"May I ask the esteemed masters of the Lama Order, you have unjustly detained our Lanworth Patriarch for two days. This cannot be brushed aside with just a few words."

I looked at the Underworld Denizens beside me, surprised. I was sitting in a chair on the plaza. Although Master Neil had explained that I was only temporarily detained because I carried Yinchou's aura, the Underworld Denizens were still relentless. What shocked me most was that their power had undergone a qualitative leap—something nearly impossible before.

On second thought, it must be because the Four Sacred Realm has now directly descended into the world of the living. When I left a while ago, my mother told me that the holy spirits can now freely appear in the mortal world, unaffected by the previous laws that governed the connection between realms. Their power can reach believers to the fullest extent.

Master Neil sat with a group of lamas in front of us, seemingly meditating. He paid no attention to Charles Wang, who stood before us—the Hades Circle agent in this city. I'd looked into the Hades Circle before, but it was far too complicated, with countless branches and offshoots. Even after becoming the Lanworth Patriarch, I never bothered to learn it all. Just seeing the densely packed names and split-off families in the genealogy made my head ache.

"Let it go, Brother Charles Wang."

Charles Wang looked to be in his forties, full of fiery energy. He kept provoking the lamas across from him.

Lanworth Patriarch, this is no trivial matter. If word gets out, where will the Underworld Denizens put their pride? This isn't a small issue. I've already reported the situation, and the other clan leaders have said we absolutely cannot compromise.

At this moment, Master Neil's expression grew heavy. I wasn't sure why things had suddenly escalated into such a major issue.

"It shouldn't be that serious..."

Before I could finish, Charles Wang shook his head.
