In the Pearl-Mountain Star-Region, Evan Chu drifted aimlessly on Old Goldwing’s back. After half a month of exploring, he finally mapped out the power distribution and terrain here.
The Pearl-Mountain Star-Region had originally been garrisoned by the Sky Tiger Legion, which itself had conquered it from a weak dynasty long ago. Now, to Evan’s surprise, after news of the Sky Tiger Legion’s destruction spread and Frostbane Dynasty shifted focus to targeting the Monroe Legion’s star-region, a slew of factions and weaker dynasties all turned their attention to Pearl-Mountain.
Even Evan himself hadn’t anticipated this. He’d figured he’d only need to handle the three thousand remnant Sky Tiger garrison troops, so this twist was a total wildcard.
“Boss, what now? This is starting to look like a headache, huh?”
“Yeah, Big Bro, our strength is kinda weak. If only we could get a few more guys like... Chu Lintian. Boss, can’t you whip up a couple more?”
“Cut it out! Like it’s that easy. Let me have some peace and quiet so I can think of something.”
Evan calculated as he walked, already slipping into a city as he pondered.
Right now, the ones eyeing Pearl-Mountain Star-Region were the Duskmire Dynasty, Pearlstream Dynasty, and Skycrest Dynasty. All three had serious muscle—any legion they sent could easily wipe out the thirty thousand Sky Tiger remnant troops.
The soldiers from these dynasties’ legions weren’t like those sect disciples or small clans—their strength was a cut above. Even the weakest of them had at least one or two meteors refined. If I could just...
Thinking of this, Evan’s eyes lit up. “Whatever, I’ll just rob them first and worry later!”
Evan didn’t hesitate—he got right to work. Sneaking to the outskirts of Pearl-Mountain Star-Region, his first target was the Duskmire Dynasty. The dynasty was loosely managed and timid, always sending out patrol squads in fear that the other two dynasties would ally and strike first to seize Pearl-Mountain.
Duskmire’s legion was called the Ink-Blood Legion. The name sounded fierce, but they only had fifty thousand troops and were dozens of times weaker than the Blazing-Flame Legion. Evan didn’t fear them at all.
As long as he didn’t run into any Saint Venerable-level powerhouses, he could take care of these guys one by one.
He lay in wait on a road for ages before finally spotting a ten-man patrol squad.
"Go!"
Evan, Old Goldwing, and Shadow pounced together. The squad’s strongest was only a late-stage Saint, so in just two blinks, the whole squad was wiped out.
At the last moment, Evan unleashed Star-Snatching Hand and plucked ten meteors from the group. Only the squad leader’s meteor had any real power—the rest were all trash.
With one successful strike, Evan didn’t plan to stop. He was set on spreading chaos, lurking deeper inside. Against Evan, Old Goldwing, and Shadow, these late-stage Saints were nothing but cannon fodder—a one-sided slaughter.
Finally, after wiping out the ninth squad, Evan grinned. "At last, a star worth looking at! But putting a star like this on a mere early-stage Saint Lord is a total waste."
With a thought, Evan shifted into his Chaos World and summoned Lynn over with a wave.
"Come on, give your hubby a kiss! This star is your reward!"
"Hmph! No way." Lynn refused, not budging in front of all the other girls. What would people think? Evan could only sigh.
"Really don’t want it? This star is perfect for you. If you won’t take it, I’ll give it to someone else."
"Well..."
"Enough with the 'well'! Come here!" Evan moved fast, grabbing Lynn and stealing a deep kiss that nearly made her faint.
After getting his fill, Evan tossed the star over. "Cultivate well—soon, I’ll really need you girls!"
None of the girls understood what Evan meant, but from then on, he’d come back every day, each time bringing one or more stars.
Before long, every girl had her own star. Some, like Princess Serena Hua, Roxanne Lin, and Xuanyuan Ruoyan, even had three or four!
Evan’s harvest was just as rich. By the time the Ink-Blood Legion was nearly collapsing, he’d already set his sights on Pearlstream Dynasty’s Flowing-Light Legion. He even pulled Chu Lintian in for a joint assault—Saint Lord-level experts leading the charge, wiping out every squad and snatching their stars. At this point, Evan had over a thousand trash stars in his hands.
At first, the Ink-Blood Legion blamed their mounting losses on the other two dynasties. Once Evan realized this, he killed a few more isolated Ink-Blood Saints, then some Flowing-Light Saints, dumped the bodies together, and called it a day.
Besides that, Evan, Shadow, and Old Goldwing disguised themselves as Skycrest Dynasty’s Lanford Legion, went over to the other two legions, killed a few, left some survivors, and shouted a bunch before leaving.
Just like that, the show began—the three legions were all confused, and one day, war broke out!
They fought back and forth, killing each other like crazy. Evan was loving it—anyone he found alone, he’d kill without a second thought, and he didn’t let a single star slip by.
Eventually, Evan ran into the Flowing-Light Legion’s deputy Throne. He unleashed a terrifying attack with 1,300 trash meteors, blasting the guy straight into the sky.
Seizing the chance, Evan used Star-Snatching Hand again! This time, it wasn’t some trash meteor—the power of this meteor was almost on par with a Crimson Demon Star.
Not satisfied with just the big battle, Evan had Chu Lintian sneak into the Sky Tiger Legion’s garrison city, swipe a few sets of uniforms, and bring them back.
Then Evan called out his wives, concubines, and brothers—some disguised, some changed clothes. They all dressed up as Sky Tiger Legion garrison troops and dove into the slaughter.
Now, the girls cultivating in the Chaos World were as strong as Old Goldwing and Shadow, reaching late-stage Saint. Even the weakest among them had hit mid-stage Saint.
With Evan and Chu Lintian secretly protecting them, letting the girls train on the battlefield between Saints and Saint Lords was actually great practice.
This war was pure chaos—at first, nobody knew what was going on, but soon, real grudges formed. The three legions and Evan’s fake Sky Tiger troops, everyone they met, it was straight to the kill!
It was a total mess... but the biggest winner was Evan. He’d already snatched over a thousand trash stars in secret. Weak, sure, but there were tons! Chu Lintian was raking it in too—every star Evan blew up, the Star Soul ended up in his body, and he was loving it, shouting with excitement.
