Giant Green Lizard Demon
"Eat it!"
"Spirit Fruit is precious, but we've all had our share. We've already eaten, so you can enjoy it yourself, noble sir."
This guy was seriously weird, actually telling Bobby to eat the fruit.
Bobby didn't even know him, so of course he couldn't just eat something from a stranger.
"Since you call me a noble guest, a lowly servant like you has no right to refuse," the man sneered. "Eat it!"
"I have things to do. Goodbye!" Bobby turned to leave.
"Stop right there!" The man suddenly grabbed Bobby's arm and shoved the Spirit Fruit toward his mouth.
The man's cultivation was way above Bobby's, so Bobby couldn't fight back. His mouth was forced open, and the fruit was shoved inside.
Bobby felt like something alive had crawled into his mouth, burrowing into his seven orifices.
"Ah! Ah!" Bobby reached into his mouth to grab it, but came up empty-handed, screaming in agony.
"Bobby! That's Bobby over there!" At that moment, Rina Chu was with Grace, and the two of them noticed the commotion and rushed over.
Sure enough, the one clutching his mouth and screaming in pain was Bobby.
To their horror, they saw fuzzy green legs poking out from his nose and mouth.
And Bobby's face kept sprouting rotten, fish-scale-like patches, making him completely unrecognizable.
"What did you do to Bobby?" Grace grabbed the man, pressing the Celestial Sword to his throat.
"None of your business!" The man glared at Grace and Rina Chu. "If you don't want to end up like him, you better get lost!"
Grace caught a glimpse of his pupils and her eyes narrowed sharply. She let go of him, pulled out a Realgar Pill from her space, crushed it with Yuan Force, mixed it with water, and—faster than lightning—forced it into his mouth.
The man let out a miserable scream, his eyes flashing with fury, and his whole body started to mutate.
"Ah! What is that thing?!" Rina Chu jumped back in fright.
The man grew more and more terrifying, until he finally transformed into a gigantic green lizard.
"What is that thing? Oh my gosh! Did I just see a monster?" Rina Chu clung to Grace's arm, trembling as she asked.
"It's definitely a monster..." Grace was seeing this for the first time too, her breath quickening. "Go get help! Find the Divine Race to deal with him!"
"But what about you...?"
Grace wiped the remaining Realgar Water onto her sword and said, "I can handle him. Just go!"
Rina Chu dashed off at lightning speed.
Grace swung the Scarlet Sky Sword at the lizard, channeling the power of the Infernal Drake Pearl inside it. With fire magic at full blast, she unleashed its maximum power.
Still, even that only managed to scratch him with a few minor wounds.
A demon that can take human form has insanely high cultivation—about equal to a Spirit Lord among humans.
Grace didn't expect to win, just to stall for time until reinforcements arrived.
But the lizard seemed to catch on to Grace's plan and tried to make a run for it.
"Ray! Wake up and blow a bubble!" Grace shouted.
Ray hadn't slept well last night and was just waking up. He jumped out of his nest and blew a bubble at the lizard.
The lizard really couldn't run anymore. He darted around inside the bubble, but no matter what, he couldn't break free.
"Where did you come from, monster?" Grace demanded. "Hurry up and get rid of whatever's on Bobby's face!"
Ordinary Realgar medicine wasn't enough—the lizard quickly shifted back into human form and asked, "What kind of magic is that?"
"I told you to get rid of the stuff on Bobby's face!" Grace snapped. "I'll count to three—if you don't do it, I'll turn you into a pile of ash!"
