Boss Nether's expression changed drastically at Jiang Feng's words—this was far beyond what he had imagined. The Chaos Flame Behemoth was a fire-attribute fiend beast on the verge of being a true divine beast, and after dwelling in the Chaos World for so long, many of its traits were essentially equivalent to those of a divine beast.
"Are you certain this is all true?" Boss Nether asked incredulously.
Jiang Feng replied calmly, "Yes."
"Brother Fang, what do you think?" Boss Nether asked.
Reverend Fang Buyi sighed, "I originally thought we could take them down, but it seems there's no hope. Still, just in case, I'll wait here a while longer. My Heaven-Seeking Compass is still tracking their movements."
"Very well, I'll stay with you, Brother Fang," said Boss Nether. Jiang Feng also added, "Fine, I'll assign more men to guard this place, just in case. But all of you must be prepared—if there's any sound at all, you must retreat immediately. Otherwise, the impact could be catastrophic."
"We understand," Boss Nether said.
Jiang Feng then ordered all the weaker cultivators to withdraw and hide, leaving only the strongest to remain here. Even so, as a precaution, they all kept a safe distance from the cave entrance.
Once everything was ready, the group waited outside the cave entrance. Reverend Fang Buyi kept his eyes fixed on his Heaven-Seeking Compass, watching to see if Evan and Megan moved—or if they had perished.
Meanwhile, Evan and Megan, having entered the Forbidden Ground, had no idea what awaited them inside. The two of them continued to venture deeper into the unknown.
