Seven-Star Convergence Day

1/19/2026

After the farewell banquet, Evan Chu told Gus Bullard and Zack Zhao to go back and pack their things. Since they were leaving the secular world, there were certain items they still needed to prepare. Early the next morning, after saying goodbye to Skylar Yule, Gabe Goldstone, and the others, Evan and his two sworn brothers set off directly.

Just hearing that they were going to the Azure Tide Ruins, Gus and Zack were both wildly excited. This was the holy land countless cultivators dreamed of, a place that, without Evan, would have forever remained unreachable—a sanctuary that could only exist in their fantasies. Now, all of that was about to become reality.

After leaving the city gates, Evan summoned Goldwing as their mount. Gus and Zack already knew about Goldwing, so they didn’t say much—just climbed onto his back and felt that incredible speed. The sheer velocity left both of them a little shaken; it was so fast they almost couldn’t handle it.

“Old Goldwing, slow down a bit. Gus and Zack’s cultivation isn’t high, and this speed—plus the wind pressure—is actually dangerous for them,” Evan said.

At the moment, Gus and Zack were only at the early Divine Martial Realm—a level that was honestly way too weak compared to Evan. Still, he believed that within a few years, both of them would definitely break through to the Saint Martial Realm.

Along the way, Evan chatted with the two about what they’d been up to these past few years. By the time they finished catching up, they’d already arrived at the Teleportation Gate. After a day of travel, the three of them returned to Frostbane Sect. When Gus and Zack saw the sheer size of the sect, they were so shocked they couldn’t even speak.

Evan had Joan He personally arrange separate rooms for the two of them and explained their identities. Once Frostbane Sect’s important members heard that these two were Evan’s sworn brothers, they immediately treated them with deep respect. Even though their cultivation was low, nobody dared look down on them—offending Evan’s brothers would mean courting disaster.

As for why Selena hadn’t returned, Evan explained her situation to the women. Over the next few days, Evan spent his time with his wives, while Gus and Zack were sent to the underground secret chamber to cultivate. The moment they entered and saw how dense the Stellar Power was, both men were instantly overjoyed. Evan handed each of them a Heaven-tier martial technique manual before leaving the chamber.

Time flew by—an entire month passed in a flash. For the first half of the month, Evan ‘completely settled’ all his women in bed; none of them could get up for days. The craziest time was a five-woman battle all in one night. Even he started to get tired of such extravagance.

In the latter half of the month, Evan seemed like a changed man—he stopped going near women entirely and locked himself in his room to cultivate. He really was training, but after half a month, he’d made zero progress, leaving him totally frustrated.

He couldn’t absorb any energy from the Native-Soil Crystal or the Glassfire Crystal, and even taking them out of his ring was exhausting. In the end, Luna told him the real problem was his own lack of strength—if he wanted to break through, he’d have to go to the Dragon Shrine and awaken the final stage of his bloodline.

Actually, Evan had wanted to head to the Dragon Shrine as soon as he got back, but Roxanne Lin was in seclusion—and this time, her closed-door cultivation would take more than a month. Evan could only wait for her to come out before leaving, since the trip to the Dragon Shrine also meant visiting the Vermilion Bird Clan to fulfill his promise to them.

That day, Roxanne finally finished her seclusion. As soon as she heard Evan was back, she came to see him. "Lin Feng, I’ve got good news! This time in seclusion, I gained another set of inheritance memories—I know exactly where the Divine Parasol Tree Wood is, and how to get it."

Evan knew that once Roxanne got the Divine Parasol Tree Wood, she’d be able to undergo her first Phoenix Nirvana—her strength would skyrocket. He asked, "Where is it? Is it really hard to get?"

Roxanne nodded and said, "The Divine Parasol Tree Wood is in another world, but I know a way to get there. In a bit more than a month, the Seven-Star Convergence will appear. If we can pinpoint the exact location, we’ll be able to enter that other world—and the Divine Parasol Tree Wood is in Flame Valley over there."

Evan remembered that Demon Lord Solus had mentioned the Seven-Star Convergence before, saying the next appearance would be near Divine Dragon Valley. That meant this trip was even more important. But he was also worried—Roxanne clearly wanted to enter that other world, and there was no way he’d feel safe letting her go alone.

But if he went with her, what about the women in the Azure Tide Ruins? What about his parents, and Frostbane Sect? It looked like the Divine Parasol Tree Wood would have to wait until he’d reached the point of ascension—he’d go for it when he was strong enough.

Evan wanted to tell Roxanne the truth, but he was afraid of crushing her happiness all at once. Seeing his woman sad was the last thing he wanted, so he forced a smile and said, "If possible, I’ll do my best to help you get it. But first, we need to visit the Vermilion Bird Temple—I promised the Temple Master I’d deliver Netherghost Violet Orchids. Go get ready, we’ll leave tomorrow."

After Roxanne left, Luna said, "Lin Feng, the Divine Parasol Tree Wood really is in Flame Valley, and that’s the territory of the divine-beast phoenixes. Ordinary people can’t even get close. You’d better think this through— the Immortal Realm isn’t like the Azure Tide Ruins. Even the weakest person there could wipe you out in a single move. Don’t act recklessly."

"Let’s talk about that later. What exactly is the Seven-Star Convergence? I’ve never heard of it before. Luna, do you know what it means?" Evan asked.

"That’s exactly what I wanted to tell you. I never expected the Seven-Star Convergence Day to come so soon—it caught me totally off guard," Luna said, sounding a little forlorn.

Evan noticed something off in Luna’s tone and grew anxious. "What’s going on? Will the Seven-Star Convergence hurt you or put you in danger?" he asked urgently.

After a long pause, Luna answered, "The Seven-Star Convergence is a strange phenomenon between heaven and earth—seven massive stars align in a straight line. It only happens once every hundred thousand years, and the location always changes. I never thought it would appear in the Azure Tide Ruins this time. Looks like we only have about a month left together."

Evan was shaken. He’d thought that after rescuing his mother, he and Luna would finally be together for real. But now she was saying she’d have to leave soon—he couldn’t accept it. "Why only a month? Will you be wiped out when the Seven-Star Convergence appears?"

"That’s pretty much it. When the Seven-Star Convergence appears, anything with a soul from the Immortal Realm or God Realm will be affected—either trapped in eternal sleep, wiped out, or forcibly ascended to the Immortal Realm. But ascending is incredibly dangerous, because it means facing tribulation lightning. That’s why Demon Lord Solus tried to forcibly possess your body," Luna explained.

"Didn’t he say he needed my help to break through the void on Seven-Star Convergence Day? Now you’ve got me totally confused. Either way, I absolutely won’t let anything happen to you," Evan said firmly.
