Joyful Reunion

2/14/2026

Everyone watched as Lanny and Pinkie gradually faded from view. Each person’s heart was a mess of emotions—after all this time together, there was no way they hadn’t grown attached!

But every mouth was curved in a happy smile—because they were genuinely glad for them. In their next life, Lanny and Pinkie would be happy, truly happy.

And that’s enough.

"Alright, time’s running out—let’s move!" Black Reaper checked the sky and started urging everyone onward.

"Yeah, hurry up! We’ve got to get back fast," White Reaper chimed in anxiously. As their deadline approached, they had to return to their bodies quickly—otherwise, the consequences would be unimaginable!

But none of them ever made him truly open his heart. None of them ever let him show his real self.

Seeing this, Ivy Shen crouched down and patted his head. "What’s wrong? Little Pretty, you’re a real man, you know—you can’t cry!" she said gently, wiping away his tears.

"Sis, I really like you—so much! I don’t want to let you go, wuwuwu..." With that, Little Pretty flung himself into her arms, bawling his eyes out.

He was an abandoned baby—his life ended before he’d even fully formed, all because his mom took a deadly bowl of medicine.

He never understood what he’d done wrong—why did his mother drink that bowl of medicine that cost him his life?

He’d only just started to exist—he didn’t even have his own consciousness yet. But even so, he wanted so badly to stay.

But his mother didn’t want him. She insisted on drinking that medicine, leaving him no chance to ever be born.

As a ghost baby, he was full of resentment and anger—he was about to turn into a vengeful spirit. But at that moment, Grandpa Judge saved him.

Grandpa Judge taught him gratitude, taught him that even the underworld was a world of its own.

Little by little, he gave up his hatred and learned to survive on his own in hell. Over time, he made lots of friends.

But none of them ever made him truly open his heart. None of them ever let him show his real self.

Until Ivy Shen—the bold, fierce, but secretly gentle woman—showed up.

His heart was moved for the first time. He realized he’d always wanted this kind of care—this motherly love. He couldn’t bear to let her go!

Seeing him like this, Ivy Shen’s heart softened too. She really couldn’t bear to leave him behind—she truly liked this child. He was so young, wandering hell all alone. He must have been scared, so lonely!

"Ghost Princess, if I leave, could you please look after him for me?" Ivy Shen turned to the Ghost Princess, making her request. She didn’t know why, but she just liked him and couldn’t bear to part with him.
