Xin’er’s World Collapses (Part 1)

The two bodies on the ground quickly stiffened in the freezing winter night.

Ivy Shen frowned at the woman across from her, whose lips were still stained with blood—she felt nothing but disgust for Wendy Cao.

Was this woman even human anymore? More like a beast—she was just too vicious!

"Ugh..." Wendy Cao suddenly flung both arms back and arched her whole body forward. In an instant, her hairpiece fell off, and her long black hair whipped wildly in the air, driven by her inner power.

Right now, she looked just like a ghost that had crawled straight out of the underworld—blood dripped from the corners of her mouth, making her look seriously creepy. It was Wendy Cao at her most monstrous.

"Now I possess both Fire Demon and warped Demonic Arts—how could pathetic worms like you ever hope to fight me?" Wendy Cao laughed, and it was the kind of wild, manic laugh that made it feel like everything was already decided.

Seeing this, Ivy’s frown deepened. She could definitely sense Wendy Cao’s transformation—and honestly, it was terrifying.

This woman—no, this demon—had reached a whole new level. Beating her was going to be way harder now, but even so, Ivy refused to back down.

"Let me show you the power of the Empress Dowager!"

With that, Wendy Cao charged straight at her. The trees nearby shook from the sheer force of her aura.

With that, Scarlet Blood stopped wasting words and charged straight at them—a wave of putrid stench hit them head-on.

The three men rushed forward to meet her.

Scarlet Blood curled her lip in disdain—clearly, these three were nothing but background extras to her.

"Ah—!" Before anyone could see what move she used, Caleb Miles was sent flying. He frowned, "What the hell is she?" He looked at his arm, which had somehow been slashed, and felt a cold sensation as the cloth wrapped around her face was pulled away. Something icy latched onto his arm, and warm blood was sucked out in an instant.

Lucian Vane frowned, "Damn, she's Blood Clan. Be careful—she kills without a trace and loves to drink blood."

Now Scarlet Blood’s face was fully exposed, the scars clear for all to see. Once she mastered the demonic arts, everything but her eyes was destroyed.

"What beautiful blood!" Scarlet Blood licked the blood from her lips, clearly pleased with Caleb Miles’s flavor.

"What a disgusting face!" Butterfly Rogue said with contempt, his words stabbing deep into Scarlet Blood’s heart.

Enraged, she charged at Butterfly Rogue. Disgusting? Did he know she was once the Blood Clan’s cherished jewel, praised as the most beautiful woman of her people? Disgusting? That word didn’t belong to her!

"Felix, watch out!" Lucian Vane shouted, rushing over. Caleb Miles ignored his own disgust and quickly joined the fight.

Blades and swords clashed—after a few rounds, the three men were already at a disadvantage.

They were completely outmatched by the Blood Clan’s demonic arts.

With a metallic clang, the three fought together. Butterfly Rogue seized a chance and stabbed his sword into her arm—he’d aimed for her heart, but she moved so fast his blade couldn’t keep up.

Scarlet Blood flew into a rage, yanking down the black cloth that wrapped her hair—her red hair glowed eerily in the night.

"Courting death!" Her blood-red eyes and hair showed her fury. In a flash she struck Butterfly Rogue’s chest, sending him crashing into a tree—he fell, coughing blood.

"Felix!" Lucian Vane leapt over, instantly pulling out a medicinal pill and feeding it to him.

"Pff—" The pill was spat out along with blood.

"Felix! Felix!" Lucian Vane cried anxiously, quickly giving him another pill and pressing on his wound to stop the bleeding.

Scarlet Blood watched them coldly—she’d used her demonic arts, and once she did, no one survived.

"Lowly snakemen, do you have any idea how noble my blood is?" Scarlet Blood’s face twisted with rage—clearly, Butterfly Rogue’s sword had made her bleed, and she was furious.

"You hag!" Caleb Miles shouted in anger, swinging his sword as he charged.

Lucian Vane knew that even with all three of them working together, Scarlet Blood was a nightmare to deal with. If one of them rushed in alone, it would be suicide. Seeing Caleb Miles charge, Lucian had no choice but to leap after him, leaving Butterfly Rogue’s wounds behind—he couldn’t just let Caleb die.

But they’d completely underestimated Scarlet Blood’s power. Now that she’d unleashed her demonic arts, she was even stronger than before. Charging in meant being ruthlessly struck down.

"Watch out!" Suddenly, Adrian Night and Ethan Chu leapt in, each catching one of them.

"Ugh..." Lucian Vane and Caleb Miles both coughed up blood.

"What happened?" Adrian Night steadied Lucian Vane and asked anxiously.

"Blood...she’s Blood Clan, and...uses warped Demonic Arts." Lucian Vane struggled to steady his breath, swallowed a medicinal pill, and handed another to Caleb Miles.

Ethan Chu hurried to help Caleb Miles rest against a tree, but then he noticed Butterfly Rogue’s face was deathly pale.

"Felix!" Ethan Chu shouted when he saw him.

"Ugh..." Hearing their voices, Butterfly Rogue forced his eyes open and saw his friends. A faint smile tugged at his lips. "No... I’m fine..."

"Adrian Night, Ethan Chu!" Scarlet Blood sneered, "Looks like I, the Empress Dowager, underestimated you all. I never thought you’d all make it this far."

Lucian Vane and Caleb Miles steadied their breathing and stood tall, while Butterfly Rogue leaned against a tree and slowly got to his feet.

"One is already dead, one can’t fight, and now all the husbands are here," Scarlet Blood said with a twisted smile.

"Who would’ve thought—the proud Blood Clan has become someone else’s slave," Ethan Chu said, his voice full of mockery.

Scarlet Blood’s face froze for a moment, a flash of embarrassment crossing her features. But it vanished quickly. "You’re right, it’s a disgrace to the Blood Clan. So... if I kill all of you, no one will ever know this secret!"

With that, her murderous intent flared. Her fingers clenched tight, and her sharp nails glinted menacingly in the moonlight.

"I’ll send you all to hell!" Scarlet Blood roared, charging at them. Adrian Night and Ethan Chu rushed to meet her, while Lucian Vane and Caleb Miles steadied themselves and joined the fight. Off to the side, Butterfly Rogue took a deep breath and pressed a point on his arm—a pressure point that could briefly control his bleeding.

No hesitation, no holding back—even though his body was battered and his martial arts were nearly gone, he still had his lightness skill. If he could just grab hold of that demon woman, they might have a chance.

Just then, Butterfly Rogue caught a glimpse of a strange smile curling at Scarlet Blood’s lips.

She was definitely preparing some kind of power. Butterfly Rogue, fighting off the weakness from blood loss, stayed alert at the side, looking for a chance to strike.

At that moment, as Scarlet Blood fought the four, Butterfly Rogue used his masterful lightness skill to silently leap behind her and grabbed her tightly.
