Kidnapped by Bandits

Seeing the old man drink the liquor without any problems, the others who had been holding back couldn't resist any longer and stepped forward as well.

Judging from their expressions, Evan Yang knew he was finally on track. By the end of the day, he had earned tens of thousands of middle-grade Immortal Source. Each cup sold for ten thousand pieces of lower-grade Immortal Source, and he even claimed he was almost out of stock and needed to restock.

After tasting the fine wine, many people were willing to spend that kind of money.

So after the first day, Evan made a huge profit. He then used the excuse of needing to pause for a day, planning to sell again the next day. First, this gave him time and made others think he was restocking; second, it was to stoke everyone’s desire.

After all, things that are scarce are naturally more precious and expensive, which attracts even more people to come and try.

But the good times didn’t last. On the day Evan closed up shop and stopped selling, a group of people arrived, greedily eyeing him.

"What are you doing?" Seeing these people and their outfits, Evan realized he’d run into bandits. Logically, this was near the city—how could there be bandits? Weren’t they afraid of the city’s powerful guards?

"What are we doing? Obviously, kidnapping and robbing you," one of the bandits laughed.

With that, the bandits made their move. Evan quickly realized their strength was formidable. He tried to activate his Luminous Armor, but found his whole body immobilized—they’d trapped him with a special net, and he couldn’t even trigger his Luminous Armor.

"Damn it," Evan thought, shocked.

Seeing Evan captured, one of the bandits laughed, "He’s not a big catch, but he’s decent. Come on, let’s take him back to the stronghold."

"The stronghold? Even this kind of guy is worth bringing back?" one bandit complained, sounding a bit unwilling.

"This guy isn’t for the brothers to share. He probably doesn’t have much Immortal Source for us to rob anyway. I caught him for Little Ivy—you haven’t forgotten, have you? She’s been pestering us for days to bring someone up so she can spar and have someone to talk to." the bandit who suggested capturing Evan explained.

"I almost forgot. Good thinking! Let’s take him away—he’s just one guy anyway." The bandit laughed after being reminded.

So, naturally, Evan was bound by that strange net and then thrown into their Space Ring.

"What kind of net is this, anyway?" Evan wondered, trying to struggle free but finding he couldn’t break it.

"Daggers?" Evan thought of his sharp daggers and summoned them. All ten daggers struck the net at once, easily slicing it apart.

Freed from the net, Evan looked around the space. "This is a Space Ring! Let’s see if I can break it open."

Evan attacked the inside, but his strength wasn’t enough—he couldn’t shatter the Space Ring.

"What now?" Evan pondered. He had to escape—otherwise, if they discovered he’d cut open the net, they’d definitely be furious.
