Chapter 743: Weakness

In this kind of arena, with no chance of escape, the Unicorn Six-Tailed Fox became the greatest threat!

It could keep dodging, blinking around without restrictions...

Exactly!

If I can't hit it, then I need to figure out its blinking pattern and attack ahead of time!

Pattern!

Leon’s eyes suddenly lit up. He abandoned his analysis of the Golden Behemoth and the Runic Stone Giant, giving up on the overall simulation and focusing entirely on the Unicorn Six-Tailed Fox.

In an instant, Leon’s eyes seemed to change, his pupils swirling with countless data, symbols, and formulas. The magitech array spun wildly, capturing every trace of the Unicorn Six-Tailed Fox’s blinks and spellcasting.

After a dozen seconds, Leon’s eyes flashed again. His simulation speed had caught up with the Unicorn Six-Tailed Fox’s blinking, each blink landing exactly within his calculated results.

But that still wasn’t enough. After another dozen seconds, Leon’s simulation speed had already surpassed the Unicorn Six-Tailed Fox’s blinking!

Leon could predict the location of every blink from the Unicorn Six-Tailed Fox a full second in advance!

One second—enough time to do a lot!

Leon slowly raised the Doombringer Staff, his left hand flipping open the Death Tome. With the power of the Elemental Chapter, he amplified his spell’s strength, and by channeling through the Death Tome, pushed his casting speed to the limit.

In a flash, Leon spat out three musical notes. On a patch of empty ground nearby, three Voidrend Blades appeared out of thin air.

The three Voidrend Blades sliced in from three directions. At the exact moment they appeared, the Unicorn Six-Tailed Fox blinked right into the center of their formation!

A faint spatial ripple slightly hindered the Unicorn Six-Tailed Fox’s next blink, and that split second was all Leon needed!

The three Voidrend Blades formed a dead zone—anything caught in the middle had no hope of escape.

But the Unicorn Six-Tailed Fox didn’t panic at all. Its body contorted into a bizarre shape: the first Voidrend Blade sliced over its head, the second grazed beneath its belly, shaving off a bit of fur, and the third swept across its back.

Again, only a few strands of fur were cut.

A mocking smile appeared at the corner of the Unicorn Six-Tailed Fox’s mouth. Leon, too, smiled faintly.

In that instant, the Voidrend Blade that had swept across the Unicorn Six-Tailed Fox’s back suddenly split into a new blade!

This new Voidrend Blade appeared right against the Unicorn Six-Tailed Fox’s body. At that moment, no matter how fast it was, it couldn’t dodge!

A streak of black light flashed—the Unicorn Six-Tailed Fox’s body blinked away, but the next moment, it reappeared ten meters off... as a headless corpse. Its severed head lay another ten meters away.

Instantly killed!

Leon had cast four Voidrend Blades, but disguised two of them as one! Not just the Unicorn Six-Tailed Fox—everyone was fooled.

Three musical notes, three castings—all decoys, just to cover up the instant casting of the fourth spell!

If not for the need to instantly cast that Voidrend Blade—and make sure its power didn’t drop—Leon wouldn’t have used the Elemental Chapter!

Normally, instant-cast spells are weaker than those cast with full preparation. The difference in magical power is obvious and easy to spot...

For the first time, the Unicorn Six-Tailed Fox was hit by a spell—and met instant death.

Anderson let out a quiet sigh of relief. No one here understood the threat of the Unicorn Six-Tailed Fox better than he did—especially with the gathering spellstorm all around. That was only the prelude to the Fox’s most powerful composite spell.

If it couldn’t be killed in one blow, that powerful six-element composite spell would have come crashing down—and then things would get ugly...

With the Unicorn Six-Tailed Fox dead, only two opponents remained. Time was no longer so tight.

Leon now had more time to simulate. Moments later, he opened the Elemental Chapter and gave the Doombringer Staff a gentle wave. Three flaming vortexes appeared above the Runic Stone Giant’s head.

A torrent of elemental fire rained down, engulfing the Runic Stone Giant. Whenever it tried to escape, Leon would blast it back with Detonation.

"Merlin, what the hell are you doing? That Runic Stone Giant can’t be burned to death by fire..."

Anderson was fighting desperately against the Golden Behemoth, and seeing Leon’s pointless efforts, couldn’t help but complain.

Leon didn’t reply, just kept casting spells—mostly impact spells that didn’t really hurt the Runic Stone Giant.

Slowly, the Runic Stone Giant’s body grew red-hot from the elemental flames, but remained completely unharmed. This level of fire couldn’t possibly damage it—in fact, it might even make it stronger.

It seemed to feel its increasing power, too. Besides its own strength, its body was gradually filled with the energy of fire—each attack now carried a fierce fiery force.

Seeing it couldn’t break out, the Runic Stone Giant simply stopped, standing in the flames and letting them burn.

Only then did Leon spit out a flurry of musical notes. Beneath the Runic Stone Giant’s feet, intricate golden runes spread out, instantly covering a ten-meter radius.

The next moment, a gold-and-red pillar of fire shot up from the runes, wrapping the Runic Stone Giant inside.

The Runic Stone Giant roared loudly, but there was no pain in its voice—only the joy of newfound strength.

Ten seconds later, the Hellfire faded. The Runic Stone Giant swung its arm, scattering the elemental flames. Now, it looked like a burning, glass-like colossus.

Terrifying heat waves radiated from its body. The cannon fodder undead summoned by Barton were instantly reduced to ash with a single touch.

The Runic Stone Giant swung its arms and roared, seemingly more satisfied with its new, fiery crystal-like body.

With a cold face, Leon quickly said to Reina: "Reina, this guy’s overheating—help it cool down."

Without hesitation, Reina transformed into the Frost Dragon, swooping down from the sky as countless icy blue lights flashed in her mouth.
