Chapter 611: Natural Plane

"My god, it's a Subrealm..." At the same time, Cyrus Watson's face changed drastically when he saw the spatial rift. As a Level Eight Title Archmage, he had the discernment to recognize a path leading to a Subrealm.

This was genuinely terrifying...

Because this Subrealm was very likely a naturally occurring one...

One must understand just how terrifying a naturally occurring plane truly is—a near-infinite reservoir of magic, power akin to immortality, the strength of an entire world...

"Is something the matter, Cyrus?" Leon was directing Hubert and Reina to push the giant bowl into the demi-plane when he noticed Cyrus Watson hesitating, and couldn't help but ask.

"Archmage Leon... Forgive my boldness, but is this the legendary Natural Semi-Plane?" Cyrus Watson swallowed hard.

"That's right..."

...And with that, the last shred of hope was crushed. Cyrus Watson was so frustrated he almost cursed aloud. Damn it, is there no justice left in this world?

Cyrus Watson still remembered the legends of the Sky Rank powerhouse, the Great Astromancer Agalon.

If memory serves, Agalon was just an ordinary Level Five Mage at thirty. But by forty, he'd already reached Level Nine Grand Mage, became an Archmage at forty-three, earned the title of Title Archmage at fifty, and by seventy, he had finally stepped into the Sky Rank...

And all of that? It was because, at thirty-nine, Agalon stumbled upon a naturally occurring Subrealm.

No, it was even crazier than that—right after reaching Sky Rank, Agalon threw down the gauntlet to another mage of the same rank, and their battle rocked the whole Northend world.

That fight lasted three days and nights. Even though the other Sky Rank mage had a complete Subrealm, he still lost to Agalon and his Natural Plane.

Only then did people realize just how terrifying a naturally occurring Subrealm could be. With nearly limitless magical reserves and power that felt immortal, it was enough to make anyone despair—to the point that resistance never even crossed their minds.

Just thinking about it made Cyrus Watson look at Leon with pure terror in his eyes.

It was honestly terrifying...

He knew exactly how monstrous a mage with a Natural Semi-Plane could become. If Leon's Natural Semi-Plane ever grew into a complete plane, he'd be strong enough to stand shoulder to shoulder with the Great Astromancer Agalon.

At that point, even a Level Nine Title Archmage would be nothing but a footnote in his story.

For a moment, Cyrus Watson was absolutely overwhelmed by terror.
