Then I’ll Give You Little Five

Lucia Lu covered her forehead, utterly speechless.

She really shouldn’t have spoken to His Majesty the Celestial Emperor!

At that moment, the Celestial Empress shot the Emperor a sidelong glance and said, "Lady Hundred Blossoms, please continue."

Lady Hundred Blossoms nodded and prepared to restart the drum-and-flower game.

Just then, a Palace Guard slipped inside and quietly spoke to the Celestial Emperor.

The Celestial Emperor’s brows instantly furrowed.

"Your Majesty, has something happened?" Soren Lann asked.

On such an occasion, unless it was truly urgent, the Palace Guard would never interrupt.

The Celestial Emperor said, "That Demon Beast from Clearwind Gorge was captured."

"That’s good news!" Soren Lann exclaimed. "Then why the worried look, Your Majesty?"

"It escaped while being escorted to Drake Abyss," the Emperor added.

"What!" Everyone was stunned. "Where did it go?"

The Palace Guard reporting said, "It vanished using Invisibility, but we’re sure it hasn’t left Drake Abyss."

Everyone started murmuring anxiously.

"That Demon Beast is incredibly dangerous!"

"Yeah! If it hurts someone’s child, that would be terrible."

"We need to find it fast..."

...

Just as the Gods were discussing, Sean Shaw suddenly rose, teleported in front of the Celestial Emperor, and swung his sword.

Clang! The sound rang out sharply.

A black-qi-shrouded dagger suddenly appeared and stabbed into the wall nearby.

Sean bit his tongue and spat out a mouthful of blood mist.

A figure wreathed in sinister black energy materialized.

At the same time, Sean unleashed a streak of Red Light, blasting the attacker away.

Brandon Xiao, Gavin Yuan, and the other young High Gods rushed forward, working together to subdue the intruder. They bound him with Immortal Binding Rope and pinned him to the ground.

The assembled immortals all breathed a sigh of relief.

That demon infiltrator had actually entered the Celestial Hall without anyone noticing—truly terrifying.

After all, the hall was protected by layer upon layer of Spirit Barriers.

And there were guards everywhere.

Inside, the greatest experts of the era were gathered. Ordinary Invisibility Techniques shouldn’t work here at all.

Fortunately, Fifth Highness noticed in time. Otherwise, that dagger might have pierced the Celestial Emperor’s heart.

The dagger was shrouded in black qi, full of demonic energy—and possibly poison. It was a truly close call.
