The Infernal Overlord, riled up by the Monkey King’s taunts, grew even more frustrated and burst out, “Agh—wild monkey! Stop boasting like you’re some deity! Back in the Eight Desolations era, I killed anyone who stood in my way—humans, gods, you name it! And you, a mere wild monkey demon, dare to challenge me, the Infernal Overlord? You’re asking for it!”
“Yahahaha! So you’re some ancient monster bird from the Eight Desolations era, huh? I bet you’re related to that nine-headed freak. You bird demons are always stirring up trouble—such a pain! But you know what? Smacking demons is my favorite pastime. So, monster, today’s your unlucky day! I, old Sun, am about to send you off!” The Monkey King cackled, unfazed, and with a flick of his golden staff—“Whoosh!”—it flashed with dazzling golden light, growing larger and scattering the thick demonic miasma all around.
“Uh—wild monkey, what kind of treasure is that?!” The Infernal Overlord was startled, realizing the Monkey King’s golden staff was no ordinary weapon, but a formidable magical artifact.
“Heh—this is the Ruyi Jingu Bang, the Compliant Golden Staff, gifted to me by the Dragon King of the Eastern Sea! It’s perfect for smacking birds like you. Can’t believe you don’t recognize it—guess you really are begging for a beating! Hahaha, come on, come on, take my first strike!” The Monkey King mocked the Infernal Overlord, then swung his staff straight at its head.
“Whoosh—” The golden staff whipped up a fierce, unstoppable gust of wind, sweeping toward the Infernal Overlord’s ugly head with incredible force!
But the Infernal Overlord wasn’t a complete fool. It just hadn’t expected the Monkey King to attack so suddenly—and with a deadly move! It quickly rolled aside, barely dodging the staff’s tip. But the staff moved so fast that its left wing still got grazed by the violent gust, making it screech in pain, “Aghhh—!”
“You wild monkey, how dare you ambush me! You think I’m easy prey? Watch me unleash my own magical weapon!” The Infernal Overlord, battered by the Monkey King’s strike, shrieked and spread its black wings—“Swish!”—leaping into the air. Its red eyes flashed as it summoned demonic power, and layers of black-and-red mist began to spread in all directions, shrouding the world in a hazy, hellish fog.
“Boom!! Whoosh—whoosh—whoosh—”
Suddenly, the giant fire pit on the ground exploded, and fiery magma surged upward, twisting into a blazing infernal tornado that shot into the sky before crashing down again. The swirling black-and-red energy gathered around the Infernal Overlord, whose body absorbed the hellish power like a massive sponge.
As the black-and-red demonic energy flooded into its body, the Infernal Overlord began to swell like a balloon. Its organs mutated and split at an incredible rate, growing larger, thicker, and more grotesque by the second!
“Boom—”
When the Infernal Overlord’s body had swelled to a towering seven or eight meters, two more heads suddenly sprouted, and four extra arms burst out around its torso. Now it had three blue-faced, tusked heads and six arms, swinging menacingly—a terrifying demon god!
Transformed, the Infernal Overlord shook its massive body—“Boom—”—and six sinister weapons appeared in its six hands, each billowing with demonic smoke. It dove toward the ground like a monstrous spider, charging at the Monkey King and hacking, slashing, stabbing, and thrusting with all six weapons!
Seeing the fierce attack, the Monkey King twisted and leapt, instantly teleporting more than ten meters away, easily dodging the assault. He laughed, “Oh! Haha, so the big monster bird can do the three heads and six arms trick! You’ve mastered the Primordial Spirit clone technique, huh? Not bad! That just makes it more fun—old Sun hasn’t had a real workout in ages. You’ve got three heads and six arms, but I’ve got way more! Let’s play!”
With that, the Monkey King launched himself into the air on his Somersault Cloud—“Whoosh!”—moving at incredible speed. He shouted, “Universal Clone—Transform!”
“Boom!!” A dazzling golden light burst from his body, and in an instant, a huge army of identical Monkey Kings appeared in the sky, each wielding a Ruyi Jingu Bang. Their numbers could form a whole Monkey King army, and together they swung their golden staffs, unleashing blinding light and roaring winds—their power was overwhelming.
“Take this, monster!”—no one knew which Monkey King shouted, but all of them rushed at the three-headed, six-armed Infernal Overlord, smashing their staffs down on it in a relentless barrage that not even gods or Buddhas could withstand!
“Roar—roar—” The Infernal Overlord hadn’t expected the Monkey King to be even more outrageous, creating so many clones! It was helpless—there was no way it could make that many copies of itself. The Monkey King army’s staffs rained down everywhere, making dodging impossible. All it could do was roar in anger and unleash its strongest demonic power, bracing itself for the onslaught.

Seeing itself at a crushing disadvantage, the Infernal Overlord panicked, leaping backward and channeling all its fiercest demonic power. Its body swelled again, then it opened its bloody maw—“Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!”—and spewed a dazzling inferno at the pursuing Monkey Kings.
“Crackle—crackle!” Explosions rang out as golden light flashed across the sky. The flames raged, and the Monkey King army vanished in an instant, relieving the Infernal Overlord, who thought it had burned up all the clones!
“Heh, just a bunch of monkey hairs! I’ve got plenty more. You dumb bird, playing with fire against old Sun? You’re asking for destruction!” The Monkey King suddenly appeared behind the Infernal Overlord, sneering as he flicked his dazzling golden staff.
“Whoosh—” The Ruyi Jingu Bang instantly grew larger in midair and smashed into the Infernal Overlord’s head—“Bang—bang—”—with two explosive cracks, its cloned heads burst apart like overripe watermelons!
“Aaghhh—!” The Infernal Overlord let out a deafening scream, plummeting from the sky!
“Die, monster!” The Monkey King wasn’t letting up. With a cold snort and a wave, the Ruyi Jingu Bang flew back into his hand. He flipped through the air on his Somersault Cloud, catching up to the falling Infernal Overlord, and thrust the staff hard—“Thud!”—right into its heart!
“Awoo—awoo—” The Infernal Overlord howled again, blood gushing from its heart and turning into black-and-red demonic mist. But the golden light from the Ruyi Jingu Bang instantly dispersed it, stopping the energy from reforming!
“Boom—” The Infernal Overlord gave a final, ugly wail as its body crashed into the ground like a cannonball, kicking up a cloud of dust. It struggled in the pit, its black wings flapping weakly, then let out one last dying roar. The black-and-red demonic energy billowed out uncontrollably, dissipating into the wind—and with that, it moved no more.
