Rona Muir was feeling completely stifled.
Although Jiro Hirayama had brought out plenty of good things, which were very helpful for Molly Yun's health,
But!
She still hadn't forgiven Jiro Hirayama!
Every time she saw Jiro Hirayama, she remembered that awful morning!
Even though Amy was already dead, that disgusting feeling just wouldn't go away.
So, even though Rona Muir had somewhat softened toward Jiro Hirayama, she still hadn't moved back home and continued to live separately from him.
At first, Jiro Hirayama kept trying to find Rona Muir, but later, after Charles Yin talked to him about something, Jiro seemed to have an epiphany. He stopped pestering Rona and went back to his usual routine.
With things like this, Rona Muir actually felt a little out of sorts.
And then she got mad!
Ugh, Jiro Hirayama, you really are something!
So you just decided not to comfort me anymore, huh?
You’ve fallen out of love with me, haven’t you?
Fine, if you’re ignoring me, I’ll ignore you too!
And so, the two of them stayed stuck in this weird stalemate.
Rona Muir was actually being a little stubborn about it. She was already mad about the whole thing and just wanted Jiro Hirayama to coax her, maybe change his ways a bit, stop being such a stubborn guy.
But Jiro Hirayama, that guy, just stopped coaxing her out of nowhere!
That left Rona Muir hanging, and in her anger, she kept up the separation.
Professor Muir and Mrs. Muir were pretty helpless too. When it came to their daughter's marriage, they didn’t want to interfere too much, so they just gave Rona a few gentle reminders.
But Rona Muir is someone who makes up her own mind, so of course she didn’t listen.
