Chapter 710: Infernal Bull

In fact, the more abundant your mana, the longer you can hold out. Theoretically, as long as the momentary force of an attack doesn't exceed the limits of the Wood Barrier and your mana is sufficient, this ultimate spell is absolute defense.

Leon managed to withstand Curio's Frost Hell, but there wasn't a trace of joy on his face—because another trump card had been forced out.

After Elsa used the Wood Barrier, she needed to rest for a while before she could cast it again.

Right now, completely suppressed by Curio and having lost this ace, things looked even grimmer...

Outside the Wood Barrier, the mad eruption of Frost Hell finally subsided. Countless black ice spikes began to dissipate. Through the thin layer of wood, Leon could see the frenzied Curio outside—apparently, his proud spell hadn't killed Leon and the others, and Curio was raging.

Then Curio raised his right claw, one finger pointing straight at Leon and his group. Endless black light began to swirl at his fingertip, slowly forming a vortex.

Abyssal runes, billowing with black smoke, appeared out of thin air and were swiftly sucked into Curio's fingertip.

A black orb, about the size of a human head, appeared at Curio's fingertip. For someone over a hundred meters tall like Curio, it was minuscule.

But as countless runes and power converged, the black orb shrank even further.

The blackness was so glaring that everyone found it almost unbearable.

"Get out of the way! Eternal Frost!"

Most of the time, Reina followed silently behind Leon like a shadow, never saying a word. But now, for the first time, she was terrified—so much so that she screamed.

As a Frost Dragon, no one knew frost magic better than her. Even the spells she couldn't cast, Reina understood perfectly. When she saw the black dot at Curio's fingertip, she could no longer stay silent.

Hearing Reina's scream, Elsa's face changed dramatically. Without hesitation, she dispelled the Wooden Sanctuary.

Leon and the others reacted instantly, each using their own methods to withstand the surrounding frost spells. They didn't care about getting hurt—escape was all that mattered.

Even Seth, as soon as the Wooden Sanctuary vanished, cast Crystal Balance to shield himself from the overwhelming frost spells and dodged to the side.

Elsa ignored everyone else, casting Flame Burst at the ground. Using the recoil, she spat blood and flew sideways.

But not everyone could react as quickly as Leon and his group. The dozen or so Dark Elves were much slower.

Two Dark Elves only managed to take a couple of steps to the side before the black orb at Curio's fingertip—now shrunk to the size of a human fingernail—finally exploded.
