Although Jiro Hirayama stands at 1.8 meters tall, he's honestly not a physically strong man.
Especially since Amy was an outer circle agent at the base.
Even though she was just in the outer circle, Amy's physical strength far surpassed that of ordinary men.
Even a burly guy might not be a match for Amy.
Not to mention Jiro Hirayama, who is obsessed with experiments and never works out.
So, caught off guard, Jiro Hirayama was tackled to the ground by Amy.
Whether by coincidence or not, as Jiro fell, he swung his arm and accidentally hit the switch on the wall. With a snap, the lights in the room flicked on.
Suddenly, the whole room was lit up, and everything was clearly visible.
At that moment, the door to the next room suddenly opened. Rona Muir stepped out, dripping wet, as Lucas Lin's desperate voice called after her, "Rona!"
Ignoring the pleas behind her, Rona Muir stumbled forward. As she passed Jiro Hirayama's room, she instinctively glanced inside.
Jiro Hirayama looked up, and his gaze met Rona Muir's.
She had seen for herself just how frightening Jiro Hirayama could be.
Rona Muir looked at Lucas Lin, feeling a pang of guilt. "Sorry, about earlier... I shouldn't have done that without asking you."
Lucas Lin's face grew even more forlorn.
Seeing him like this only made Rona Muir feel worse.
This time, Jiro Hirayama was absolutely seething!
Wh-what just happened?
Isn't he dreaming?
His goddess actually kissed him first?!
He tried to push Amy away, but Amy only clung to him harder.
Instead of pushing her off, the recoil made him kiss Amy again!
Catching sight of this out of the corner of her eye, Rona Muir was furious!
Well, Jiro Hirayama, aren't you something!
Taking advantage of my absence to hook up with a young girl!
Do you think just because I'm four years older than you and have had a child, I'm old and washed up?
Fine, fine, fine.
If you dare to find someone, so can I!
Rona Muir cupped Lucas Lin's face in her hands and bit down hard, venting her anger at Jiro Hirayama through Lucas!
Lucas Lin could sense something was off.
He glanced up slightly and saw what was happening in the room.
Seeing the couple tangled up on the floor, Lucas Lin seemed to get the picture.
She was using him, just to piss off that guy inside, right?
Still, even if he was being used, he didn't mind one bit.
Lucas Lin wrapped his arms around Rona Muir and kissed her back.
This time, Jiro Hirayama was truly furious!
Somehow, he found the strength to shove Amy away, then stumbled outside: "Nana, let me explain!"
Rona Muir shoved Lucas Lin aside, then turned to Jiro Hirayama, fixing her hair and clothes with a sultry air. "Explain? I don't think that's necessary, right? I mean, you're the great Mr. Hirayama—distinguished, privileged, you can have any woman you want. Why waste your time and energy on an old woman like me? I used to think you just weren't romantic, so I made peace with it all these years. Turns out, it's not that you don't understand romance, you just don't want to waste it on me, right? Fine, since you've found someone new, let me congratulate you in advance—may you have a long and happy life together!"
With that, Rona Muir turned to leave.
She took a step, then turned back with a cold sneer: "Just remember, divorce me first! You go your way, I'll go mine! From today on, I admit I was blind! But from this moment forward, there's nothing between us! Lucas, let's go!"
Lucas Lin paused for a moment, glanced back at Jiro Hirayama, then quickly caught up with Rona Muir.
Jiro Hirayama was so angry he was shaking all over. Who was that guy?
Why was he by Rona Muir's side?
And why were they both soaking wet?
What exactly was their relationship?
Seeing Jiro Hirayama and Rona Muir split up after arguing, Amy was secretly thrilled, but her face was full of worry. "Mr. Hirayama, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to cause any misunderstanding between you and your wife. I..."
Smack! A harsh, precise slap landed on Amy's face.
Even though Amy was an Outer Circle agent, she couldn't dodge Jiro Hirayama's slap.
Amy stared at Jiro Hirayama in disbelief. "You..."
"If it weren't for you, why would Nana misunderstand me?" Jiro Hirayama's face was icy cold as he said, "I may not be as strong as you, but if I want to kill someone, I don't need brute force. Amy, don't provoke me."
Amy didn't dare say another word.
She had witnessed firsthand just how terrifying Jiro Hirayama could be.
With a random concoction, he could turn an elephant into a pile of bones in seconds!
What a devil!
Still, she needed to use Jiro Hirayama right now, so she could swallow any humiliation.
She didn't want to be just an Outer Circle member for life.
If she couldn't get into the Inner Circle soon, Mr. Hans would eventually toss her aside.
The fate of being abandoned was always the same: death!
Amy quickly grabbed Jiro Hirayama's hand and whispered, "I'm sorry, Mr. Hirayama, I didn't mean it. I promise, I'll never make this mistake again! I just couldn't help myself! I'll go explain everything to Miss Rona Muir right now—it was all my fault. Please, give me a chance to make it up to you!"

Jiro Hirayama didn't answer, but his expression and eyes said it all.
Amy, clutching her cheek, went to find Rona Muir.
Unfortunately, she didn't have clearance for this floor, and Rona Muir wouldn't let her in anyway.
Amy returned, defeated.
Seeing this, Jiro Hirayama shot Amy a hateful glare and turned back to his own room.
Watching Jiro Hirayama's retreating figure, Amy lowered her hand and muttered to herself, "I won't give up. I'll use whatever means I have to survive."
After saying this, Amy's mind wandered, recalling the feeling of her recent contact with Jiro Hirayama. Honestly, it wasn't bad at all.
Amy decided to stick it out to the end.
She would never give up easily!
Lucas Lin was also choosing to persist, just like Amy.
By now, Lucas Lin had been led by Rona Muir to her own floor and room.
Lucas Lin used Rona Muir's bathroom, put on a hotel bathrobe, and looked at her uneasily. "Rona..."
Rona Muir looked at the innocent Lucas Lin with a headache. "Sorry, about earlier... I did that without asking you."
Lucas Lin's expression grew even more aggrieved.
Seeing this, Rona Muir felt even more guilty.
"I'm really sorry," Rona Muir said. "That man is my husband. But starting today, probably not anymore."
Rona Muir's words were mostly out of spite.
Lucas Lin couldn't possibly miss that.
But he deliberately pretended not to notice, moving closer to Rona Muir and gently saying, "It's fine. I'm happy just to be your friend. Whatever you need, I'll help you. Even if you need me to act with you, I'm up for it—you know I'm an actor, so that's what I do best. If you really want to leave him, I'll play along with whatever you need."
Rona Muir hesitated.
She'd only said she wanted a divorce to Jiro Hirayama out of anger.
But actually going through with it—she couldn't bear it.
Still, what she'd just witnessed had really shaken her.
If she hadn't accidentally left the room and interrupted Jiro Hirayama and that woman, would he have spent the night in that woman's room?
Just thinking about it made Rona Muir feel awful.
She'd never imagined Jiro Hirayama would one day betray her.
She always thought she'd spend her whole life with Jiro Hirayama, that nothing could separate them.
Was she just too confident?
Did she trust Jiro Hirayama too much?
Rona Muir just felt terrible, her mind foggy and uncomfortable.
Lucas Lin could see from Rona Muir's expression just how much she was struggling.
If he could, he really wanted to take Jiro Hirayama's place and be the one by Rona Muir's side.
He'd work hard, become a movie star, a TV king, and grow into someone who could stand shoulder to shoulder with Rona Muir.
He admitted, Rona Muir was exactly his type.
A woman like her was fatally attractive to him.
Rona Muir wasn't much older than him—they were a perfect match!
These thoughts rushed through Lucas Lin's mind, but he kept a calm face and said, "Rona, he's gone too far. You're so wonderful, and he still cheated..."
"Stop," Rona Muir interrupted him. "Sorry, I'm tired. You should go rest."
"I... I'm worried about you," Lucas Lin said softly. "I'll sleep on the floor, I won't disturb you. If you need anything, just call me. I'm a light sleeper, I'll hear you."
Rona Muir was too upset to care where Lucas Lin slept, so she just got up and went to her room.
Lucas Lin grabbed a fresh quilt from the closet, laid it on the floor, and curled up right by the door to sleep.
The next morning, Rona Muir got up to use the bathroom and discovered Lucas Lin curled up by the door.
He was tall and skinny.
So one quilt couldn't really cover him.
Curled up like that, his injured ankle was exposed—already red and swollen. With his pale face, he looked heartbreakingly fragile.
Rona Muir suddenly remembered everything that happened last night, and what Lucas Lin had said.
Her cold heart was instantly warmed.
