The Chaotic World Here

This was still no challenge for Joe Di. With a casual wave, he produced four Five Direction Banners. Though one was missing from the set, the combination of these four banners and his mastery of array techniques was enough to reveal this place.

On the first day, after inscribing countless law banners, Joe Di placed the first Five Direction Banner. Over the next three days, he set down one Five Element Banner each day. When the fourth banner was in place, a blurry shadow appeared in the void before him.

Joe Di immediately sensed traces of human handiwork—this was definitely a concealment array set up by Ji Fengyu. Relief washed over him; his only worry was that Ji Fengyu might have deceived him, but as long as this place really existed, it was enough.

He summoned the Azure Veil Blade, channeling his Dao resonance into it. The Bleakwind Blade swept through the void, unleashing a killing intent as he struck down.

Boom! The blade curtain slammed into the blurry shadow in the void, divine essence exploded, and Joe Di was sent flying backward by the backlash.

Just one strike, and Joe Di's heart sank. If this hidden chaos world was truly so formidable, he feared he might not be able to open it.

His Bleakwind Blade was his most powerful technique for tearing open the void and realms. If even this could not break through, no other blade would stand a chance.

He had come all the way to the edge of this sealed chaos world; how could Joe Di simply leave now? Besides, his Dao resonance was weak, his physical body exhausted, and his vitality dangerously depleted—he desperately needed a place like this to recover.

Joe Di summoned the Creation Brush and, in a single breath, wrote out 'Life and Death, Ten Law Realms.'

With each word he wrote, waves of violent energy rippled through the void. The Genesis Opening Incantation erupted in Dao resonance, and since Joe Di wrote 'Life and Death, Ten Law Realms' in one breath, the momentum was vast and awe-inspiring. Fortunately, there were no other cultivators nearby—if anyone had witnessed this overwhelming Dao resonance, it would have surely drawn their attention.

To Joe Di's disappointment, as the Dao resonance of the Genesis Opening Incantation faded, there was not the slightest sign that the chaos world before him had opened.

Joe Di sighed, realizing that he might truly be unable to open this chaos world. Jade Vaughn was indeed cunning; he must have known that even if the jade slip hadn't shattered, Joe Di would still be unable to enter. In the end, whatever was inside this chaos world was no longer of much use to Jade Vaughn, but he had never intended for anyone else to come here.

Since he couldn't enter this world, he had to leave as soon as possible and find a safe place to recover. As for that void vortex, Joe Di knew he couldn't approach it now. Jade Vaughn was most likely guarding it, and given his covetousness for Joe Di's possessions, it would be strange if he ever gave up.

Joe Di did not continue using Lawstride, but instead summoned his Supreme Artifact spaceship. He planned to have Bolt pilot the ship away while he focused on healing.

Just as Joe Di summoned the spaceship, he paused again. Jade Vaughn was indeed stronger than him, but that strength lay mostly in Twilight Dominion and sheer cultivation power; their Dao resonance was not so different. In a chaos world like this, cultivation alone wasn't enough—the Dao was what truly mattered.

If that was the case, how could Jade Vaughn open this chaos world while he could not?

Jade Vaughn's main advantage was Twilight Dominion, or rather, mastery over the laws of time. Realizing this, Joe Di immediately raised his hand and traced out a profound hand seal.

The profound hand seal quickly transformed, as if countless invisible threads—undetectable by divine sense or the naked eye—were weaving together at incredible speed, forming one after another into Dao resonance of the ages.

In the next moment, the cosmic laws of this section of the void came to an abrupt halt; everything accelerated wildly. What once took the blink of an eye now seemed to span a century.

A single loom, weaving the years away in a flash!

A deeper understanding dawned in Joe Di's heart: the loom was like shears, and time itself was a blade. Countless threads wove into a net of ages, only to vanish swiftly beneath the shears of time.

It was as if Joe Di had grabbed a door handle; everything in the void before him became clear. With a casual motion, he tore open a seam, and vast heaven and earth essence surged forth. Stepping forward, Joe Di entered this hidden chaotic world.

Endless heaven and earth essence swept over him, mingled with traces of Genesis aura and primordial chaos essence.

Even without doing anything, these boundless essences and auras were already nourishing and repairing Joe Di's body and vitality.

Yet Joe Di did not open his eyes, remaining motionless. He understood now: it wasn't that this chaotic universe required time-based divine arts to open, but rather that Jade Vaughn, the first to arrive, had used Twilight Dominion to unlock it. To open it again, one had to use a similar cosmic law technique.

Thankfully, he had recently learned the Loom of Ages. Otherwise, he truly would have missed his chance with this place.

After standing with his eyes closed for a long time, Joe Di finally opened them. Seeing everything before him, he could only think: Thank goodness I made it in.

It truly was a chaotic world. Not far away, he even spotted a Serenity Chaos Fruit—an actual Genesis Dao Fruit. The Serenity Chaos Fruit could be refined into Serenity Pills.

Such Dao pills as Serenity Pills could hardly be called merely precious. At least in all his years of cultivation, Joe Di had never tasted one—not for lack of desire, but simply because they were impossible to obtain.

Clearly, the chaotic Dao fruits here were not limited to just the Serenity Chaos Fruit; in the distance, there were even more Genesis Dao Fruits. He had pitied himself for frantically trading his treasures for Genesis Dao Fruits before, but in this place, not only Genesis Dao Fruits, even Prime Dao Fruits were abundant.

In the distance, Joe Di saw a top-grade divine spirit vein half exposed, and as for spirit crystals, they were everywhere.

This chaotic world was clearly boundless; even Joe Di's divine sense could only scan a corner of it.

Joe Di drew in a sharp breath. This place...

He considered himself well-traveled and had seen many treasures, but never so many as this.

Joe Di's first thought was to refine this chaotic world and merge it into his Ninth World.

But Joe Di immediately wondered: why hadn't Jade Vaughn refined this place? Was he truly noble, unwilling to refine such a perfect chaotic world? Joe Di soon realized the truth: Jade Vaughn wasn't unwilling—he wanted to find the Vanished One and break through to the Creation Realm here.

Once Jade Vaughn used the Vanished One to break through to the Creation Realm here, he would surely refine this world immediately.

Joe Di shook his head in self-mockery, thinking of the Extinct Shell Heavenly Sea he and Lord Voidbreaker had destroyed. He disliked Extinct Shell Heavenly Sea because it always refined other people's planets.

Now, he himself wanted to refine a world. Although this world was different from the Xuanhuang Realm Extinct Shell Heavenly Sea refined—there were no cultivators here—the outcome was essentially the same.

Joe Di did not know what universe this was. Of all the inhabited planets he had visited here, only the Tianwu Realm had humans. Why did humans in the Tianwu Realm struggle so much, relying on him to break open the Vanished One and perfect the realm's Dao resonance?

It was because all the vitality and resources of this universe, even primordial chaos essence, were locked in this chaotic world. Only by breaking open this world and letting endless vitality flow into the universe could it gradually align with the Five Elements Universe. Many planets could become inhabited, and humans would thrive.

If he did not refine this chaotic world, after countless years, it would eventually split on its own, releasing heaven and earth essence to the universe, allowing inhabited planets to gain vitality. But if he refined it, even if there were humans, they would struggle just like those in the Tianwu Realm.
