I Observe the Heavenly Signs and See Their Doomed Fate
Gavin Luo burst out laughing, his voice ringing loud and clear.
In that instant, every gaze in the crowd locked onto Evan Lin.
Those who had been standing a bit too close to Evan quickly edged away, terrified of getting caught up in whatever was about to happen.
"Either go down there and fight them, or hurry up and run!"
Someone, watching Evan still stepping through the snow in place, couldn’t help but yell out.
"Run? How's he supposed to run? Yesterday he pointed at Lance Le’s nose and called him impotent—and then, like magic, it actually came true! Even if it wasn’t his fault, he’s pissed Lance off for good now!"
"There’s a whole mob down there. He’s just some out-of-town kid—he thinks he can escape?"
Someone nearby snorted with laughter.
More people looked at Evan, their faces showing pity.
In everyone’s eyes, Evan—standing all alone—walked a few steps up to the top of the slope, stopping by a bench.
