You Truly Love Chloe Zhu
The Tracker Bee carried Grace and Henry Tuoba as it flew toward Eastwood Forest.
Then it landed in a sunken mountain hollow.
The two of them sneaked over and soon spotted a cave.
The cave was extremely well-hidden, surrounded by an array that kept spirit beasts away—in other words, a magical barrier guarded the entrance.
"She must be inside the cave. Too bad there's a barrier—we probably can't get in," Henry Tuoba said.
Grace thought for a moment, then asked Ray, "Ray, can you get inside and move one of those array stones?"
If he could, the barrier might develop a gap.
This was something Shannon had taught her back then.
"Of course I can, Mom! Watch me!" Ray, brimming with confidence, charged right into the barrier.
Once the barrier is activated, the array stones become charged with a tension that can't be moved by human hands.
Ray, however, could do it.
He wrapped himself around the array stone and gave it a tug to the side, opening a gap in the barrier.
The two rushed in and reached the cave entrance.
Henry Tuoba stayed outside to cover them while Grace went inside.
She never expected that she would run into Rona Zhu in this cave!
Rona Zhu was practicing a sinister technique, shrouded in purple light and surrounded by demonic flames.
She must have sensed someone entering, because she suddenly opened her eyes and saw Grace—her expression changed dramatically.
She hurled a bolt of purple light at Grace and simultaneously dashed toward the exit.
But although her cultivation technique was twisted, she hadn't trained long enough to match Grace, who was already a fifth-rank Spirit Master.
Halfway out, the Scarlet Sky Sword silently appeared at her throat.
"Wow, I really didn't expect it to be you," Grace said. "I thought someone would have silenced you by now!"
Rona Zhu stared at her. "How did you find this place?"
Eastwood Forest is huge—there's no way you just stumbled in here by accident.
"You got Tracker's Nectar on you," Henry Tuoba said, walking in from outside.
"Henry Tuoba!" Rona Zhu's eyes widened in shock. "You're actually alive! I saw you die with my own eyes! How could you still be alive?"
With Evan Xiao's power, you should've been completely destroyed—how could you possibly survive?
"Was it you, impersonating Grace to come find me?" Henry Tuoba asked.
"Wait, did you spot a flaw? So that person wasn't really you?" Rona Zhu realized.
"That's right."
"Impossible! There's no way you could have seen through the Mirror Shift Technique!"
Henry Tuoba said, "I couldn't see through your magic, that's true. But, Rona Zhu, the devil's in the details."
"Details? What details?"
"Your impression of your sister probably hasn't changed since you left, right? The Grace you transformed into had shorter hair than the real Grace does now." Henry Tuoba explained.
Rona Zhu glanced at Grace's long hair, which now reached her waist, then remembered the version she had conjured—her face filled with regret.
She'd been too arrogant.
She thought she knew Grace inside and out, so she didn't bother to check Grace's current look before transforming—she just went straight to Henry Tuoba.
Even Sophie Shang hadn't noticed anything wrong, but Henry Tuoba did...
"I saw her just last night—there's no way she would've cut her hair this morning. Besides, fresh-cut hair leaves marks, and the Grace you created didn't have any signs of a haircut."
"You really do love Grace," Rona Zhu said with a smirk. "You're even attentive to details like that."
