What Kind of Trick Is This

Simon Yu took off his clothes, leaving only a white inner robe. He shook his ruined outer robe in front of himself a few times, clicking his tongue, "Tsk, that crazy violent maniac—look at how he tore up my clothes. Tsk tsk."

Muttering to himself, Simon Yu tossed the torn outer robe onto the clothes rack. Then he went to the wardrobe, opened it, and was struck by indecision: "Which one should I wear? This one... is it too formal? That one... doesn't match my hairpin. Tsk, what a headache..."

Simon Yu turned around and his face turned green!

That crazy violent maniac was charging straight at him, full of fury.

Sean Hayes strode over to Simon Yu, grabbed his wrist, and started dragging him out without explanation: "Come on, hurry up, you need to come with me!"

"Hey, what are you doing? Are you insane? Let go of me!" Simon Yu struggled desperately.

"You're a doctor—I need you to save someone's life! If we're late, it'll be a double tragedy!" Sean Hayes's face was grim as he continued to drag Simon Yu outside.

"Oh my god, I'm not even wearing my outer robe!" Simon Yu was about to lose his temper thanks to Sean Hayes.

Sean Hayes turned and saw that Simon Yu really was only wearing his inner robe, with no outer garment.

Sean Hayes grabbed a robe from the wardrobe, shook it out, wrapped it around Simon Yu, and dragged him out like a dead dog.

"Let me at least put on my clothes properly!" Simon Yu clung desperately to the robe.

"Forget it! You're a man, don't be so fussy. It's not like your butt's showing—saving lives is more important!" Sean Hayes didn't even look back.

Simon Yu fumed inwardly: You might not care about dignity, but Young Master does!

The Hayes Family Shadow Guard was shocked for the umpteenth time today, watching as Sean Hayes strong-armed the disheveled Simon Yu. Everyone was dumbfounded: Didn't Commander Hayes and Young Master Simon just have a moment together? How come they're at it again so soon? Tsk tsk, he really must've been holding back for ages!

So, under the gaze of everyone present, the handsome and elegant Young Master Simon was forcefully dragged into the house by Commander Hayes, who slammed the door shut, leaving the Shadow Guards outside to let their imaginations run wild.

Inside, Sean Hayes hauled Simon Yu to the bedside, finally letting go. He threw himself onto the bed, anxious: "Mrs. Penny, Mrs. Penny, are you alright? I've brought the doctor to save you and the child!"

Mrs. Penny peeked out from under the covers, looking weak and barely able to speak: "Just leave me alone... Why go to all this trouble..."

"I don't care! I did this, so I'll take responsibility!" Sean Hayes firmly patted Mrs. Penny's hand, then strode over to Simon Yu, knelt before him, and pleaded, "Young Master Simon, please save my woman and child. I'll owe you for life—next life, I'll be your ox or horse if I have to!"

Simon Yu looked down at Sean Hayes, who was kneeling: "She drank the abortion medicine. As long as you don't interfere, the mother will be fine."

Sean Hayes looked up at Simon Yu, voice trembling: "Can you save both of them?"

Simon Yu snorted. "I'm the Medical Sage's personal disciple—this little thing is nothing. But you and I are strangers, so why should I help you?"

Sean Hayes paused, then suddenly grabbed Simon Yu by the collar, his face deadly serious: "You barged in here half-dressed with me just now—everyone saw it! If you refuse to help, I'll spread rumors that you were drooling over my good looks, used your fancy medicine to drug me, and tried to have your way with me!"
