Beat Him Within an Inch of His Life

Grace rolled her eyes and glanced at Rina Chu.

The look in her eyes as she stared at that pill was pure innocence—no doubt about it.

Grace silently swallowed a mouthful of blood.

Forget enemies as clever as gods—what I really fear are teammates as dumb as pigs...

She took a deep breath, flashed a mysterious smile, and said to Prince Zane Tuoba, "You really think that gas mask will save you? I'm the Grandmaster of the Spirit Alliance. Believe it or not, my cultivation might not be as high as yours, but I could end you in seconds!"

Of course, she was totally bluffing.

When you're up against someone way stronger, especially indoors, poison bomb attacks are the way to go.

Any other hidden weapons would barely make a dent against him.

"Oh yeah? Go ahead and try!" Prince Zane Tuoba walked toward her with a wicked grin.

Grace didn’t hold back. She whipped out her Rainflower Bracelet and, without a sound, unleashed a spray of poisoned needles at him.

Prince Zane Tuoba swept his sleeve with a flourish.

"Ah!" Grace cried out.

His powerful spirit energy bounced all the needles right back, stabbing Grace all over.

Grace quickly used her powers to force the needles out, then popped the antidote.

But her body was still going numb, wave after wave.

"With your pitiful cultivation, don't embarrass yourself in front of me! Be a good girl, serve me well, and maybe I'll go easy on you. How about it?"

Prince Zane Tuoba reached out to grab Grace.

A suffocating pressure pinned her down, making her unable to move or even breathe.

"Rina, run!" Grace shouted, about to pull out another poisoned weapon—when suddenly, the pressure from Prince Zane Tuoba vanished.

Grace turned her head in surprise. It was Rina Chu.

Rina Chu grabbed Prince Zane Tuoba by the wrist.

Prince Zane Tuoba's face changed dramatically.

"Grace, this Eighth Prince seems pretty important. Am I allowed to hit him?" Rina Chu asked.

Grace: "...He's a fourth-rank Spirit Master. Can you even beat him?"

"I'm a sixth-rank Spirit Master."

Sixth-rank Spirit Master...

There are only six ranks in the Spirit Master realm—after that, you become a Spirit Lord...

Grace was silent for a moment, then said, "Beat him within an inch of his life!"

"Got it!"

No sooner had she finished speaking than the sound of bones breaking filled the air, along with Prince Zane Tuoba's miserable screams.

Rina Chu twisted his arm, flipping it backwards with a snap.

Prince Zane Tuoba was no pushover. He tried a tricky kick, but Rina met him head-on, their legs colliding.

With a loud crack, Prince Zane Tuoba screamed again—his leg was broken too.

Grace felt the force from their fight sting her face, so she stepped back, sat down on a bench, and crossed her legs to watch the show.

Bang! Bang!

"Ah!"

Bang! Bang!

"Ah!"

Soon, Prince Zane Tuoba was beaten black and blue, covered in wounds, with multiple broken bones. He collapsed on the floor, barely breathing.

"Should I finish him off?" Rina Chu asked.

"Hmm... forget it!" Grace said. "Go get Lily Xu and have her take him down the mountain!"

"We're not killing him?" Rina Chu looked genuinely disappointed. "I think he's pure evil—he totally deserves it."

"He probably won't dare mess with us next time. If you can spare someone, you should." Grace replied.

He’s royalty. If he dies on Spirit Alliance Mountain... Grace wasn’t afraid of trouble, but she didn’t want to cause problems for Henry Tuoba.

After all, the royal family would definitely demand vengeance against Spirit Alliance Mountain...

"Fine!" Rina Chu said, and walked out the door.

Soon, Lily Xu was called over.

When Lily Xu saw Prince Zane Tuoba collapsed on the floor, she shrieked, "Ah! Your Highness! Grace Lawrence, how could you do this to the Eighth Prince?"
