The pills in the second bottle were black, with an equally strong medicinal fragrance. But judging by their appearance, they almost looked poisonous. "Sister Selena, do you recognize these pills?"
Selena Yale took the bottle, glanced at it, and shook her head. "No, I don't recognize them. But judging by the rich medicinal scent, these are probably very high-grade pills. They're definitely not ordinary."
At that moment, the Sword Spirit spoke: "Evan, these are seventh-rank pills as well. They're called Onyx Vitality Pills, and they're used to restore vital energy. For recovering Stellar Power, they're extremely effective—taking one can cut your recovery time by more than half. In terms of value, they're even better than the Bloodspirit Pellets in the red bottle. You've really struck gold here, so don't be ungrateful."
Evan Chu was instantly overjoyed. The Bloodspirit Pellets weren't much use to him, but the Onyx Vitality Pills were incredibly valuable. His Chaos Dragon Force always consumed a huge amount of energy, so being able to save time meant saving Starstones as well. Getting his hands on such a heaven-defying item made this trip more than worth it.
He then checked the number of Onyx Vitality Pills in the bottle and found over twenty. Without hesitation, he turned to Selena Yale and said, "Sister Selena, these pills are called Onyx Vitality Pills. Taking one can cut your Stellar Power recovery time in half—they're extremely rare."
After speaking, he handed her three pills. Then he poured out three Bloodspirit Pellets and said, "These are Bloodspirit Pellets, top-tier healing medicine. As long as you're not dead, there's still a chance to recover. Who would've thought Lord Frostbane left behind such heaven-defying pills? Our luck is off the charts."
Selena Yale looked at Evan Chu, full of suspicion. "How do you know the names and effects of these pills? Weren't you just asking me?"
Of course, Evan Chu wasn't about to reveal the Sword Spirit's existence—she was his greatest trump card. So he just laughed and said, "I was just testing you. Your man is omniscient, didn't you notice?"
"You little rascal, always saying sweet things. But since these pills are so powerful, I'd be a fool not to take them. I hope you're not lying to me." Selena Yale put the pills straight into her storage ring.
"Let's go. There's one last secret chamber—this might be the greatest treasure Lord Frostbane left for Frostbane Sect. Who knows, maybe you'll even break through to Fourth-Layer Saint Martial Realm right here!" Evan Chu grinned.
After leaving the so-called Pill Vault, Evan Chu and Selena Yale headed straight for the last secret chamber. Like before, there was a stone door, but this time Evan didn't manage to push it open. He tried several times, but it wouldn't budge.
"Why is this door so tight? Looks like there's some kind of mechanism. We need to find the button before we can get in," Evan Chu said.
The two of them carefully examined the stone wall, testing every protrusion with their hands to see if anything would open. But after searching for ages, they still couldn't find anything—the stone door didn't move an inch.
"Evan, maybe we just can't get into this chamber. There aren't any buttons or mechanisms at all. I say we just try attacking the stone door—maybe we can break it down and get inside that way," Selena Yale suggested.
Evan Chu examined the stone door and realized it was made from the same stone found inside the spatial black hole—extremely hard and tough. Smashing it would be nearly impossible, so he laughed and said, "That's actually a good idea, Sister Selena. Why don't you give it a try first?"
"You're stronger than me—if anyone's going to try, it should be you. Why are you asking me? Hard labor is a man's job, don't you think?" Selena Yale shot Evan a look.
Evan hadn't expected Selena to dodge the task so easily. Just as he was feeling awkward, the Sword Spirit's voice sounded in his mind: "Evan, if you smash this stone door, all the Stellar Power inside will leak out and the concentration will drop. You should take a closer look at the door—try using your Chaos Dragon Force."
After hearing this, Evan Chu examined the stone door again, but still didn't notice anything unusual. Still, the Sword Spirit's advice had always been reliable, so he quickly channeled his Chaos Dragon Force into his palm and slowly pressed it against the stone door.
At first, nothing happened when Evan placed his palm on the door. But after a few breaths, he suddenly realized his Chaos Dragon Force was weakening—the stone door was absorbing his energy! The discovery shocked him.
Selena Yale, unaware of Evan's situation, found his motionless stance strange. Just as she was about to ask what was going on, Evan said, "This door is definitely weird. Try channeling your Stellar Power into it, Sister Selena—you'll see what I mean."
Half skeptical, Selena Yale channeled Stellar Power into her palm and pressed it against the stone door, just like Evan Chu had done. After a few breaths, she really did feel a suction force slowly draining the Stellar Power from her hand.
Selena Yale glanced at Evan Chu in confusion and asked, "Evan, how did you know the door would do this? Why didn't you try it earlier—did someone tip you off?"
"Of course! Didn't you tell me yourself? You said to attack the stone door, but it's made of incredibly tough stone. So I thought I'd see how Stellar Power would react—and sure enough, there was something strange going on," Evan Chu chuckled.
"Maybe the door only opens after absorbing enough Stellar Power. Why not try using Starstones? Lots of mechanisms require Starstones to activate. Since there's no slot, maybe it can just absorb the energy straight from the Starstones," Selena Yale suggested.
As a Pavilion Master, Selena's knowledge of these things far surpassed Evan Chu's. He found her reasoning convincing, so he immediately took out a supreme-grade Starstone from his storage ring and pressed it to the door.
Sure enough, the stone door began absorbing the Stellar Power from the supreme-grade Starstone at a rapid pace—just as fast as Evan could absorb it himself. Seeing this, Evan's mood instantly improved, and he quickly took out several more Starstones.

He handed two Starstones to Selena Yale and said, "Let's let the door absorb these together. Maybe once it's done, it'll finally open."
Soon, the supreme-grade Starstones in their hands shrank to half their original size. Just then, the stone door began to change—a faint glow appeared, and a palm-sized button emerged from the surface.
"Haha, we did it! Who would've thought the mechanism would be this strange—Lord Frostbane really knew how to design things!" Evan Chu laughed.
