I Won’t Touch Anyone

Lily Tang’s words left Quentin Tang utterly stunned. He hadn’t expected his own daughter to say such a thing. “Lily, what are you talking about? If I don’t agree, you want to sever our father-daughter bond? I’m your father!” Quentin Tang roared, his voice full of anger.

“I just want you to see things clearly. It’s not that I’m being heartless. I’ve said everything I need to say—do as you see fit.” Lily Tang replied helplessly.

Quentin Tang glanced at Evan Chu, then said, “Fine, fine! Do as you wish. A grown daughter can’t be kept at home—so be it. The son-in-law contest ends here. Thank you all for coming. Let’s go inside and have some wine!”

Many in the crowd were deeply dissatisfied with the outcome, but none dared voice it. Evan Chu’s strength had been witnessed by all—no one in their right mind would provoke him.

Quite a few people left immediately, unwilling to stay since they hadn’t won the contest. At that moment, Evan Chu spoke up: “Sect Master Tang, thank you for making this possible. I’ll be taking Lily Tang straight to the Royal Capital for our wedding. If you’d like to come, you’re welcome—now that you’re my father-in-law, let me make things clear: in the Heavenly Dragon Empire, no one will dare provoke Tang Sect anymore.

Let me tell you something: in the Heavenly Dragon Empire, there’s no one who can match me. Even in the Azure Tide Ruins, you won’t find two who are my equal. My true identity is the Frostbane Sect Master—one of the Nine Great Sects in the Azure Tide Ruins. Allowing Lily Tang to marry me is the best choice you could make.”

Evan Chu’s words shocked everyone present. No one had expected this youth to have such a terrifying status. But after witnessing his strike just now, it seemed entirely possible—only a peerless powerhouse could unleash such devastating force.

Quentin Tang spoke up, “So you mean you’re taking Lily away? You’re not holding the wedding here?”

“That was my plan. But for Lily’s sake, I’ll complete the wedding rites before leaving. This is my betrothal gift to Lily—I hope you’ll make good use of it. It’ll be a huge help to Tang Sect’s future development.” Evan Chu pulled a storage belt from his storage ring and tossed it to Quentin Tang.

Inside that storage belt were ten million Starstones—a sum equal to or greater than all of Tang Sect’s assets combined. Quentin Tang didn’t rush to check it; he knew that anything Evan Chu gave was bound to be priceless.

Lily Tang glanced at Evan Chu and said, “Evan, let’s stay one more night before we leave. That way, I’ll have no regrets. You won’t refuse me, will you?”

“Lily, I came here with Rhea Yang—she’s in the crowd right now, and I’ve already married her. Since you asked, I’ll stay. Tomorrow, we’ll head straight to the Yang Clan and then back to the Great General’s Manor.” Evan Chu replied.

Hearing Evan Chu mention Rhea Yang, Lily Tang immediately searched the crowd and soon spotted her. Rhea Yang was smiling warmly at her, and then walked over.

“Lily Tang, congratulations on finally getting what you wished for. Now we’re truly sisters—we can really be together from now on.” Rhea Yang said with a smile.

“Alright, let’s go inside! Let’s take care of the formalities first—don’t you see how many people are still waiting for us?” Evan Chu urged.

Soon after, Evan Chu and Lily Tang bowed to heaven and earth in Tang Sect’s main hall, completing their wedding rites. Rhea Yang accompanied Lily Tang to the bridal chamber, where two beautiful maidservants waited—though Evan Chu was unaware of this, busy drinking with the male guests.

After several rounds of wine, most guests had already left. Quentin Tang found Evan Chu and led him into Tang Sect’s secret chamber. “Evan, it’s Tang Sect’s honor that Lily can be your wife. I know how strong you are, but I hope you’ll treat her well. Lily may seem fiery, but she’s truly kind-hearted. Please understand her if she acts out sometimes.” Quentin Tang said sincerely.

“Now that Lily Tang is my woman, I’ll respectfully call you father-in-law. Don’t worry, I’ll treat her well. Tang Sect may be a fairly strong family in the Heavenly Dragon Empire, but it lacks true peak experts. I have a Heaven-rank martial technique here—take a look sometime, it might help you.” Evan Chu said, handing over a martial arts manual.

“A Heaven-rank martial technique?” Quentin Tang exclaimed, clearly shocked by the gift.

“There are ten million Starstones in that storage belt I gave you. Use them to expand your clan’s power. If you run into trouble, go straight to the Great General’s Manor in the Royal Capital—my people will help you. Tomorrow I’ll take Lily Tang back, and before long I may return to the Azure Tide Ruins. We’ll visit again when we have time.” Evan Chu said.

By now, Quentin Tang was so overwhelmed he could barely speak. He’d never seen so many Starstones in his life—this was even more shocking than the Heaven-rank martial technique.

“Thank you, Evan. Lily really didn’t misjudge you. I believe she’ll have a good life by your side.” Quentin Tang said sincerely.

After a bit more small talk, Evan Chu left the secret chamber and returned to the bridal room—only to find four women waiting inside. A bead of metaphorical black lines instantly appeared on his forehead.

Seriously? Four women at once tonight? I’m not against this sort of thing, but doing that with two complete strangers is way too awkward. Evan Chu muttered inwardly.

“Oh, please! Those two girls are virgins—you’re acting all innocent when you’re actually getting a bargain. I’m starting to dislike you more and more.” Luna’s teasing voice finally echoed in Evan Chu’s mind.

“What do you mean, I’m getting a bargain? I’d feel guilty taking two girls’ innocence for no reason! I’m a good guy, you know—don’t make me out to be some kind of scoundrel.” Evan Chu protested.

“Heh, let’s see how much of a ‘good guy’ you really are tonight. I’m not sleeping—I’ll be watching to see exactly what you do.” Luna laughed mischievously.

“Hey, Big Sis Luna, you’re not serious, are you? This stuff really isn’t suitable for you to watch! The more you see, the more awkward you’ll feel. Just let it go, okay? I’m not touching anyone tonight—I’ll just sleep beside them and leave at dawn.” Evan Chu said, embarrassed.

Luna fell silent, and Evan Chu didn’t dare push her further. If he really ticked her off, he’d be the one to suffer. Just then, Rhea Yang laughed, “Evan, what are you standing there for? Hurry up and unveil your bride!”

Evan Chu finally snapped out of it, lifted Lily Tang’s red veil, and asked, “Are those two girls really supposed to serve me tonight?”

“Aren’t you happy? I knew you’d be satisfied. Those two girls have even studied bedchamber arts just for this—it’s a rare opportunity, you know.” Lily Tang teased.

“Can I not touch them? Actually, I’d rather not touch you either. I need to abstain for a few days—Lily, I appreciate your thoughtfulness, but I really can’t tonight.” Evan Chu said.
