Evan Yang was helping Lena King tidy up their quarters. Lena, being a girl, cared more about cleanliness. Once they finished cleaning, Lena declared, "Done!"
"Are you planning to stay here long-term? Why make it so clean?" Evan said helplessly.
"You just don't get it. My sister didn't say why we're here, but since she arranged for us to stay, it means we'll be here for quite a while. If that's the case, I'd rather keep the place tidy." Lena explained.
"I can't win an argument with you," Evan said, feeling helpless.
"Of course! I'm not as good as you at fighting, but when it comes to this sort of thing, I'm definitely not worse than you." Lena said proudly.
Just as Evan was about to retort, he sensed an approaching aura and frowned. "Here already?" he muttered.
"What do you mean, 'here already'?" Lena asked curiously, not understanding.
"Let's go outside. Someone's here," Evan said to Lena. Lena, still confused, followed Evan outside, where they saw a figure flying in the air—it was none other than Leroy Li, the one-armed man.
He looked at Evan and Lena and said, "Didn't expect to find you two here."
"Isn't this the guy who lost his hand because of my sister?" Lena frowned.
"That's right. Looks like he's here to cause trouble," Evan said.
"Cause trouble? Is he so bored or does he have a death wish?" Lena asked suspiciously.
Hearing Evan and Lena's conversation, Leroy Li's expression changed. He said, "You two, don't think you're so great. Last time, it was because of your Palace Lord that I lost my hand. Now that she's not here, it's time to settle old scores."
"Brother, what old scores?" Evan asked.
"Old scores? Of course, it's about this hand!" Leroy Li said.
"This hand? You cut it off yourself, what does it have to do with us?" Evan asked, keeping a calm expression.
"Of course it has to do with you. If you hadn't shown up, I wouldn't have lost my hand," Leroy Li said.
"That's just twisted logic," Evan said helplessly. Lena frowned and added, "If you don't want to die, just wait for my sister to deal with you again."
"Wait for your sister? She won't be back so soon. I heard you're her little sister, so I'll teach both of you a lesson now," Leroy Li snorted coldly.
"Why are there always people who think too highly of themselves?" Evan shook his head helplessly.
