As soon as Cecilia Gu stepped out the door, she was greeted by her daughter's expectant gaze.
"Come with me." Cecilia Gu nodded at Yina Yin, and Yina immediately followed behind her like an eager golden retriever.
"Mom, Mom, is Cherry okay?" Yina Yin asked nervously.
"Just like Ethan, overwhelmed by anger and worry." Cecilia Gu sighed. "Both of them are like this. How am I supposed to believe Cherry broke up because she fell out of love?"
Clearly, Cherry is lying!
But she refuses to say anything.
Cecilia Gu didn’t want to press further. This little girl has always been stubborn and has her own ideas.
Cecilia watched this child grow up—she’s practically half a daughter to her. Of course, she couldn’t bear to push too hard.
If she doesn’t want to talk, then let it be.
Luckily, both kids are still young. Give it a couple of years and maybe things will get better.
