Evan Chu, heart pounding with excitement, checked his internal condition. To his amazement, he found a transparent liquid flowing through his meridians—its energy was unimaginably powerful.
His dantian, once filled with Chaos Divine Power, had now transformed into this same liquid. Evan recognized it instantly—this was Chaos Liquid, far superior to his previous energy in every way.
Meanwhile, his other dantian was still packed with Stellar Power. The two types of energy coexisted peacefully, neither invading the other's territory. The only thing that frustrated Evan was not knowing if his realm had actually advanced—he’d been unconscious during the transformation and couldn’t tell for sure.
Of course, there were plenty of ways to check if his realm had improved. Stronger cultivators could sense it from his aura at a glance, or he could judge by the power of his martial techniques. But Evan was a special case; his attack power had always been monstrous, and breaking through required enormous energy. For now, he really couldn’t tell.
After calming himself, Evan tried to absorb more Chaos Qi from the Chaotic Qi Mass, but quickly realized he was already at full saturation—he couldn’t take in another drop. That left him feeling seriously annoyed.
Suddenly, he thought of Shadow. Maybe if he let Shadow absorb some of the Chaos Qi, it could help him break through even further. With that, Evan sent his divine sense into the Timewheel Bracelet.
It didn’t take long to locate Shadow, who was still in seclusion. By now, his cultivation had reached mid-stage God-King and he was showing clear signs of an imminent breakthrough.
After Evan explained the situation, Shadow got so excited he could barely contain himself. “Big Bro, there’s really Chaos Qi for me to absorb? I’ve dreamed of this a thousand times! Now I can finally get my wish—this is just incredible!”
“Just step outside and you’ll see for yourself. There’s plenty of Chaos Qi here, but don’t get too greedy—watch out you don’t burst your belly!” Evan joked.
Evan then brought Shadow out of the Timewheel Bracelet. The moment Shadow appeared in the Chaotic Qi Mass, he was so stunned he couldn’t even speak.
After a long moment, Shadow finally spoke: “Big Bro, what is this place? How can there be such terrifying Chaos Qi here? This is unbelievable!”
“I accidentally ended up in a spatial black hole, so quit with the questions and hurry up and absorb! I still need to break out of this place. Elena and Roxanne are waiting for me to rescue them, and time is seriously running out.” Evan shot Shadow a look as he spoke.
Shadow didn’t hesitate any longer. With a flash of red light, he transformed into a massive lion. Evan noticed that the single horn on Shadow’s head seemed to have grown, and now even had faint sparks of lightning flickering around it.
Evan knew that Shadow would eventually become a true Chaos Divine Beast—a terrifying existence between heaven and earth. Even the Primordial Dragon back in the day would have had to show respect to a Chaos Divine Beast.
Only one super Chaos Beast had ever appeared in all of heaven and earth, but it had fallen. As for why, no one really knew—maybe Shadow would be the one to unravel that mystery someday.
Shadow let out a thunderous roar that made Evan’s eardrums ache from a distance. He opened his huge maw and inhaled with all his might, drawing torrents of Chaos Qi into his mouth. The suction was so intense that Evan couldn’t help but marvel at Shadow’s power.
After three massive gulps, Shadow finally stopped. His enormous body swelled up round and tight—he’d reached full saturation. He then descended from the air, shifted back into human form, and walked over to Evan, even letting out a satisfied burp.
“Big Bro, I’m stuffed! Time to head back and digest slowly. Once I’ve fully absorbed all this, I’ll definitely break through several realms—soon enough, I’ll earn my place in the God Realm!” Shadow declared.
“If you can break through, that’s great news for me too, Shadow. No time to waste—get back in the Timewheel Bracelet. I’ll be cracking open this spatial black hole soon, so I’m counting on you to bring me good news.” Evan said.
“Big Bro, I’ll never forget what you’ve done for me. Honestly, I’m so full it’s uncomfortable—I have to go back now. It’s just a shame to leave so much Chaos Qi behind. That’s the tastiest stuff I’ve ever had!” Shadow said, a little reluctant.
“Don’t be greedy—just get going! I know you’ll pull it off!” Evan said, then with a thought, sent Shadow back into the Timewheel Bracelet.
Once Shadow was gone, Evan took another look at the Chaotic Qi Mass. Its energy was much thinner now, and its size had shrunk by more than half—proof of just how much Shadow had absorbed.
“Time to head out. I wonder if the Silver Dragon has left?” Evan muttered to himself.
By now, the Chaotic Qi Mass couldn’t harm Evan at all. He didn’t even need to exert himself to leave—it was as if his body had fused perfectly with the mass, and with a flash, he was out.
In the distance, he saw the Silver Dragon staring at him, eyes wide in disbelief, mouth agape—big enough to fit an egg with room to spare.
But the Silver Dragon quickly snapped out of it. With a flash, he appeared right in front of Evan, bursting with excitement. “Young Lord, you’re out! I thought I’d never see you again. I can’t believe you actually came out of the Chaotic Qi Mass unharmed—this is a miracle in the God Realm!”
“It looks like your strength and realm even broke through! How is that possible? This is just too incredible—really, it’s unbelievable!”
“Unbelievable? I broke through? Are you saying I’m at early God-Venerable now?” Evan asked, half-doubting but secretly hopeful. He’d suspected he’d advanced, but with Chaos Liquid in his body, he couldn’t tell how much his Chaos Divine Power had actually increased.

“Young Lord, you were inside for so long—what happened in there? The Chaotic Qi Mass seems much weaker now. That energy took millions of years to form. Did you really absorb it?” the Silver Dragon elder asked.
