Lena Wei’s Resolve (Part 2)

1/18/2026

Ian Stone stepped forward, looking down at Victor Chu and Harold Wan from above, and said calmly, "Do you still want to teach me a lesson?"

"We wouldn’t dare!"

Victor Chu staggered to his feet and immediately admitted defeat.

Even with a mid-stage and a late-stage Origin Core expert working together, they were instantly defeated by him. It showed just how terrifying his strength was. Even if the Chu Family used all their hidden cards, they still wouldn’t be his match.

Victor Chu said directly, "Young Master, it was my poor discipline that led to this offense. To make amends, my Chu Family is willing to grant you three conditions. As long as it’s within our power, we will not shirk from any of them!"

Hearing this, Ian just smiled indifferently. The other party was smart and had lowered his posture so much—if it were someone else, it would really be hard to keep pressing them.

"Since that’s the case, I won’t be polite. No need for three conditions—just agree to one, and I’ll let bygones be bygones!"

"Please, state your condition!"

"Hand over half of all your Chu Family’s assets to me. Remember, that’s half of everything—if you hide even a tael of silver, I’ll come to settle the score. Can you do it?"

"We can!" Victor Chu nodded, his face twisted in pain. He loved the Chu Tyrant dearly, but now he wanted nothing more than to give him a good beating.

A short while later.

The Chu Family group left.

About half an hour later, a large number of Chu Family warriors carried chest after chest of valuables into the restaurant.

"Young Master, please take a look. This is a list of all the Chu Family’s industries and their estimated value!"

Victor Chu appeared again, handing over an account book.

"Forget it! I trust you’re not the type to destroy your clan for petty gain. From now on, our grudges are wiped clean!" Ian Stone waved impatiently.

"Thank you, Young Master!" Victor Chu said gratefully. "By the way, Young Master, I’ve prepared a small banquet at my estate. Would you do us the honor?"

"No! Not interested. Just get lost!"

Hearing this, disappointment flashed across Victor Chu’s face, but he could only leave dejectedly.

"Evan Chu, can I ask you for a favor?"

At that moment, Lena Wei stepped in front of Ian Stone, her face pleading and looking truly pitiful.

"Go ahead, say it."

Lena bit her lip and said, "After I escaped the Wei Family wounded, I collapsed in the mountains and was rescued by a hunter couple. Thanks to their care, I recovered, but when the Chu Tyrant abducted me, he injured both of them. I want to ask you to save them. If you do, I’ll stay by your side as a slave or maid in exchange!"

Ian Stone was a seasoned transmigrator—Lena’s little scheme couldn’t possibly escape his eyes. He chuckled, "Sure!"

Lena was stunned, not expecting Ian to agree so readily. She quickly bowed, "Thank you, Young Master!"

With a casual wave, Ian swept all the Chu Family’s delivered wealth into his Storage Ring, then had Lena lead the way to rescue the hunter couple.

Two hours later.

A carriage stopped in front of a dilapidated house in a small mountain village.

"Master, we’ve arrived," Conrad Wu, who was driving, reminded.

"Let’s go."

Ian said a few words to Lena Wei inside the carriage, then stepped out first.

"Uncle Stone! Aunt Stone!"

Lena called out softly, then rushed out of the carriage and straight through the half-broken earthen gate.

Ian followed at a leisurely pace, stepping inside after her.

Inside the low house, the light was dim, but a pale-faced village couple could be seen lying unconscious on the bed. Lena was sobbing by the bedside, blaming herself over and over.

A man and a woman from the village stood nearby.

They were probably here to help care for the hunter couple.

"Who are you?"

When Ian walked in, the two villagers eyed him warily, visibly tense. One of them even instinctively grabbed a wooden stick by the wall.

"Uncle Tiger, Aunt Tiger, this Young Master Chu isn’t a bad person—he’s the one who saved me!" Lena explained, wiping away her tears.

"Greetings, Young Master!"

The villagers relaxed and awkwardly bowed to Ian.

"No need to be so formal!"

Ian waved them off, then walked to the bedside. The hunter couple’s injuries were serious—several broken ribs, and minor shattering of their internal organs.

Their wounds had been treated, but the methods were crude.

With the rich spiritual energy of this world, their injuries looked severe, but with a month or two of rest, they would recover.

Ian didn’t care about exposing his abilities. He sent two streams of Radiance of Life into their bodies, and in just a few breaths, their wounds healed and they woke up.

Seeing this, the villagers were dumbfounded, and their eyes toward Ian filled with gratitude and awe.

As for Lena, even though she knew Ian was strong, she was still deeply shaken seeing this miracle.

Half an hour later.

With the hunter couple and villagers reluctantly seeing them off, Ian and his group left the small mountain village.

Night fell.

The three of them checked into an inn in town.

After dinner, Ian had no interest in wandering the town. He went straight back to his room to play the shut-in.

Near midnight, someone knocked on his door.

"Why are you here?"

Ian opened the door and let Lena in. She’d changed into a blue dress, clearly just bathed, her long hair damp and fragrant.

"Young Master, thank you for saving Uncle Stone and Aunt Stone," Lena said softly, head lowered.

"Didn’t you already say that before?" Ian looked at Lena playfully, wondering what trick she’d try next. He could pretty much guess she wanted a King-Grade Technique.

"Young Master... I—"

Suddenly, Lena lifted her head, eyes blazing as she stared at him. A blush spread across her beautiful cheeks.

"What do you want to say?" Ian asked.

Lena didn’t reply. Instead, she slipped off her dress—revealing that she wore nothing else beneath. Suddenly, her alluring body was laid bare before him.

Honestly, Lena’s figure was just right in all the right places—the exact type he liked.

"So? Are you trying to seduce me?" Ian’s gaze roamed over her, a playful smile on his face.

Under Ian’s gaze, Lena’s blush deepened, but she gathered her courage and said, "Young Master, I have nothing left but this body. I’m willing to use it to repay you!"

"Accept it? Or accept it?" a voice echoed in Ian’s mind. He knew Lena was doing this to get a King-Grade Technique from him. Since it was a deal, why overthink it?

So Ian stepped forward, pulled Lena into his arms, lifted her chin, and kissed her hard on those soft lips...
