all that cash with envy, started to unite against Evan again.
Too much money made them jealous, which quickly turned to resentment.
Why does that guy get to have so much money?
"Captain Chen, are you really planning to risk your jobs for some random stranger?"
Wu Guang said coldly, "Just wait till my brother and the principal get here. Let’s see if you can handle the consequences!"
His voice was razor-sharp.
After speaking, Wu Guang glanced at Julie Chu. "I really didn’t expect that this poor loser would have friends who could bring out so much cash."

"But what’s the point of having so much money? It has nothing to do with you. The guy you’re with is still a poor loser! And Julie Chu, let me tell you, if you don’t obediently follow me today, I guarantee that after graduation this year, NewAir Airlines won’t recruit a single graduate from this school!"
"All your friends will lose their jobs because of your choice!"
Wu Guang grinned, his voice full of malice.
"That has nothing to do with them!" Julie Chu blurted out, anxious.
The crowd erupted in an uproar.
Everyone was suddenly fired up, loudly confronting Julie Chu: "Julie Chu! Are you really this heartless? Are you seriously going to be so selfish and let all of us end up jobless?"
"That’s not right! You can’t just think about yourself and ignore whether we live or die!" someone else shouted.
In an instant, all kinds of accusations were hurled at Julie Chu.
Julie Chu’s face kept changing, clearly shaken by the sudden barrage of abuse.
"Your jobs have nothing to do with Julie Chu—stop the moral blackmail!"
Han Chu pulled Julie Chu behind him to protect her, facing the crowd and raising his voice, trying to reason with them.
But no one wanted to listen to reason.
"NewAir Airlines used to recruit the most people from our school! Now, because of Julie Chu, we might lose our jobs—who else is to blame?"
"Yeah, if we don’t have jobs, are you going to support us?"
The shouting continued, mixed with the sound of the money counter whirring.
Wu Guang stood proudly, looking at Evan Lin with a sneer. "Got anything to say?"
"Aren’t you supposed to be rich? Hmm?"
He burst out laughing.
When the wall falls, everyone pushes.
Before Evan Lin could speak,
the crowd parted.
A group of people walked toward them.
At the front was a young man.
It was Wu Chen—the same Wu Chen Evan Lin had met earlier at Pu Hai Airport!
