Bearing and Presence

2/14/2026

The elevator doors opened.

Serena Tong stepped out from inside.

Even before she fully emerged, countless eyes had already turned toward that side, focusing their attention.

"Serena! It's been so long!"

"Wow, Serena, you look even more beautiful than before!"

"Serena, can we take a picture together when you have time? And if possible, could you sign an autograph for me?"

A crowd surged forward.

Everyone wore bright smiles as they looked at Serena, their eyes filled with excitement.

Beyond that, most were just eager to find ways to get closer to Serena Tong.

Even if it meant being totally shameless.

After all, Serena Tong is now a huge name in the industry.

Her personal influence is incredibly strong as well.

The key thing is, Serena's reputation is way more solid than most.

But Queenie Tong, standing next to Serena, and Yvette Locke, still clutching her ice cream, couldn't wait any longer.

Because Victor Wu, who was beside Yara Song, is not someone you can easily talk to.

If your flattery misses the mark, or you're not important enough, you could totally make a fool of yourself in front of Yara Song.

Yvette Locke echoed her, rocking her red dress—her slightly goofy, innocent vibe made her even more eye-catching.

But things are different with Serena Tong.

Honestly...

Serena always lets people save a bit of face, no matter what.

"Alright."

Serena nodded, not refusing anyone.

She was in a pretty good mood today, since Queenie Tong had told her Evan Lin had come to Hong Kong.

When it comes to Evan Lin, to Master Lin from Seacrest, Serena's feelings are a little complicated.

There's some admiration, but it's far more than just that.

Serena and Queenie are different—the latter doesn't hide her fondness for Evan Lin at all, while Serena is much more reserved.

In Serena's view, nobody is absolutely indispensable.

Her world is destined to be far from Master Lin from Seacrest's, so Serena thinks being friends is good enough. She never yearned for anything more.

Serena signed autographs and took pictures with the people around her.

Both male and female stars came up to ask Serena for her autograph.

Some were asking for themselves, others for their friends.

Quite a few were already Serena's fans to begin with.

Serena kept a faint smile the whole time, not coming off as cold at all.

But Queenie Tong, standing beside Serena, and Yvette Locke, still holding an ice cream, were already getting impatient.

Even the stars nearby who wanted to chat with Queenie or Yvette were completely ignored by the two of them.

Queenie Tong doesn't really care what others think.

Yvette Locke doesn't even recognize anyone else's status at all.

The two young women—one bursting with energy at a glance, the other quiet but bright-eyed—were so striking they drew countless gazes.

Frankly speaking...

Just in terms of looks and aura, Queenie Tong and Yvette Locke were even more beautiful than many of the female stars present.

"Serena Tong is here."

Kaiyuan Yu shifted his gaze away from Evan Lin.

His face lit up with excitement and nervousness, a big smile appearing all at once.

"Serena!"

Yara Song squinted and looked over that way.

She watched Serena surrounded by the crowd, taking pictures and looking so popular, and couldn't help feeling something indescribable inside.

Originally, Yara Song thought there wasn't much difference between her and Serena.

But now, just looking at how popular Serena was, it was clear they weren't even on the same level.

"Don't rush. There's a good show coming up soon."

Victor Wu glanced that way, and when he looked at Serena Tong, a hint of satisfaction flashed in his eyes.

What could be more satisfying than seeing the glamorous Serena Tong forced to bow her head in a moment?

At least for now, Victor Wu still held enough leverage to make Serena Tong yield.

"Serena's popularity really is strong."

Kai Zhou looked over that way, full of emotion.

He spoke while glancing at Yuan Liang: "Yuan Liang, look at Serena, then look at yourself."

"If I remember right, you and Serena debuted together, didn't you?"

"She's getting better and better, and you? Hmm?"

Kai Zhou's tone was full of ridicule and contempt.

"Come on, how could he ever compare to Serena Tong?"

Lily Tan sneered and looked at Mia Yu standing next to Yuan Liang: "The reason Serena keeps rising is largely thanks to her agent."

"See that girl over there?"

"That's Queenie Tong, Serena's younger sister and her new agent."

"Look how pretty Queenie Tong is—then look at this..."

"Tsk, tsk."

Lily Tan stopped mid-sentence.

She didn't say outright who she was comparing to Queenie Tong, but when she glanced at Mia Yu, it was obvious.

Mia Yu's face changed, anger flashing in her eyes, but she didn't dare speak—she just held it in.

She felt wronged.

But it was the truth.

She glanced at Queenie Tong—there was no denying that Queenie was much prettier than her.

Honestly, Queenie Tong was even prettier than Yara Song.

Losing out in looks to a girl like that, Mia Yu didn't feel too bad about it.

"Where is he? Where is he?"

Queenie Tong dragged Yvette Locke along, looking around restlessly.

She couldn't even be bothered to wait for her big sister, Serena.

"Where is he? Where is he!"

Yvette Locke echoed her, standing out in her red dress—her goofy, silly look made her even more eye-catching.

The two girls walked along, drawing plenty of attention.

Quite a few popular male stars wanted to strike up a conversation and get to know them.

But they turned them all down, one by one.

"Should I excuse myself for a bit?"

Kaiyuan Yu couldn't hold back anymore. He had planned to wait until Serena finished her business before approaching her.

But seeing that two-thirds of the people in the hall were already chatting with Serena...

Especially since there were even several famous directors among them!

That was enough to make Kaiyuan Yu restless.

He hadn't expected this.

Before he could make a move, Kaiyuan Yu's eyes suddenly lit up.

He saw Queenie Tong and the girl in red actually looking his way.

Queenie Tong paused for a moment, then quickly walked over toward them!
