Death God Double Sniper

12/2/2025

Helen was focused on driving at high speed. Shawn Young, sitting in the back, kept scanning the surroundings, searching for the entrance to a small valley. Suddenly, a wave of unease crept up inside him. He couldn't explain why, but the feeling grew stronger and stronger...

The feeling hit Shawn out of nowhere, making him extremely anxious and restless. He looked at the road ahead, glanced behind, but saw nothing out of place—just an eerie silence. In the dark night, it seemed their Ferrari was the only car speeding down the highway. All around was dim and shadowy; the whole scene felt unsettling and strange. Shawn sensed something was very wrong, and suddenly, he felt a breath of death—a true killing intent!

The intense killing intent made Shawn Young's heart pound violently. Instinctively, he glanced to the right. At that very moment, Jon had already locked his sniper scope onto Shawn Young's head. The corners of Jon’s mouth curled into a faint, cold smile as he whispered, “Oh! Goodbye, you poor fool! Go tell God about my sins…”

Then Jon pulled the trigger. "Bang..." A soft, crisp sound pierced the night sky as the silenced SDV rifle spat a burst of flame from its silenced barrel. A high-speed bullet spun toward Shawn Young inside the speeding red Ferrari on the highway.

At the same time, Shawn Young caught sight of a flash of light on the opposite hillside. He immediately understood what was happening. He pressed Helen down, grabbed the steering wheel, and jerked it sharply, then stomped hard on the brakes—"Screech..." The car suddenly lost control, swerving wildly on the highway, snaking forward as the tires screeched, leaving a trail of smoking skid marks on the road!

"Bang—" The sniper bullet had already entered the car. "Crash—" It shattered the side window, grazing Shawn Young’s scalp and slamming into the passenger seat. The powerful force blew the seat apart, releasing a cloud of white smoke and leaving a gaping hole the size of a bowl!

Helen reacted instantly, ducking low and shouting to Shawn Young and Minnie Wang, "Get down! Quick! There's a sniper on the hillside opposite! Don't let him see you!"

Shawn Young had already pulled Minnie Wang down to the floor of the car. It was Minnie’s first time facing such a terrifying threat of death. She was so frightened her face turned pale, tears streaming down uncontrollably, but she bit her lip and didn’t dare make a sound, afraid she might distract Shawn Young and Helen or attract the attention of the enemy sniper lurking in the darkness on the hillside.

"Miss Helen, they've got our position locked—if we show our heads, we'll get shot. Do you have any ideas?" Shawn Young was practically pressed against Helen’s ample chest, but at this moment, he had no time to appreciate her astonishing curves and quickly asked her.

"Uh—Theoretically, if we can get into the sniper’s blind spot, we have a chance to escape their aim! About four meters ahead, there's a bend—if we can get there, we'll be safe for now. But right now, we can't even lift our heads, so there's no way to drive into it!" Helen said urgently.

"Oh—I’ll drive! I’ve got a way—" Shawn said, thinking fast to the two women. He activated his internal Heavenly Gang Tiger-Dragon True Qi, spread his right hand, and quickly cast the 'Circle Light Divine Art,' searching toward the hillside. In a flash of white light, the forms of the two snipers appeared clearly on his palm. One sniper, holding an SDV rifle, was swiftly reloading.

Shawn immediately sat up, seized the moment, grabbed the steering wheel with both hands, and stomped the accelerator. The red Ferrari roared forward, racing toward the bend about four meters ahead. If they could make it, they’d temporarily escape the two deadly snipers.

"Uh—Trying to run? Not so easy—" Jon wasn’t about to let his prey escape. As soon as he finished reloading, he aimed at Shawn’s head in the Ferrari and pulled the trigger—"Bang—" Another sniper bullet spun at supersonic speed toward its target. But to Jon’s frustration, Shawn seemed to sense his move and ducked his head at the exact moment the shot rang out. The bullet grazed Shawn’s scalp, blasting a huge hole through the left rearview mirror and the hood!

"Huh—What? That works too?" Jon felt a wave of resentment surge to his head. He couldn't believe Shawn had dodged two of his shots! For Jon, who prided himself on his marksmanship, it was like being slapped twice in the face. He rubbed his temples, took a deep breath to steady himself, loaded another round, focused intensely, held his breath, and locked the crosshairs on Shawn’s temple. This time, he was all business. He pulled the trigger—"Bang!" A crisp gunshot split the night.

An unbelievable scene happened again. As soon as Jon fired, Shawn ducked his head, and the bullet that should have pierced his temple instead just grazed his scalp, smashing the top of the passenger seat into pieces with its tremendous force.

"Ah—!" Minnie Wang couldn’t help but scream, thinking Shawn had been hit when the bullet blasted apart the passenger seat top.

"Miss Helen, keep Minnie safe! Don’t lift your heads, don’t be afraid, hold tight—we’re almost out!" Shawn kept calm, speaking without looking back. He floored the accelerator, hands working the wheel furiously as the Ferrari roared and snaked forward, weaving like a drunken serpent toward the bend.

Jon felt deeply humiliated on the hillside. He was the famous 'Night Reaper' in the assassin world, once the ace sniper of Israel's 'Wild Boy' special forces. He’d served Mossad, carried out countless secret assassinations of Arab leaders, and was a master of nocturnal sniping. After retiring, unable to fit into normal life, he was recruited by a mysterious assassin organization with huge commissions—finally living the killer’s life he was made for.

Jon was always proud and confident. In all his years, whether in special forces missions or working for the assassin organization, he had never failed a single job. Missing three shots at one target—unheard of!

"Shirt! This is freaking insane!" Jon cursed, losing his confidence. He switched his SDV sniper rifle to automatic mode and started spraying bullets like a machine gun—bang bang... bang!

The SDV sniper rifle spat out a stream of fire, and just then, Shawn Young jerked the steering wheel hard to the right. The red Ferrari skidded sideways, and a hail of armor-piercing rounds tore into the car's side door, punching a line of smoking bullet holes. The left window shattered, raining glass all over the pavement.

Shawn leaned his body, hands working the wheel nonstop, foot slamming the gas. At the bend ahead, he pulled off a series of clumsy drifts, but that four-meter stretch wasn't far. After dodging and weaving, the Ferrari finally made it around the bend. Bullets from the SDV rifle struck the rear, sending sparks flying, but once they hit the corner, the snipers were no longer a threat.

"Shirt! Shirt! Damn it! How is this even possible?!" Jon was so furious he nearly hurled his SDV sniper rifle down the slope. Peter, beside him, said, "Jon, you're off your game tonight. We need to chase them down! If someone else snags this job, we lose out on millions!"

"Shirt! Fine, let's go after them right now! That guy is dying by my hand!" Jon snarled, swallowing his frustration. He broke down his SDV sniper rifle, packed it into a black case, and with Peter, rushed down the slope to the edge of the woods. They jumped into a jeep and sped off, chasing after the Ferrari on the highway.
