Ghost Clan Doomsday Part Three

1/19/2026

Evan Chu was utterly stunned by the bizarre phenomenon unleashed by his strike. In that instant, the Frostbane Sword's sword-qi transformed into a colossal dragon phantom, which lunged forward and devoured the Ghost Clan Grand Elder whole. Before anyone could react, the Grand Elder's body was shredded into fragments, scattered in the blink of an eye.

Such terrifying attack power—Evan had never seen anything like it in his life. Not even when he unleashed the Unicorn Arm could he guarantee this level of destruction. The strength that erupted from his rage was truly monstrous, and he knew it had to be connected to the Dragon Scale that had appeared on his arm.

The dragon phantom didn’t vanish—it kept attacking the remaining Ghost Clan powerhouses. Everything happened so fast that even these top experts had no time to react. In a single instant, all of them were struck by the dragon’s fury, their bodies shattered to pieces almost simultaneously. Then the phantom faded, morphing back into the Frostbane Sword, which spun once in midair before flying straight back into Evan’s hand.

One move! Just one move had wiped out all these experts. Evan couldn’t have imagined it even in his wildest dreams—especially since among them was a Fifth-Layer Venerable. He knew he’d only been forced to act under extreme circumstances, but even so, this attack was far beyond anything he could normally unleash. There were only two possibilities: either the Dragon Scale had burned through more than half of his Chaos Dragon Force in an instant...

...or the Frostbane Sword itself was the reason. This was the first time Evan had completely lost control of the Frostbane Sword—it had actually flown out of his grip and acted on its own. Just thinking about it felt bizarre. At that moment, the Dragon Scale on his arm faded away, and a wave of weakness washed over him, almost identical to the backlash after using Unicorn Arm.

“Luna, do you know what just happened? Why did the Frostbane Sword go out of control? How could that attack be so overwhelmingly powerful—was it the true force of Star-Cleave, or something even greater?” Evan demanded, his voice urgent.

“Evan, I believe it’s because your bloodline power awakened again—this time triggered by your rage. Even a tiny increment of that primordial bloodline unleashes strength far beyond your imagination. Right now, I can’t fully explain it, but once you achieve complete awakening, you’ll understand everything,” Luna replied calmly.

Bloodline awakening, huh? Maybe that’s it. Otherwise, the Dragon Scale wouldn’t have appeared. If only I could fully awaken this power—then I’d never have to fear the Nether Monarch, Ghost King, or any so-called apex expert in the Netherworld. I could slay them all with ease. Evan clenched his fists, eyes burning with hope.

“Your physique is unlike anyone else’s, so awakening your bloodline power is especially hard. Right now, only one third of your bloodline remains unawakened—and it’s the most refined part. Even the smallest awakening brings massive power, as you’ve just experienced. As for why the Frostbane Sword acted on its own, it may be because it’s a true divine weapon,” Luna explained.

“The power of that sword strike was simply too overwhelming—maybe you just couldn’t control it. That’s why the Frostbane Sword intervened. Don’t dwell on it now. You need to focus on the real problem: the Beast King is almost here, and you must kill both him and the Ghost King. If the Ghost King, Beast King, Nether Monarch, or Zander Xiang ever unite, you and the Shade Lord will be left with nowhere to stand in the Netherworld,” Luna warned, her tone sharp.
