Revealing the Truth

A look of surprise flashed across the Black Qilin's face. After glancing at Evan Lin, he said, "Young Master, that red worm is an extremely rare Divine-Blood Parasite. I once heard my master mention it—it's a spirit parasite formed from bloodline power and possesses incomparably strong energy."

"Is this Divine-Blood Parasite harmful to the body? Otherwise, why would Roxanne Lin be acting this way? She's like a completely different person now." Evan Lin asked anxiously, hoping the Black Qilin could offer a solution.

"The chance of a Divine-Blood Parasite appearing is one in ten thousand. It only shows up in the most rare and powerful bloodlines. The parasite has both advantages and disadvantages—if the host can refine it, their strength will multiply several times over. But if the parasite takes control, the host will become like a walking corpse."

At that point, the host won't listen to anyone, and their actions will become extremely erratic. With Roxanne Lin showing these signs, it's very likely she's already being influenced by the Divine-Blood Parasite. But since she still has her own will, there's a chance she can refine and suppress it," the Black Qilin said.

The more Evan Lin heard, the more alarmed he became. If Roxanne Lin was truly controlled by the Divine-Blood Parasite, the consequences would be unimaginable. Now that she's about to ascend to the God Realm, who knows what kind of trouble she'll cause.

"Old Black, is there any way we can help her refine the Divine-Blood Parasite? We can't just let things go on like this." Evan Lin asked worriedly.

"Only she herself can do it—we're powerless to help. The Divine-Blood Parasite's energy and defense are incredibly strong. You can tell Roxanne Lin the truth when she's lucid, so she knows what she's facing and might find a way to control it. After all, she has Nirvana Fire; maybe she can temporarily imprison the parasite when she's clear-headed," said the Black Qilin.

After hearing this, Evan Lin said nothing more and quickly rushed to Roxanne Lin's room. He pushed open the door and saw Roxanne Lin sitting by the bed, lost in thought. She barely reacted when Evan entered.

"Roxy, are you alright? Please don't scare me!" Evan Lin hurried to her side and said.

Roxanne Lin glanced at Evan Lin and said coldly, "Evan Lin, you're not welcome here. Why did you come? What is there left for us to say?"

Every word stabbed at Evan Lin's heart, but he knew this wasn't Roxanne Lin's true intention. "Roxy, you've suffered so much. I promise I'll find a way to heal you. Do you realize how bad your situation is right now?"

Roxanne Lin sneered, "I'm perfectly fine now. My cultivation has reached late Immortal Emperor and I can ascend at any time. If anything's 'bad,' it's that you took my virginity and ruined my perfect body. How do you still have the nerve to show up in front of me? I wish I could kill you. You'd better get out right now, or don't blame me for turning ruthless." Her face twisted in anger.

She flipped her attitude faster than flipping a page, leaving Evan Lin stunned. "Roxy, there's a Divine-Blood Parasite in your mind. It's gradually taking over your thoughts, making you domineering and violent. You used to be gentle and elegant, but now you're completely different."

"Is that so? Even if there is a Divine-Blood Parasite, it's my own business and has nothing to do with you. Stop meddling in my affairs. I don't want to see you. Get out!" Ruoxi stood up from the bed, shouting angrily.

Evan Lin didn't leave immediately. Instead, he stepped back a few paces, recalling that during their battle atop the mountain, Ruoxi had regained clarity in the midst of fierce fighting. That meant only intense battle could snap her out of it—but why, he wasn't sure. His only guess was that the Divine-Blood Parasite feared Yin-Yang Qi or some kind of special energy released during their union.

Evan decided to make Ruoxi clear-headed again, then tell her about the situation in her body. Maybe, when she's lucid, she can use her Natal Fire to temporarily imprison the Divine-Blood Parasite.

In a flash, Evan Lin appeared right in front of Ruoxi and pulled her into his arms. The sudden move startled her. "You want me to leave? You don't have the right. You're my woman—having you is only natural. Today, I'm going to love you properly again. I'm very interested in your body."

"Let go of me! If you keep this up, I'll never talk to you again, and I won't ever set foot in your Frostbane Imperial Palace. Do as you wish!" Ruoxi shouted, struggling in his arms.

Evan Lin was dumbfounded. Her words were so harsh that he didn't know how to respond. If she really meant it, things would get complicated. But he quickly realized this was the Divine-Blood Parasite controlling her—these weren't her true feelings.

"Trying to scare me? Even if you leave, just being able to have you again is worth it. Come on, let me show you your husband's strength!" Evan Lin laughed, then started stripping Ruoxi's clothes.

At this moment, Roxanne Lin didn't dare to resist too much—maybe she was afraid of alerting others. Soon, Evan Lin stripped her completely, and her whole body trembled slightly.

Evan Lin quickly undressed himself as well. Without any foreplay, he entered Roxanne Lin's body, and another sharp cry of pain escaped her lips.

Evan Lin moved wildly from the start, making the whole bed shake and creak. At first, Roxanne Lin struggled desperately, but as time passed, pleasure gradually replaced the pain, and she began to moan softly.

"Linfeng, what are you doing? It's the middle of the day—aren't you afraid the other sisters will laugh at us? Stop it. Why not wait until tonight?" Roxy suddenly spoke up.

Evan Lin was stunned. He hadn't expected Roxy to speak at this moment, so he quickly said, "Roxy, you're in huge trouble. There's a Divine-Blood Parasite in your mind, and it's hurting your body. You're like two different people—your personality has completely changed."

"Is that really true? How is that possible? I don't feel anything at all!" Roxy asked in surprise.

Evan Lin worried that if he stopped, Roxy would revert to her other personality, so he quickly told her about all her recent changes and explained how to imprison the Divine-Blood Parasite.

While speaking, Evan Lin checked the Divine-Blood Parasite with his divine sense and found its eyes tightly shut, just as he'd expected.

"Linfeng, I don't know if what you're saying is true or not—it's so unbelievable, it's hard to accept. But I trust you. The only problem is, I can't locate the Divine-Blood Parasite at all; it seems to be able to perfectly hide itself." Roxy said...
