Evan Chu could tell Selena had something else in mind, so he forced a smile and said, "Let's go. It's a huge honor to admire the moon with the auction master herself!"

But inside, he couldn’t help muttering to himself: "No idea what kind of torment I’ll get this time. Being around this witch, you really have to be on guard every second."

At this, Selena turned to Elder Warren with a smile. "Elder Warren, tomorrow you’ll hide outside the city. We’ll wait there for the fish to bite."

"Understood. Take care, auction master!" Elder Warren replied politely.

Both Skylar Yule and Elder Warren treated the auction master of Valorcrest Auctions with deep respect. It wasn’t just because Selena was powerful—her business empire was simply enormous. Valorcrest was actually her smallest venture.

To have such strength at her age, there was only one possibility: a powerful clan backing her, providing rare spiritual medicine and Starstones. Nothing else could explain it.

In the Heavenly Dragon Empire, clans like that shouldn’t even exist. Everything she said and every bit of information they’d gathered was astonishing—the only real possibility was that Selena wasn’t from the Heavenly Dragon Empire at all.

She definitely wasn’t from the Sea Dragon Empire either. In their hearts, both men felt Selena probably came from the legendary Azure Tide Ruins, where experts are as common as clouds.

The Azure Tide Ruins were said to be a treasure trove of Starstones and spiritual medicine. Rumor had it you could pick up chunks of high-grade Starstones straight from the mountains—and sometimes even supreme-grade ones.

Plenty of people knew about the Azure Tide Ruins, but no one who’d gone there had ever come back. It was said there used to be a teleportation array leading to the Ruins, but it vanished a thousand years ago.

Now, the only way to reach the Azure Tide Ruins was by crossing the sea, but the sea was incredibly dangerous. Countless sea demons and beasts there were at the Heaven Martial Realm or even Divine Martial Realm. No one from the mainland dared to go.

If the Heavenly Dragon Empire could have someone from the Azure Tide Ruins as a backer, its future would be limitless.

Selena and Evan Chu walked out of the hall together. Selena grabbed Evan by the arm and the two of them shot into the sky, vanishing instantly into the night.

Watching them disappear, Elder Warren sighed, "Second Prince, looks like Selena’s got a real soft spot for Evan Chu. You might be out of luck."

"I never thought she’d fall for me," Skylar Yule replied. "A woman like that is way out of my league. Just having her help is more than enough—I don’t need to aim any higher."

"Even if you can’t reach her, you can still work through Evan Chu. That kid’s not just bold and talented—he’s pretty savvy too. If you build a good relationship with him, it might be even better. I believe his future is limitless," Elder Warren said.

"Elder Warren, Evan Chu isn’t someone you can just buy. Don’t forget, the kid’s got plenty of secrets—Fire Crystal, Ice Crystal, Iceflame Crystal, every one a priceless treasure. And just think how many Starstones he must have!"

I’ve seen Selena up close—she really is a beauty worthy of toppling kingdoms. With a woman like her by his side, do you think Evan would even look at anyone else? And even if he did, you think Selena would allow it?

Starstones and women can’t sway him, so what could we possibly offer to win him over or even befriend him?" Skylar Yule said, feeling helpless.

"Don’t worry, Second Prince. Everyone’s got a weakness. If you treat him sincerely, I believe he’ll stand with you. And even if not, you could still be friends. When that time comes, what’s to stop you from achieving greatness?" Elder Warren said...
