Ryan Ling’s Mangled Body

1/5/2026

"What's happening again? Hurry up and get a doctor!"

"Those useless quacks are no help—every time they treat the chieftain, her condition just gets worse! We'd be better off not treating her at all!"

"How can you just not treat her? We have to get a doctor, fast!"

......

Just as Ryan Ling rolled up to the gates of this stone-age tribe, he got smacked right into the middle of a disaster. The women escorting him totally panicked, ditched their 'slave boy' like he was yesterday's trash, and stampeded straight into the cave.

Ryan Ling didn't dare twitch—he was a Heavenly Immortal now, which in the Immortal World is basically the same as being an ant: stomped flat any time, anywhere. So for now, his only move was to play dead, keep his eyes peeled, and pray nothing stepped on him!

But with this whole disaster popping off, Ryan suddenly found himself off the hook. The women around him were running around like headless chickens, and inside the cave, someone was howling like they were getting murdered—yeah, the chieftain's illness was obviously no joke.

A few minutes later, an old woman inside suddenly shouted, "Has the doctor come yet? The chieftain's sickness is really bad this time—her chest has swollen to twice its normal size! If no one comes soon, it's going to explode..."

When Ryan Ling heard that, he nearly spat blood. Seriously? Chest-exploding disease? Who knew freaky stuff like this actually happened? He was totally speechless.

Ryan Ling zipped his lips—no way was he getting dragged into this trainwreck. But just then, a woman's voice from outside sounded like a fire drill: things were getting spicy.

"None of the doctors nearby are around—we can't find anyone!"

"What? Then what are we supposed to do?" The other old women started to panic, and just then a middle-aged woman suddenly spoke up.

"Something's off about this—the chieftain's illness came out of nowhere, and it's hitting her way too hard. There has to be a reason! Could it be that someone unclean has entered our cave?" As soon as the middle-aged woman finished talking, her eyes locked onto Ryan Ling. Instantly, all the other women glared at him too—their looks were like knives stabbing into him.

Ryan Ling was speechless—seriously, blaming someone else for the chieftain getting sick? What a load of nonsense.

But right after she said that, the other women started chiming in, all agreeing with the middle-aged woman's theory. That same woman immediately shouted again.

"You there! Someone off this guy right now—bleed him dry and offer his blood to the heavens! That'll definitely save the chieftain!"

The moment the middle-aged woman finished, a squad of women swarmed Ryan Ling, murder in their eyes. They were about to jump him, no hesitation.

Ryan Ling was just dumbfounded. Even in the Demonic World, nobody ever tried to skin him alive! Now in the Immortal World, these ladies wanted him filleted on the spot. What kind of brain-dead logic was this? Lucky for him, Ryan wasn't about to roll over and die—he threw up his hands and blurted, "Ladies, chill! Hear me out for two seconds, okay?"

The women instinctively stopped, but their eyes flicked to the middle-aged woman, who looked at Ryan Ling like he was her mortal enemy and immediately yelled, "Stop wasting time—just kill him!"

"What the hell?" Ryan Ling almost jumped out of his skin and yelled, "Listen up, ladies—go ahead and kill me, but your chieftain's toast! If you let me try, I might actually save her, because I'm a doctor too!"

With death staring him in the face, Ryan Ling couldn't care less about anything else—step one: don't die!

"You're a doctor too?" The middle-aged woman snapped to attention when she heard Ryan Ling say that, suddenly realizing he might be useful.

"That's right, I'm a doctor—and I specialize in chest pain." Ryan Ling wasn't about to argue; he just needed to get through this alive.

"High Priestess, since he admits he's a doctor, let's give him a shot—let him treat the chieftain. If he's lying, we'll tear him apart!" another old woman said immediately.

"Tearing him apart is too easy—if he lies, we'll slice his skin off piece by piece and feed it to the dogs!" the middle-aged woman growled.

Ryan Ling shuddered. Damn, this woman was ruthless—he'd have to get back at her somehow, or he'd never let it go.

"Move it! Come with us—and if you're lying, you know what happens." A group of old women hustled Ryan Ling inside. From the outside, the cave looked small, but inside it was huge—almost like a little village, with everything you could imagine. In the center was a building that looked like a temple, and the chieftain was probably inside. Ryan Ling could clearly hear her groaning.

Honestly, Ryan Ling had no idea how to treat an illness—he was totally clueless. The chieftain had chest pain, and Ryan Ling wasn't sure he could cure it at all. After barely surviving his ascension, all his accumulated power had basically gone up in smoke; the only thing left was Primeval Heavenwood.

"Primeval Heavenwood?" Suddenly, Ryan Ling's eyes lit up—maybe, in a crisis like this, Primeval Heavenwood could actually help. After all, it could absorb all kinds of energy, and now that he was in the Immortal World, its power should be even greater. Maybe it could do the trick.

That was Ryan Ling's plan—but whether it would actually work, he'd just have to wait and see!

Soon, with the women dragging him along, Ryan Ling got hustled into the temple-looking building. The outside was basic, but inside it was wild—like a cave village with everything crammed in, and a temple smack in the center. The biggest room was mobbed with anxious women, faces twisted with worry.

"Doctor's here—make a hole!" the middle-aged woman barked. Instantly, the crowd split like someone had dropped a bomb.

Then she shoved Ryan Ling hard, launching him into the bedroom. She snapped, "Kid, you better not screw this up. There are a ton of eyes on you—if you blow it, you know what's coming!"

"Got it!" Ryan Ling nodded quickly. When he looked up, he saw a stunning woman lying on an enormous bed. She was beautiful—probably in her thirties—but that wasn't the point. What stood out was her... assets, way bigger than any woman he'd ever seen.

Right now, the chieftain was groaning nonstop—she was clearly in a lot of pain.

This was the first time Ryan Ling had faced something like this—he had no idea what to do. But with all those angry eyes glaring at him, it was obvious he didn't have much time. If he tried to stall, things would only get worse.

So Ryan Ling figured he'd just try whatever he could—no holding back. Without hesitating, he used his mind to slowly release the roots of Primeval Heavenwood, and in an instant, those roots shot toward the female chieftain!

Right then, Ryan Ling was praying to every god he could think of—if this didn't work, he'd go down in history as the first guy to ascend to the Immortal World and get killed within a day. Talk about bad luck!

The roots slowly crept forward, then slipped right under the female chieftain's clothes. Suddenly, she let out a piercing scream and nearly shot up from the bed—the pain was just too much. Then she collapsed, completely passed out.

"How dare you torture the female chieftain like that? Are you trying to die? Someone kill him, now!" The middle-aged woman didn't hesitate for a second—she immediately ordered Ryan Ling's execution!
