The crowd of hired thugs didn’t take Ian Song’s words seriously at all. Instead, they all started jeering.
"Kid, I want to see how you’re going to offend us!"
"You’re young, but you sure talk big. Too bad you ran into us!"
"If you kneel down and apologize now, it’s not too late. Maybe if Grandpa’s in a good mood, he’ll teach you how to behave!"
……
"Shut up, all of you!"
With a roar, Ian Song shot forward like a leopard.
Bang! Bang!
The two thugs standing directly in front of Ian only saw a blur, and the next thing they knew, it felt like they’d been launched out of a roller coaster.
After sending the two flying, Ian became a streak of shadow, dodged Howard Hayes, and dashed into the lobby before disappearing into the stairwell.
For a moment, Howard Hayes was stunned. But then he flew into a rage—someone had actually barged into the lodging area right under his nose. His reputation was ruined.
"After him!"
Howard Hayes gritted his teeth and dashed into the lobby, chasing after Ian Song.
Zoey Su, watching from the side, was thrilled. She’d heard at school that Ian Song was a serious fighter, but this was way beyond the rumors. Before she could even see what happened, two grown men had flown through the air. Then, in a blur, Ian vanished—his speed would leave even the world’s fastest sprinter in the dust.
Too exciting, right?
So, after hesitating just a moment, she followed the crowd of thugs and ran into the lobby.
Room 303.
Deputy Director Xing stared at Shelly Song lying on the bed in nothing but her underwear, his hands trembling with excitement. Just then—
Boom!
With a deafening crash, the wooden door shattered, splinters flying everywhere. Then came a series of loud, chaotic impacts from inside the room.
Deputy Director Xing’s hands trembled violently. Instinctively, he turned to look—only to see a blurry figure hurtling toward him. Suddenly, his neck was gripped by a hand like an iron clamp.
"You filthy old bastard, you’re begging for death!"
A voice dripping with murderous intent rang in Old Xing’s ear, nearly scaring him out of his wits. He instinctively cried, "No… don’t!"
Bang!
Ian Song swung Deputy Director Xing into the air and slammed him down hard. The violent collision knocked Xing out cold, and the whole room shook from the force—proof of just how much power Ian used.
Glancing at Shelly Song lying unconscious on the bed in just her underwear, Ian let out a sigh of relief. He’d arrived just in time—she hadn’t been violated yet. Otherwise, he’d never be able to face his uncle or himself.
Suddenly, footsteps sounded outside the room. Ian quickly grabbed the bedsheet and wrapped Shelly up.
The next moment, Howard Hayes burst in.
He glanced at the unconscious Deputy Director Xing, then looked coldly at Ian Song. "Kid, you broke into Redleaf Resort and knocked out one of our guests. You’re dead meat!"
Right now, Ian was boiling with rage, looking for somewhere to vent it. Hearing Howard Hayes’s threat, he replied coldly, "Then come and try me!" As he spoke, he stomped on Deputy Director Xing’s forearm. With a sickening crack, Xing’s arm bone snapped under Ian’s foot.
Seeing this, Howard Hayes naturally assumed Ian Song was provoking him. His eyes flashed with murderous intent. "You want to die!"
As soon as he finished, Howard shot forward like lightning and slapped at Ian’s chest.
"Get lost!"
Before breaking into the Innate realm, Ian might’ve needed a few moves to handle a late-stage Postnatal fighter. But now…
The word "Get lost" was still echoing in the room when Ian’s palm landed squarely on Howard’s chest.
Bang!
Howard Hayes shot out like a broken kite, slamming into the corridor wall.
A moment later, Howard struggled to his feet in the hallway, glaring at Ian Song inside the room. But he didn’t dare step in again. Just one move—one move and he’d been defeated by Ian. Howard was a late-stage Postnatal martial artist, confident he could hold his own against even peak Postnatal fighters for dozens of rounds.
But now, Ian had sent him flying with a single strike. Could he be…?
Impossible! The thought flashed up, but Howard instantly dismissed it. Ian Song was far too young—seventeen or eighteen at most. How could someone that age be an Innate‑Rank Master?
But he wasn’t an Innate‑Rank Master—how could Ian defeat him in a single move?
Seeing Howard’s shifting expression, Ian knew his strength had shaken him. He bent down, picked up Shelly Song from the bed, then, after a moment’s thought, stomped on Deputy Director Xing’s crotch.
A sickening crunch sounded, and the unconscious Deputy Director Xing twitched in pain, his face contorted in agony.
Howard Hayes shivered instinctively at the sight.
Just then, more than twenty thugs rushed up to the floor, arriving just in time to see Ian carrying the unconscious Shelly Song out of the room. They quickly surrounded him, blocking his way.
Ian ignored them and looked straight at Howard Hayes.
Feeling Ian’s gaze, Howard was torn. If they fought, he and the thugs would definitely lose. But if he just let Ian leave, he’d be failing as security manager.
Either way, he was stuck. For a moment, Howard was completely conflicted.
"Die, punk!"
Just then, one thug, eager to show off, shouted and swung a punch at the back of Ian’s head.
"No, don’t!"
Howard Hayes shouted, but it was already too late. These thugs weren’t even Postnatal martial artists—they could handle a few ordinary people, but trying to ambush someone who might be an Innate‑Rank Master? That was suicide.
Bang!
The sneak attacker was sent flying, crashing into the wall at the far end of the corridor, seven or eight meters away.
"Get him!"
Seeing their companion kicked away, the other thugs couldn’t hold back any longer and all lunged at Ian Song.
"Hmph!"
With a cold snort, Ian’s legs blurred into afterimages. In less than three seconds, all twenty-plus thugs were sent flying through the air, careening down the corridor. One of them whipped past Zoey Su, who had followed close behind, startling her into a scream.
But after screaming, she realized she was fine and immediately felt embarrassed.
"What about you? Why aren’t you making a move?" After dealing with the thugs, Ian turned his gaze to Howard Hayes.
