Do You Really Want to Hit Me Right Now

But at that moment, Grace sensed it.

All the spiritual energy in the surroundings surged toward Bianca Whitefan.

It was just like when she was cultivating herself.

Grace watched her curiously—looks like she really knows her stuff!

After reciting, Bianca Whitefan tossed the turtle shell onto the stone table. The oracle crescents showed: three yang, two yin.

"Three upright, two reversed," Bianca Whitefan said to Grace.

Grace scattered the coins onto the stone table. The coins clinked and rolled around, and when they finally stopped, it was... three upright, two reversed.

"Huh?" Grace looked at the coins, then at Bianca Whitefan.

It was exactly as she said.

Was it just a coincidence?

Or was someone up to something sneaky?

She shot a suspicious look at Leon Zane.

"Why are you looking at me?" Leon Zane's eyes widened.

"Was it you doing something shady?"

"I didn't do anything!" Leon Zane shouted, face flushed and neck bulging.

Grace slapped a pill down in front of him. "Eat this!"

"Soul Seal Pill? Is that really necessary?"

Once he took the Soul Seal Pill, he'd temporarily lose his spiritual power.

"Of course!"

"So petty!" Leon Zane sneered, grabbed it and tossed it into his mouth.

Grace glanced at Evan Xiao but didn’t dare make him take one too.

She just said, "General, you have to help me keep an eye on the Imperial Advisor!"

Evan Xiao nodded. "Alright."

"Let's go again!" Bianca Whitefan focused and tried once more.

This time, she looked exhausted. Her fingers trembled slightly, and a sheen of sweat appeared on her forehead.

Pretty convincing! She’s really dedicated!

Grace smoothed her hair, feeling a strange sense of unease.

This time, the oracle crescents landed oddly—four yang, and one actually stood upright, not falling over.

No idea how that smooth crescent-shaped bone managed to do that...

"Four upright, and one... standing," Bianca Whitefan said with a relieved sigh.

"Standing?" Grace looked at the coin in her hand. "How could it possibly stand up?"

"I don’t know either, but that’s what the omen shows."

Grace, half skeptical, tossed the coins onto the stone table again.

After landing, four lay flat, but one rolled away, fell to the ground, and kept rolling.

Finally, it got stuck in a crack in the dirt—standing upright.

Grace's mouth dropped open. She glanced at the other four coins on the table... all heads up!

Four coins heads up, and one standing.

It was exactly the same as Bianca Whitefan's divination result!

Could she really predict the future?

Grace looked at Bianca Whitefan again. Sweat dotted her brow, her expression tired, but suddenly, it was like she was shrouded in a halo—mysterious and majestic...

......

"All correct," Bianca Whitefan said with a smile. "Now, can you agree to my request?"

Grace blinked, looked at Evan Xiao, then at the Imperial Advisor, and after a moment said, "I only promised to 'consider' it. Now that I've considered, my answer is still no."

"What?" Leon Zane slapped the table. "We had a deal! How can you go back on your word?"

"I said I'd think about it, and I just did!"

"You—you’re just playing word games!" Leon Zane was furious.

"Language is a core subject in Blue Moon Kingdom. It really is important," Grace grinned.

Leon Zane glared at her, itching to smack her.

"Imperial Advisor, right now you really want to hit me, don’t you?" Grace grinned. "But you just took a Soul Seal Pill, so I could flatten you with a finger! Better save your energy!"
