Vast Cosmic Journey

1/11/2026

Andrew Han’s thoughts churned as he recalled the cosmic hierarchy: both he and Lurian belonged to the Four Great Life Races of the universe—a status so exalted that even the cautious Nether Clan overlord had never feared Mo-Tai Blood. If Lurian could pursue it across hundreds of planetary systems, then surely he, too, had little to fear.

Just hearing Bailey describe it that way sent waves of emotion through Andrew Han’s heart—pride, excitement, and a subtle sense of responsibility mingled together, leaving him almost breathless.

Before encountering Bailey, his understanding of the universe was limited: he knew life existed beyond Earth, but only in vague terms. It was Bailey’s patient explanations that opened his eyes to the true scale—a cosmos teeming with countless lifeforms, ruled by the Four Great Life Races at its summit. This knowledge had reshaped his worldview, forcing him to accept both awe and humility.

The Human Race—his own people, standing at the apex of cosmic life. That realization filled Andrew with a fierce, almost reverent pride.

Honored as one of the Four Great Life Races! The weight of that status pressed upon him—not just pride, but a sense of duty to live up to the name.

"T^T Master, meow, you really have to trust Bailey!" Bailey whimpered, eyes brimming with exaggerated tears, its quirky personality shining through even in moments of anxiety.

Bailey had once resembled a rabbit, but ever since it absorbed Earth's internet, it delighted in mimicking the voices of cats and dogs—sometimes rolling about, sometimes pouting, always adding a touch of comedy to the tension.

Andrew Han exhaled slowly, the burden on his heart easing. "Trust takes time to build," he said softly, knowing that true faith could only grow through shared experience and careful testing.

Bailey wouldn’t deceive him—after all, the interstellar network interface was clearly designed for the Human Race. Even if all this was some elaborate illusion, Andrew still had two powerful pieces of evidence to reassure him. His reasoning remained cautious, always searching for proof before surrendering to hope.

...

First: Lurian, the Starlight-tier Nether Clan overlord sealed in Antarctica, now dead.

Second: the Savage Dragon Behemoth sealed in the Arctic Ocean, its eyes over a kilometer in diameter.

......

Enemies are the most objective judges—especially those who threaten your very existence.

Lurian cared nothing for humanity, viewing humans with utter contempt and cruelty, treating Law Realm cultivators as insignificant ants.

If there were any problem with Mo-Tai Blood, would Lurian have crossed hundreds of planetary systems and come to Earth at all costs?

Even after fifty thousand years of imprisonment, Lurian remained obsessed with Mo-Tai Blood. When global warming caused the seal to loosen, Lurian's first command was for the Netherfiends to use any means necessary to obtain Mo-Tai Blood.

Thinking of all this,

Andrew Han felt completely at ease, believing this risk was worth taking.

"Bailey is right."

"I am of the Human Race. Lurian and the Nether Clan are likewise among the Four Great Life Races. The weakling Lurian I slew never worried that Mo-Tai Blood might pose any threat—so why should I be concerned?"

Though people should not worry excessively about distant troubles, it’s wise to remain cautious about what is near. Prudence is always the best policy.

But even caution needs boundaries—overthinking easily leads to endless anxiety... Andrew’s mind spun with countless thoughts, each one knocking against the next, scrutinized and weighed, until finally everything settled into clarity.

His complicated feelings gradually simplified, growing lighter and more resolute.

If you only want the reward but refuse to pay the price, how could such good fortune ever come your way? Even if luck fell from the sky, it wouldn’t land in your lap for nothing.

"This opportunity—I cannot let it slip away."

Andrew let out a long breath: "If I truly wish to protect those I care about—if I want them to stand tall in this vast universe—I must become strong. Relying on myself alone, or on Earth’s current foundation, is simply impossible! Even my breakthrough to the Starlight-tier depended on Bailey’s patient explanations, one step at a time."

No matter what, I must claim the Mo-Tai Blood!

Andrew cleared his throat and glanced at Bailey, who was rolling in the air and pouting in exaggerated protest. He shook his head and smiled, then strode directly toward the towering Mo-Tai Tower before him.

...

He must move forward.

Solid as molten gold—the Mo-Tai Tower, fifth floor.

He had once reached the fifth floor of the tower, but lacking the strength to continue forward, Andrew could only leave with regret.

Afterward came the deadly battle in Antarctica; his martial arts reached Law Realm Supreme, the Fusion Tier pinnacle, but he never had another chance to attempt the tower. Only now, after returning from the starry sky... In this moment, Andrew quietly gazed at the single drop of Mo-Tai Blood before him.

After months of circling, he had come back here once again.

His soul and consciousness had advanced to the Starlight-tier. His martial realm now stood at Law Realm Supreme, equivalent to the Fusion Tier peak.

"Mo-Tai Blood."

Andrew stepped forward, stopping in front of the pedestal.

A crystalline pedestal held the Mo-Tai Blood aloft, the golden liquid gently spinning, radiating boundless mystery. It was as if the most beautiful thing in the universe stood before him—even a thousand clusters of stars could not compare.
