Void Deep Well

According to Luke Starriver's account, within Thousandmount Town—or rather, within Qianwild City's territory—there exist multiple time-space rifts, and the monsters and fiend beasts emerge from these rifts.

However, these time-space rifts are mobile, but strangely, they never leave the boundaries of Qianwild City.

Take Thousandmount Town, for example. Usually, every three years, a monster will emerge from a time-space rift, almost like clockwork, and every nine years, two monsters will come out at the same time.

Other towns are about the same; almost every three years, a Monster Calamity strikes.

After searching all over Thousandmount Town, Ian Song didn’t find any so-called time-space rift, leaving him a bit disappointed.

So, following the Immortal World map in his mind, he headed to the neighboring town—Wanyu Town.

After asking around, he learned that two days ago a monster emerged from a time-space rift. In the effort to destroy it, Wanyu Town suffered heavy losses—over two hundred Immortals died.

Likewise, he found no sign of a time-space rift within Wanyu Town.

So, Ian hurried to yet another town. Coincidentally, half a day earlier, a monster had attacked this town, causing over three hundred casualties before finally being destroyed.

This gave Ian a glimmer of hope, and he quickly rushed to the next town.

This town was called Darkcloud Town, and though it hadn’t yet suffered a Monster Calamity, the Immortals there seemed to anticipate its arrival, remaining on high alert.

So Ian checked into an inn and waited for the Monster Calamity to arrive.

A day passed.

Two days passed.

On the third day of Ian’s stay in Darkcloud Town, his divine sense—spread throughout the town and surrounding area—detected an anomaly in the void.

Just as he focused his divine sense on that patch of void, a cracking sound rang out—a time-space rift over ten meters long and two meters wide appeared.

He hesitated slightly.

Ian sent his divine sense probing inside. Within the time-space rift was a gigantic, pitch-black Void Deep Well, and faintly, roars echoed from its depths.

The roars weren’t from a single creature, but from many unknown beings.

After a quick listen, Ian could distinguish at least three hundred different monster cries.
