Natal Spirit Light
After some conversation, Headmaster Ian Young gifted Grace an Invisibility Talisman.
"This Invisibility Talisman is your welcome gift," said Headmaster Ian Young. "Once its power is activated, not even the Divine Clan's eyes can detect your whereabouts."
"Thank you, Headmaster!" Grace accepted it with both hands.
Headmaster Ian Young really was a wonderful person—a kind and benevolent elder.
"Maya, you don't need to come over these next few days. Spend some quality time with your niece!"
"Yes, Master."
It was already late that day, so Grace spent the night at Maya Summers' place.
The aunt and niece shared many heartfelt conversations.
The next day, Maya Summers gave Grace a flying beast and personally accompanied her out.
They parted reluctantly, and Grace returned home.
After returning to Sigil City, Grace went straight to the Phantom Bureau.
She wasn't sure if he had escaped danger or made it back safely...
But as soon as she arrived, she saw him back in human form, greeting guests at the door.
Thankfully, he was alright.
Seeing Grace staring at him wide-eyed, Mr. Wang asked, "You're here to settle your bill, aren't you?"
"Oh... Right! Time to pay up!" Grace quickly pulled out her silver. "Here's one jin of Supreme Spirit Jade, plus two hundred taels of silver."
Mr. Wang happily accepted the payment.
"So... why did you open a shop here?" Grace asked.
"I like living among humans. I don't care for the demon life—always fighting, no fun at all," Mr. Wang replied.
Grace: "Oh..."
"You won't tell anyone my secret, will you?" he leaned in and asked.
Grace immediately took three big steps back: "No! I promise! Absolutely not!"
Mr. Wang nodded. "Good. Are you satisfied with our service?"
"Very satisfied! Extremely satisfied! I haven't even thanked you for saving my life... If you hadn't broken through the barrier and led them away, I wouldn't have made it back!"
"No need for thanks. Just come back and do more business with me next time."
"Deal! Definitely! Well... I should get going now!"
"Take care, honored guest!"
Grace hurried off.
After returning to the Spirit Alliance, she originally wanted to ask Rina Chu if she knew anything about it.
But when the question reached her lips, she couldn't bring herself to ask.
She'd promised Mr. Wang not to tell, and if Rina Chu didn't know, wouldn't that be the same as spilling his secret?
It wasn't that she was particularly loyal to the Chameleon Turtle—she was just worried he might eat her if he found out...
Honestly, every time she went to see him, she always worried he'd eat her to keep his secret...

With the Kunlun Divine Wood in hand, she finally had everything she needed to refine the Auxiliary Pills for Spirit Master, Sixth Rank.
Grace entered her sanctum, chopped off a piece of the Kunlun Divine Coffin to use as firewood.
Then she took Benny's blood, mixed it with other medicinal herbs, and made dozens of pills to begin the alchemy.
She spent six whole days refining this batch of pills.
After six days, she opened the furnace to find a batch of white pills inside.
Turns out, Benny really was a Flying Demon Drake!
She had to take good care of him—once Benny learned to fly, maybe he could be her flying mount. How cool would that be...
Grace patted her head, picked up a still-warm pill, swallowed it, and sat cross-legged to begin her cultivation.
Above her head, wisps of faint smoke gradually began to gather.
The smoke condensed, forming a shadow.
That was her Natal Spirit Light.
Before reaching the Spirit Lord Realm, one must first condense the Natal Spirit Light.
Humans have human-shaped Spirit Lights.
Beasts have beast-shaped Spirit Lights.
Dragons have dragon-shaped Spirit Lights.
Phoenixes have phoenix-shaped Spirit Lights.
Grace's Spirit Light took the shape of a tree.
Of course, she had no idea herself.
