Aliens form colonies much like bees, ruled by a single queen who controls everything. Biologically, all Aliens could be considered female—or really, they don’t have a gender at all, since they don’t reproduce sexually. In a bee colony, there’s only one queen, who releases a suppressant so none of the worker bees can mature sexually. Aliens use the same principle, so each hive has only one Alien Queen.
But what if the queen dies unexpectedly? Or if an Alien ends up too far away from her? Then, just like a bee colony that’s lost its queen, that Alien will break through its limits and develop into a new Alien Queen. So, except for the first movie’s lonely Alien with a short shelf life, every sequel has to have a queen.
And if there’s no other Alien hive anywhere in a big enough area, the Alien Queen will naturally evolve even further, breaking through the queen stage and becoming an Alien Sovereign. (Source: The Book of Alien—totally unofficial lore, just for fun.)
It’s hard to say if the Alien in front of us has reached the Sovereign level, but it’s definitely way stronger than your average queen. Whether it’s Alien 2 or Alien vs. Predator 1, Alien Queens usually come up short against steel machinery. Especially in the big battle series—a thick steel cable is enough to drag one into the deep sea.
But clearly, the one in front of us is no weakling!
In the southern suburbs of Jiping City, the Chosen Ones and the Alien Queen were locked in a life-or-death battle, and the whole abandoned factory district was caught in the chaos. Lu Yide, who couldn’t get involved, scrambled and crawled to safety before finally turning back with wide eyes—his heart pounding like it was about to leap out of his throat.
Under the glow of dark red firelight, Jill Young and the Alien Queen were locked in close combat in the factory. With nimble leaps and acrobatics, Jill’s Volcano Dual Pistols fired nonstop—each scorching bullet packed enough punch to slip through cracks in the armor and hit the few exposed patches of skin. The Alien’s skin was tough, so the wounds weren’t serious, but the pain still made the Alien roar.
Jill landed, did a big one-handed flip, and dodged the Alien Queen’s massive claw by a hair’s breadth. Bam! The claw missed, smashing cracks into the concrete. At the same time, Jill spun around, switching to her big gun, blasting away with large-caliber rounds. The Alien Queen was huge, but surprisingly agile—she twisted her body and blocked the shots with her armor.
Sparks flew everywhere. The Alien Queen growled low, but her armor barely showed a scratch. Turns out, even this big gun couldn’t break through her defense!
But Jill already knew this—she wasn’t shooting to hurt, just to keep the Alien Queen busy. After all, she wasn’t fighting alone.
Jasper Xiao leapt in from the other side, wielding a hammer that glowed with white light. "Hyaa!" Jasper’s body traced an arc through the air, and he brought his heavy hammer down hard on the Alien Queen’s head.
Bang! The impact wasn’t all that loud, so Jasper’s blow wasn’t super strong. But the Alien Queen’s head still jerked down, and she let out a roar of pain.
"Huh?" Jill Young exclaimed. "Looks like your attack actually works!"
Jasper landed, staying alert as he replied, "Of course! My Holy Light can hit it right on the—oh crap!" He didn’t even finish before a black shadow shot out like lightning—the Alien Queen’s tail. It was faster than a striking viper, and Jasper couldn’t dodge it completely!
At the crucial moment, Jasper flashed his silver shield, blocking the attack with a round Captain America’s Shield—bam! He was sent flying like a baseball, crashing through a window and into a factory building.
The Alien Queen dropped to all fours, charging at the factory like a leopard about to pounce. But a slim figure darted in—a blur—slipping under its head in a flash. Before the Alien Queen could react, Jill Young swung her big gun like a hundred-kilo warhammer and slammed it into the queen’s head.
Bang! The huge crash only made the Alien Queen stumble, like someone getting hit in the face with a soccer ball, but she wasn’t hurt at all. Still, Jill managed to keep the queen’s attention, and in just a moment, Jasper burst back out—shield in one hand, hammer in the other, looking none the worse for wear.
"That shield looks kinda familiar!" Jill yelled, rolling under the Alien Queen’s belly and firing at her stomach.
"My buddy gave it to me!" Jasper shouted, charging with his shield and hammer, getting knocked back over and over but holding up thanks to the shield’s quality. "Steve Rogers—back in the first world I visited, we were anti-*** comrades!"
"Captain America again?" Jill dodged the dripping green blood, switched to a new weapon—an automatic rocket launcher—hoisted it onto her shoulder, and aimed at the Alien. She still had time to chat: "Ever heard of a guy called Old Soldier?" She pulled the trigger, and six rockets fired one after another, blasting the Alien Queen.
Amid the explosions, the Alien Queen couldn’t help but retreat step by step, roaring nonstop. But in the next instant, her sharp tail pierced through the sea of fire, stabbing straight ahead.
"Why is it always me?!" Jasper was sent flying again, slamming his back against the wall and sliding down to the floor. Rubbing his aching head, he yelled, "We’ve got veterans everywhere—I have no idea who you mean! And why does it keep targeting me?"
"Because your damn DPS is too high!" Jill Young yelled back, annoyed. She was blasting and smashing away, but her actual damage might not even match Jasper’s hammer. Damn it, she’d always been the DPS—how could she let a paladin show her up? Forget reloading, Jill just yanked missiles out of her Pocket Vault and started chucking them at the Alien like darts.

While throwing missiles and charging forward, Jill leapt high through the fiery explosions, swinging the rocket launcher itself down like a warhammer onto the Alien Queen.
The sneak attack landed squarely on the Alien’s head, but with a loud crack, the rocket launcher shattered into flying pieces. The Alien Queen wasn’t really hurt. She took the chance to swipe at Jill—a phantom-like claw slashed at her. Jill spun in midair and kicked the Alien’s palm with a move like a dragon’s tail whip.
In the next instant, Jill was sent flying, crashing through a third-story window of a small building.
"Damn it!" Inside the building, Jill landed steadily, unharmed, but her face showed she was seriously ticked off. "It’s that damn weight thing again!" In that last clash, her dragon tail whip was just as strong as the Alien Queen’s claw, but she still got knocked flying. It was all about size and weight.
In the world of classical physics, being strong doesn’t mean you can do everything. For example, an adult can throw a baseball through the air, but not a one-ton boulder. Even if you’re strong enough to lift the boulder and jump with it, if you try to push it midair, the rock won’t fly—you will.
In comics, martial arts masters always strike with style, cleaving mountains with a flourish. But if you look at old kung fu movies, the experts always tuck in their abs and lift their legs when slashing in midair. Same goes for runners—no matter how strong you are, you can’t accelerate much at the start, because the friction of your shoe soles sets the limit. You could pull mountains, but you can’t beat that acceleration cap. The stronger you are, the higher your top speed—simple as that.
That’s the basic rule of physics—an iron law you just can’t break.
Who knows if things change once you get powers like Holy Light or inner strength, but for Jill Young, who only trains Dragon Elephant Technique, size and weight are still key in the world of physics.
"If I weighed twice as much, I’d knock you into next week!" Most girls are desperate to lose weight, but Jill was grinding her teeth wanting to bulk up—she’d felt the downside of being light way too many times. Too bad, the Dragon Elephant Technique boosts her strength and cell activity, but doesn’t add a single pound.
"No, I need a heavier weapon..." Jill looked around, and thanks to the moonlight and her sharp eyes, she actually spotted something. "Oh! Got it!"
Five minutes later, out in the factory yard, Jasper Xiao was in rough shape. Even Captain America’s Shield had a dent or two. The Alien Queen was just too strong for Jasper—even though he’d gotten the same perfect serum upgrade as Rogers, it only put him at about level four in the Dragon Elephant Technique. If not for that shield, he might not have lasted this long.
"Queen! How’re you holding up?" Jasper shouted, rolling around. "Are you hurt? Need a hand?"
"I need a hammer!" A classic Sichuan curse echoed through the night, and something huge and heavy came flying at the Alien Queen. She leaped back nimbly as the object crashed into the ground, burying itself nearly two feet into the concrete. Jasper’s jaw dropped—it was a massive steel beam!
The steel beam was like a railroad track—hollow, but thick as a bear hug and nearly three meters long. Just looking at it, you could tell it weighed at least 700 kilos. In the moonlit sky, Jill landed lightly on top of it, glanced at the battered Jasper, and teased, "Looks like you’re the one who needs help."
"I..." Jasper gave a wry smile. "I could use a hammer too."
"Huh? You trying to mess with me using Trump jokes now?" Jill raised an eyebrow.
"No, I really do need a hammer." Jasper pointed at a factory building. "My warhammer got knocked in there. Give me some cover—my Holy Light can be charged up for a stronger attack. The longer I charge, the harder I hit, as long as I don’t go over the limit!"
"Alright, go for it—I’ll cover you." Jill leapt down, grabbed the steel beam with both hands, and yanked it free with a crunch. Slinging the beam over her shoulder, she strode toward the Alien Queen without looking back. "Just hurry up—otherwise I’ll take this thing down all by myself."
