The three of them unleashed waves of youthful passion in the flower garden behind Golden Mountain Casino, going at it until the sun finally set. Only then did Shawn Young unload his full arsenal into Rainie, then collapsed on top of her, kissed her blushing cheeks, and let out a long, satisfied sigh.
After a long while, the four of them returned to their private room and shared some food together. Having gone through such an intimate experience, all awkwardness was gone, replaced by laughter and chatter. Shawn looked at the three beauties he'd just showered with affection—Rainie Bai's delicate features and captivating aura, Rainie's pure charm, Luna's sweet and adorable demeanor, each one dazzling in her own way. He sprawled out on Rainie Bai's lap, letting her massage his shoulders, while Luna and Rainie fed him grapes. Lost in the gentle care of these lovely women, he almost forgot about time and his actual responsibilities.
Just then, Shawn Young's phone started ringing from inside his jacket. Enjoying top-tier service in Rainie Bai's arms, Shawn was startled and quickly got up. He knew that anyone calling him at this hour must have something urgent. After all, this phone—a gift from Gong Jiaojiao—was the 'iCrazy 4s', and since he and Cheng Yuhan had decided to use it for contacting people back home, very few people knew the number. Even Rainie Bai, Rainie, and Luna didn't know it yet.
Shawn pulled out his phone without even checking the caller, pressed the answer button, and said, 'Hello—who's this?'
'Um, hi! Is this Shawn Young?' came a sweet female voice from the other end.
'Uh—yeah, I’m Shawn Young. May I ask, who are you?' Shawn was taken aback. He didn’t recognize the voice, but it sounded vaguely familiar.
'Hehe—I'm Sherry Shawn! Don't tell me you've got so many beautiful women in your life that you're too busy dating and making out to remember little old me?' On the other end, Sherry Shawn let out a silvery, tinkling laugh.
'Oh, oh, I haven’t forgotten! How could I possibly forget a gorgeous woman like you? But I’m just really curious—how did you get my phone number?' Shawn felt a little guilty at Sherry’s teasing, but couldn’t help asking.
'Haha, did you forget what I do for a living? Tracking down your phone number was a piece of cake!' Sherry Shawn replied with confidence.
'Oh, that’s true! Haha—so, Sherry, gorgeous lady, are you hoping to go out with me too?' After all his recent experiences, Shawn Young was way bolder than before. Just picturing Sherry Shawn’s pretty face and knockout figure—especially her unique vibe—had him daydreaming again.
'Oh please, Shawn the Casanova, you’ve got so many beauties around you, any one of them could give me a run for my money! I wouldn’t dare mess with you—if they got jealous, I’d be torn to shreds! Haha—' Sherry giggled.
'No way—don’t worry, I’m actually a pretty loyal guy. You should really get to know me better!' Shawn said this with a straight face, not even blushing. The three women beside him immediately shot him odd looks—especially Rainie Bai, who rolled her eyes and let out a cute snort, clearly calling him out for lying.
'Haha—we’ll see, Mr. Casanova! But I’m calling you for something important, not to flirt!' Sherry Shawn laughed, her tone suddenly much more serious.
'Oh! What’s so urgent?' Shawn asked quickly.
'Did you forget that Fiona and Colonel Hank Han are still on a mission in Myanmar?' Sherry reminded him.
'Of course I remember. I’m just handling some personal business here in Mai Zayan and waiting for news from Fiona and the team. What’s up?' Shawn replied quickly.
'Uh—I know you’re busy dealing with Nick Carter and Goldtooth! How’s it going?' Sherry asked.
'Wait, you know about that too?! Impressive. Well, to be honest, I’ve already got those two in my hands!' Shawn said, sounding a bit smug.
'Oh! That’s great! With Nick Carter’s crew tied up, things are easier for us. His guys were causing real trouble for our team, but honestly, the biggest problem isn’t Nick Carter—it’s Jade Swann and her group. They’re trapped deep in the mountains of northern Myanmar, and we haven’t heard from them in ages. Nobody knows if they’re even alive!' Sherry said.
'Oh? Jade Swann is pretty capable—how did she end up trapped? And Fiona and Colonel Hank Han went to back her up, so does Nick Carter's crew really have what it takes to pin them down?' Shawn asked curiously.
'That’s exactly the problem—Fiona and Colonel Hank Han sent their last signal from somewhere near Nick Carter’s base in northern Myanmar a couple hours ago, and then nothing. I’ve tried every trick I know, but I can’t reach them! I’m sure they’ve run into major trouble, which is why I’m calling you for help,' Sherry said.
'Major trouble? Is it Nick Carter’s armed drug runners, or his hired mercenaries? Are they packing serious firepower?' Shawn asked quickly.
'Nope. According to intel from our military reconnaissance satellites, there’s no heavy fighting in that area. Instead, a thick cloud of smoke is covering the region—even the satellites can’t see what’s going on. Based on my experience, with you Special Abilities Taskforce types active in that zone, it’s gotta be an enemy group. We don’t know how many, but I’m sure they know the terrain better than our people—and they’re seriously powerful!' Sherry said, sounding grave.
'Oh! They’ve got powerful abilities? That’s a real headache!' Shawn knew that in the mountains of Myanmar, running into locals with supernatural powers was a nightmare.
'Exactly! There’s nothing we can do—the Special Abilities Taskforce’s top field agents can’t get there fast enough, and help from far away won’t solve anything! Things change fast out here; not only will Jade Swann and her team miss their mission, but Fiona and Colonel Hank Han could be in serious trouble too! Since you’re already in Myanmar, I’m counting on you to handle this tough rescue mission!' Sherry said.
'Got it! I’ll get ready to move right away!' Shawn nodded, knowing this was urgent and mentally preparing himself.
'Good! Shawn the Casanova, you may be a bit of a flirt, but you’re trustworthy! I know you’ll get the job done. If you need anything, I’ll have our people back home set you up,' Sherry encouraged him.
'No need for backup right now! I’ve got my own team here!' Shawn replied quickly.
'Alright! I wish you success with the mission!' Sherry said.
'Haha—Sherry, gorgeous, if I finish this mission, do I get a special reward from you?—Hello? Hello? Uh—she hung up on me. So sly!' Shawn said awkwardly. He’d wanted to use the chance to tease Sherry and maybe ask her out for dinner, but she’d already hung up.
