Hell Hath No Fury

A woman's heart is truly the most venomous!

Simon Yu instinctively reached down to cover himself, but with Mia Qian standing right there, he was caught between wanting to hide and not daring to move. The pain made him twitch, his face turning pale.

Meanwhile, the culprit—Martin Wu—had long since vanished without a trace.

Mia Qian was just as unprepared for this scene. Seeing Simon Yu like that, she hurriedly said, "Wait here! I'll go get my father!"

With that, Mia Qian dashed off. Simon Yu stared after her, reaching out weakly, squeezing out a desperate plea through clenched teeth: "Don’t—don’t tell anyone…"

Getting kicked in the jewels by a young lady—and then having his mentor find out? Where was he supposed to hide his face?

At least with Mia Qian gone, Simon Yu could finally cover himself properly. He sat on the ground, clutching his injury, and only after a long while did the pain subside enough for him to catch his breath.

"Martin Wu, that crazy woman! How dare she—hmph, with that kind of strength, isn’t she worried she’ll cripple me?" Simon Yu sat for a while, finally managed to stand, and thought to himself, What rotten luck.

With Martin Wu’s scrawny figure, what’s so great about her chest anyway? Even if she offered it for free, he wouldn’t touch it!

And she still had the nerve to kick him—ouch, it hurt like hell! He’d better hurry back and check if he’d broken the skin…

Simon Yu sighed, limping painfully toward his own courtyard, legs spread awkwardly. Anyone who didn’t know better would think he was suffering from hemorrhoids.

Passing by the Little Plaza, Simon Yu spotted Mia Qian still slapping herself. He let out a sigh: "Women, oh women, you’re just too scary—each one scarier than the last. Best not to mess with any of them…"

Mia Qian kept punishing herself all the way until nightfall. Only when she finally fainted from exhaustion did someone carry her away.

From that day on, the Qian family was placed under house arrest in the Palace of Qin. Every piece of correspondence had to be reviewed and edited by Mia Qian before it could be sent.
