Molly Yun thought for a moment and decided to just do one more good deed.
After all, that person is really pitiful.
She had gone through that same process herself and deeply understood that feeling of helplessness.
Now, he's running away from his family, and there's not a single familiar face by his side.
Treating her like his last lifeline is totally understandable.
Oh well, since I’ve already saved him twice, I can’t just watch him self-destruct. If his health is bad, he should really take care of himself!
“Got it, I’ll head back now.” Molly Yun hung up and said to Cecilia Gu, “We have to hurry back. Mr. Adrian is trying to get discharged again! Last time he left the hospital, something happened. Who knows what it’ll be this time.”
“Alright, we don’t have anything else to do anyway. Let’s just take the earliest flight back.” Cecilia Gu nodded. “That guy’s health is terrible. If he keeps ignoring it, he’ll regret it in the future.”
The two sisters are just too kind-hearted.
The two of them headed straight back to Newport City. They sent the gifts from the Yun Family to their in-laws, and then went directly to the hospital.
As soon as they entered the ward, they heard Mr. Adrian patiently arguing with the nurse that he was already healthy.
The nurse waved her hand impatiently, “If you can get your attending doctor to sign off, fine. Otherwise, no way! If you sneak out again, next time you’re here, I’ll jab you with extra needles just for fun!”
Even with the nurse’s threats, Mr. Adrian didn’t get angry. “I really do have something important to do.”
“Nothing’s more important than getting better,” the nurse insisted stubbornly.
“She’s right,” Molly Yun walked over to him. “Nothing’s more important than your health.”
Mr. Adrian looked at her helplessly. “Ah, did I trouble you too? Sorry about that!”
Cecilia Gu stood with her arms crossed, looking at Mr. Adrian. “You really know how to make a fuss! What’s so urgent that you absolutely have to leave the hospital? Tell me, I’ll handle it for you. Is it picking someone up? Or negotiating a deal?”
“Neither,” Mr. Adrian replied with a good-natured smile. “I bought a Garden Villa, and it’s officially ready for move-in today. As the owner, I have to go pick up the keys, right? I asked them to courier it to me, but they said I have to go in person. See? There’s really nothing I can do!”
Cecilia Gu couldn’t really blame him for that.
Some places really do have the weirdest rules these days.
