Two Beads as One and a Strange Vision

At that moment, Evan Yang fended off the giants for a while, then abruptly amped up his strength and knocked them all down—including the one who could speak his language.

A short while later, Evan got up and left. Completely unfamiliar with the area, he grabbed the man who spoke his language and took off, vanishing from sight. Evan dropped the man and demanded, "Tell me—how do I get out of this world?"

"I’m not telling you," the man replied stubbornly.

Evan sneered, "You won't tell me? Then I'll make you tell me."

With that, Evan activated his inner-heart world ability. Whatever he wanted to know, he could read right from the man’s mind. When the man finally came to, he stared at Evan in terror.

Evan smiled, "Alright, you're not important anymore." He dropped the man. The man panicked and pleaded, "Take me with you!"

"You’ve got your own legs, haven’t you? Want me to carry you out? Don’t be ridiculous." Evan sneered, then turned to leave. Hearing this, the man cried out in fear, "You brought me to a forbidden place!"

"A forbidden place? Here? What's the difference?" Evan asked, puzzled. He glanced around and noticed the ground beneath his feet was red concrete—red soil and sand.

The man glanced at the red earth and sand and said, "There are monsters here. I don’t want to get eaten—please take me away."

"Monsters? What monsters? I think you're just making things up to scare me," Evan said with a cold laugh after scanning the surroundings and seeing nothing unusual.

The man shook his head. "I'm telling the truth."

Evan still didn't believe him. Just then, the sky suddenly darkened. Seeing this, the man cried out in terror, "It's coming, it's coming!"

Evan frowned. What kind of creature could change its surroundings like that? No ordinary being could pull that off.

Just as Evan braced himself, he spotted the red earth nearby starting to shift. "So there really is something here. Let’s see if this thing lives up to being called a monster," he muttered.

Evan drew the Limitless Spear, then leaped forward and stabbed it into the moving concrete ahead. The instant the spear struck, Evan felt it pierce something hard and brittle. A furious roar erupted from underground, and a gigantic head burst out where Evan held the spear.

The creature's entire body was made of concrete; its species was unknown, but it was enormous. Evan had stabbed its ear.

Blood streamed from its ear. Evan yanked the Limitless Spear free and stepped back, eyeing the massive creature: it had a long neck, a huge head, a colossal body, four legs as thick as elephant trunks, and a giant pointed tail, roaring furiously at Evan.

"Whatever you are, monster, don’t bother me. Move along," Evan snorted. The man beside him saw Evan make the creature’s ear bleed and muttered in dismay, "Great, now we’re done for. You’ve really made it mad."

The creature was clearly furious. It opened its mouth, and from the dark clouds overhead, a lightning sphere suddenly shot down, aiming straight for Evan.

Boom! The lightning was extremely fast, striking Evan before he could dodge. The man beside him quickly closed his eyes, unsure what Evan's fate would be.

The creature that attacked Evan with lightning thought for sure he’d been roasted. But when it saw Evan gripping the Limitless Spear, grinning up at it, it was stunned—and lashed its tail at him. Evan instantly extended the Limitless Spear to block the blow.

The tail packed a punch, forcing Evan back several steps before he managed to steady himself. A deep footprint was left in the red earth beneath him—a testament to the creature’s power.

After steadying himself, Evan sneered, "You think this can defeat me? You're dreaming. Watch this."

With that, Evan's Limitless Spear lunged forward, releasing boundless flames. At the same time, the Five Gods Pendant—now renamed by Evan as the Limitless Pendant—flew out, slicing through the air like a sword. Attacking from front and back, they left two deep wounds on the creature.

Enraged, the creature howled at the sky. Lightning rained down from above, pounding the ground with thunderous force. Evan remained unharmed and even laughed, "Bring it on!" as he absorbed the lightning one by one.

Seeing that Evan wasn't afraid of the lightning, the creature glared at him in fury. But it wasn't stupid—after watching for a while, it quickly turned and fled, terrified that Evan would kill it.

The man beside Evan was stunned—Evan had become a hero who repelled monsters. Evan ignored him, immediately chasing after the creature that had fled underground.

"Trying to escape? No way. I want to see just how far you can run!" Evan snorted, repeatedly hurling the Limitless Spear ahead of the creature, then picking it up and throwing again. The creature's speed was astonishing—Evan guessed it could rival Brocade's.

Evan couldn't understand how such a bulky creature could move so fast, especially with the lightning. It was beyond his imagination, so he wanted to see what kind of being could possess so many bizarre abilities.

With Evan in hot pursuit, the creature ran wildly until it finally stopped at a certain spot. Behind it was a lake. When Evan saw it stop, he laughed, "What now? Still planning to run?"

"Roar!" the creature bellowed.

"I'm not really someone who kills indiscriminately. I have a question—if you can answer it, I'll let you go," Evan said.

The creature seemed to understand Evan, staying by the lake and nodding. Seeing its response, Evan smiled, "How did you create those storm clouds? And the lightning—was that your elemental attack, or did you use the clouds to summon it?"

The creature stared at Evan, then a voice sounded: "It's because there's something inside my body."

"Something inside? What is it? Can I take a look?" Evan asked curiously.

The creature replied, "I accidentally swallowed it and can't get it out. If I could, I would—it's unbearable. Every day, my body is flooded with powerful currents. It hurts so much."

Hearing this, Evan thought for a moment and smiled, "Alright, I'll help you get it out. Open your mouth."

The creature stared at Evan in shock. Evan vanished in a flash, and the creature only felt something enter its body.

"Did he really go inside?" the creature wondered, left with no choice but to wait by the lake.

Watching the fusion, Evan’s heart leapt with excitement. He gripped the merged bead in his palm as a surge of powerful electricity coursed through him. Then, with a single motion, Evan pulled the fused bead out from the creature’s body.

The bead in Evan’s hand was one he’d gotten from Old Ghost Black Mountain in the Demon Realm years ago. He hadn’t used it in ages, but seeing this similar bead prompted him to pull it out. As Evan pressed his bead next to the other, the two beads suddenly fused together.

Watching the fusion, Evan excitedly grasped the merged bead in his palm. Instantly, a surge of powerful electricity flooded his body. Evan then removed the fused bead from the creature's body.

Hearing the voice outside, Evan smiled and flashed out of the creature’s body. When the creature saw Evan had removed the object, it was overjoyed. "Thank you!" it said.

Evan asked curiously, "Where did you get this thing?"

"You mean that cursed thing? I got it from this lake," the creature replied. Evan glanced at the lake suspiciously, furrowing his brow. There were no other creatures nearby, and he wondered why there was water here—shouldn't it evaporate? Evan eyed the water skeptically and finally asked, "Is there something special about this water?"

"Yes. No one dares touch it—anyone who does dies," the creature said.

Hearing this, Evan approached the water and realized—it must be Yin Water. He asked, "How did this Yin Water get here?"

The creature shook its head, indicating it didn't know. Evan then asked, "How did you end up here?"

"Me? I was born here—this is my home. The water is what I drink," the creature said.

Evan asked skeptically, "You drink it? Aren't you afraid of dying?"

"Others would die if they drank it, but not me," the creature replied. Evan eyed the creature and the lake, muttering, "This really is interesting. I want to go down and see what's special about it."

"You can't go down—you'll die," the creature warned. Evan smiled, "Don't worry, I'll protect myself."

Evan surrounded himself with a protective shield, allowing him to descend safely.

Underwater, Evan found darkness all around. The bead in his hand began to move, drifting downward. Evan followed it to the bottom, where there was a small opening. The bead fit perfectly into the opening and then released countless rays of light, so bright Evan had to close his eyes.

When Evan opened his eyes again, he saw an image appear on the bead. The image showed scene after blurry scene, but what stood out most was that entire planes were exploding inside the bead. Evan frowned. "What is this? Why are these planes exploding?"

As Evan tried to observe further, the bead lost its glow. Suddenly, a figure left a message inside the bead—a mere mirage, but it still shocked Evan. The image spoke and then disappeared.
