Evan Lin gazed out at the endless mountain ranges, lost in thought.
"My main goal this time is to track down how Mo Yang came out of the mountain. As long as I follow those three, I should be able to find some clues."
Evan's eyes flickered. At his fingertips, tiny fire-pythons coiled and danced around his arm, their gentle flames warming the chilly air in the room.
A short while later, Evan spotted Rena Luo returning from outside the hotel. He looked down indifferently from above, his gaze utterly detached.
Rena Luo had just settled Clark and Gavin's rooms. Still deep in thought, she sensed something and looked up at the window. Seeing Evan standing there, her brows furrowed and she snorted coldly, saying nothing.
7:00 PM.
A knock sounded at the door.
Evan opened the door. Queenie Tong stood outside in black leggings and cashmere knee-high boots, topped with a pure white cotton jacket. Her outfit struck a balance between innocence and maturity, giving her a unique charm.
With a light touch of makeup, she looked even more striking.
Seeing Evan, Queenie broke into a bright smile, her eyes a little shy. "We're having dinner downstairs at the Changbai Palace. Want to join us?"
When Evan didn't answer right away, Queenie worried he'd refuse and quickly added, "We're all about the same age, and lots of people brought friends. You don't have to feel out of place."
Also, Rena asked me to apologize to you. Her two brothers aren't coming tonight, so you don't need to worry about any trouble.
Since leaving Capitalview, Queenie had been hoping to see Evan again, but he never reached out, leaving her disappointed.
Seeing Evan now, she couldn't help herself and immediately called her sister Serena.
If Serena weren't busy filming, she'd probably have flown over right away.
"Okay."
Evan thought for a moment, then nodded.
