Han Shaowei glared hatefully at him.

Enough, Han Shaowei, just admit you’re a coward. Why keep pushing? Hank Chu didn’t even dare come, and you’re still holding out—aren’t you just being stupid?

That Hank Chu isn’t much either. At this hour, he’s probably off chasing Chu Yu—always dreaming above his station. I’ve heard he’s taken out a bunch of loans too.

Han Shaowei, just give up. Bring Hank Chu over, have him kneel and apologize to Sun Bin, and this’ll be over.

Stop holding out. You and Hank Chu are both useless—why bother?

Laughter echoed from the sidelines.

Everyone was watching the spectacle.

Just give up now and let Hank Chu come. These last few points aren’t worth it.

Han Shaowei gritted his teeth and served the ball.

He drove in, tried to shoot, but Sun Bin intercepted and countered, widening the score gap.

No point anymore. Just kneel now.

Sun Bin held the ball, looking at Han Shaowei with utter contempt.

The crowd laughed.

I don’t buy it.

Han Shaowei, panting, was about to shout for another round.

Hey, are you Hank Chu’s roommate—his friend?

A boy’s voice suddenly rang out, calm and curious.

In that instant, everyone’s attention was drawn.

He’s busy today, so I came to deal with you. What’s so great about Mechatronics? I haven’t lost yet!

Han Shaowei glared at Sun Bin, anger in his eyes: "Watch your mouth!"

Han Shaowei glared hatefully at him.

"Alright, Han Shaowei, just admit you’re a coward already. Why keep holding out? Hank Chu didn’t even dare show up, and you’re still here acting tough—aren’t you just being stupid?" A guy outside the court stood with his arms crossed, shouting toward the players.

"That Hank Chu isn’t much either. Right now, he’s probably off chasing Chu Yu—always dreaming above his station. I heard he’s taken out a ton of loans, too."

A girl outside the court called out, "Han Shaowei, just give up. Bring Hank Chu over to kneel and apologize to Sun Bin, and this whole thing will be over."

There were plenty of people coming and going.

As he walked across campus, Evan wasn’t in a hurry. Quite a few girls snuck glances at him as he passed.

As he walked across campus, Evan wasn’t in a hurry. Quite a few girls snuck glances at him as he passed.

It looked like a one-on-one match.

One-on-one, that’s what they call 'bullfighting.'

With nothing else to do, Evan sat down, kept trying to reach Hank Chu, and watched the game.

There was a crowd around the basketball court.

The two players—one was pretty skinny, the other clearly more muscular.

The skinny guy started with the ball, drove in, tried a three-step layup, but got blocked. Then his opponent took the ball, counterattacked, and scored.

There wasn’t much skill involved; to Evan, both the moves and the technique felt kind of childish.

"Han Shaowei, just give up already. You’re no match for Sun Bin." A girl by the court shouted at the skinny player.
