Are You Furious Yet

Lily Evans grinned slyly, her tone devilishly clever: "Who said I was going to sell those things here? Such exquisite goods—if I ship them overseas, the price will be at least twenty times higher! See, Princess Mira just handed me these treasures herself, so I don’t even have to scour the city for new novelties."

Bella Bell’s eyes went wide as eggs: "Wow, Lily, you had this all planned from the start!"

Bella Bell raised her brows with pride: "My master is a genius at scheming—Princess Mira never stands a chance against her!"

Mark Hunter, overhearing from the side, couldn’t help but burst out laughing: "Princess Mira probably thinks she scored a huge bargain and finally outshone Princess Lily Hayes! Just wait until she learns the truth—her face will turn green! I can’t wait to see her reaction!"

"Me too!"

"Me too!"

The group burst into laughter at Mark Hunter's words, unable to contain their amusement.

After spending some time in the shop, Lily Evans took a carriage with Bella Bell, heading back to the Prince of Qin's Manor.

"Bella, Lola has almost recovered from her injuries. Starting tomorrow, Lola will be my personal bodyguard, and you’ll continue managing Eight Treasures Bistro. Now that everyone knows we’ve bought spices, business can resume as usual. But we need to raise the prices of all our dishes," Lily instructed.

"How much should we raise the prices?" Bella Bell asked. "Will it be too expensive and drive away customers?"

Lily Evans shook her head, "Expensive is exactly what we want. Eight Treasures Bistro is positioned as the top-tier restaurant—the higher the price, the more upscale we appear. Plus, everyone in the Capital knows how costly those spices are. Our dishes use such rare ingredients, so it’s only right to raise the prices. Just compare with the price hikes at other restaurants and calculate a reasonable new price range."

Bella Bell nodded, "Yes, Master. With the price increase, our profits will soar again! And with the new spice shop opening, your business network is expanding—profits will be even richer!"

Lily Evans smiled and nodded. Unknowingly, her business had grown so vast that her annual profits were nearly equal to the tax revenue of a wealthy province in the Jin Dynasty.

Suddenly, Lily Evans recalled the treasury Alexander Hayes had shown her before, and the gold mine he’d mentioned.

Back then, when Alexander Hayes first told Lily about the gold mine, the amount of gold produced seemed like an astronomical figure, almost unreachable for her.

But now, thanks to Lily Evans’s careful planning, Mark Hunter had opened herbal shops all over the country. Those shops had seamlessly transformed into spice distribution points nationwide.

In just a few short years, Lily Evans's business network spanned the entire nation, and her earnings had quietly surpassed even the profits of Alexander Hayes's gold mine!

Gold mines yield less and less over time—one day, they’ll be exhausted. But Lily believed that with her wisdom and business acumen, her enterprises would only keep growing, and her wealth would only multiply!

One day, she would be as rich as a nation, the undisputed number one tycoon of the Jin Dynasty!

She was truly a living money tree, a walking treasure basin!

Lily Evans’s carriage first stopped at Eight Treasures Bistro to drop off Bella Bell. Passing by Heart Lotus Pavilion, she spotted Princess Mira standing triumphantly at the entrance. The moment Princess Mira saw Lily’s carriage, she rushed over, hands on her hips, and declared with a haughty grin, “Lily Evans, at today’s auction, I outbid you and stole the spotlight. Are you fuming yet?”
