Doubts About the Blue Clan’s Status

2/14/2026

The Blue Clan Guard Captain stared at Wyatt Wolf. If he gave the order, his men would immediately make a move.

Wyatt Wolf knew that if things continued like this, the other side would eventually attack. So he whistled—a very special whistle.

Bruno Bear and Harlan Tiger appeared as well, each accompanied by several top experts.

The Blue Clan Guard Captain was shocked to see so many people coming out from the stronghold.

"Leave. This is Free Alliance territory, not the Blue Clan's." Wyatt Wolf said with a smile.

The Blue Clan Guard Captain glared at them, then said, "Let's go." He led his people away.

After watching them leave, Bruno Bear said, "Wyatt Wolf, you should tell Vice Alliance Master Grant and the others in the base about this."

"You mean...?" Usually, Wyatt Wolf only contacted the base when something major happened.

"He’s the Blue Clan Guard Captain. The only reason he didn’t force his way in is that he can’t fully represent the Blue Clan right now. If the Blue Clan Patriarch launches a full search against the Free Alliance, we won't have enough experts here to resist." Bruno Bear analyzed.

"Are they really going to make a move?" Wyatt Wolf was skeptical when he heard the Blue Clan might actually attack.

"I'm just guessing. You go do as I said, and as for what happens next, the higher-ups will decide," said Bruno Bear.

Wyatt Wolf knew Bruno Bear was smarter and steadier than himself, so he nodded, then disappeared in a flash.

"You take the others and keep an eye on the surroundings. Make sure the Blue Clan doesn't try to sneak in and search," Bruno Bear told Harlan Tiger.

Harlan Tiger nodded and led the rest to reinforce the base's defenses.

"Looks like things are about to change," Bruno Bear muttered. In all his years here, he'd never seen the Blue Clan bring so many people. Even if nothing happened now, something big was coming soon.

The Blue Clan Guard Captain had already brought his men outside the stronghold. He found a spot, took out a Transmission Stone, and started communicating with the other side.

"The Free Alliance isn't giving us any face at all?" came a muffled voice from the other end.

"No, they're not," replied the Guard Captain.

"Looks like the Free Alliance is dead set on protecting them," the voice said, sounding displeased.

"So what do we do now?" The Guard Captain was always straightforward, and this was the first time he'd ever been blocked by an organization like this. He was clearly frustrated.

"The Free Alliance is a mysterious organization on the continent. Normally, they don't show much strength, but they have plenty of powerful experts. If it weren't for our Blue Clan having that person, the Free Alliance could easily replace us."

Hearing even the Blue Clan Patriarch speak so highly of the Free Alliance, the Guard Captain fell silent.

Seeing the Guard Captain quiet, the Blue Clan Patriarch spoke again: "Free Alliance... Try going in as ordinary people. You must find Evan Yang's whereabouts. If you spot him, report to me immediately, or just capture him—our Blue Clan will take responsibility for whatever happens."

With the Blue Clan Patriarch's approval, the Guard Captain nodded, gave orders to the group, and disguised themselves as ordinary people.

The Free Alliance sees many cultivators come and go every day, so it was easy for the Blue Clan members to blend in.

Once inside, they lived like ordinary cultivators, but secretly gathered information and asked around.

After a while, some Blue Clan members were caught by Harlan Tiger and others, punished in front of everyone, and warned not to break the rules here again.

Some were easily recognized by Free Alliance members and dragged out.

After half a month, the Guard Captain emerged with only three people. Of the thirty who went in, only these remained.

"Damn it, they caught all of us?" The Guard Captain couldn't believe what he saw.

The other three exchanged glances, relieved they hadn't been discovered by the Free Alliance and were able to walk out alive.

Seeing the three silent, the Guard Captain contacted the Blue Clan Patriarch again. Hearing there was no news about Evan Yang, he felt...

After losing dozens of people, he couldn't help but curse, "Damn it, those people are bold—do they really think our Blue Clan is easy to bully?"

"Patriarch, what now?" the Guard Captain asked for instructions.

"Wait there for me. I'm coming right now," said the Blue Clan Patriarch.

Hearing the Blue Clan Patriarch was coming, the Guard Captain finally relaxed and waited there.

Wyatt Wolf and the others also noticed something was happening, and the number of people at the base had increased significantly.

About five days later, the base welcomed a formidable figure—the Blue Clan Patriarch.

"Step aside," the Blue Clan Patriarch said to Wyatt Wolf and the other two.

"Didn't expect the Blue Clan Patriarch himself. The three of us pay our respects," Bruno Bear greeted politely first.

The Blue Clan Patriarch wasn't here for pleasantries. He snorted coldly, "Move aside."

Wyatt Wolf and the other two exchanged glances and stood their ground, showing no intention of leaving.

"Aren't you afraid of dying?" The Blue Clan Patriarch was in the Spirit-Wandering Realm; dealing with a few Soul-Forming Great Perfection guardians would be effortless.

Wyatt Wolf and the others knew full well this was the Blue Clan Patriarch, but their conviction was clear: they had to protect this place. If they backed down, the Free Alliance would no longer be free, and eventually, everyone would be threatened by powerful clans.

Seeing the three unmoving, the Blue Clan Patriarch snorted, "Courting death!" With a flash, he appeared before Wyatt Wolf and struck out with a palm.

Just then, a voice rang out: "Blue Clan Patriarch, are you really going to bully the weak with the strong?"

Someone appeared behind Wyatt Wolf, pulled him aside, and met the Blue Clan Patriarch's palm head-on. The force from their clash pushed everyone nearby back a step.

"You..." The Blue Clan Patriarch hadn't expected to encounter a Spirit-Wandering expert here.

The others became mere spectators. There was no need for anyone else to fight—when Spirit-Wandering experts clashed, the outcome was decided by their duel. Spirit-Wandering experts were far stronger than any lower realm.

Wyatt Wolf and the others maintained order around them, while the Blue Clan Patriarch and the mysterious newcomer began a fierce battle.
