Chapter 409: That's All

Inside the barracks, Slaughter lay before Leon, and a row of Wyvern King Fangs was arranged on the ground. Back at the Dragonbane Mercenary Corps camp, Leon had already planned to embed the Wyvern King Fangs into Slaughter, but he kept getting interrupted.

Slaughter was originally custom-forged for Hubert, the Dragonblood Orc, with ten layers of alchemical gravity arrays stacked within. Weighing a thousand pounds, only someone with monstrous strength and the blood of three Golden Dragons—like Hubert—could wield such a weapon.

Now that Hubert, the Dragonblood Orc, had become a level-six Swordmaster, it seemed he needed an even stronger weapon...

Embedding the Wyvern King Fangs would grant Slaughter two special attributes: armor-piercing and corrosion. At that point, Slaughter's power would climb several levels.

But Leon ran into trouble...

That's right, trouble...

Previously, Leon used infinitely stacked alchemical arrays and tenfold refined mithril to forge Slaughter. This thousand-pound sentient magic weapon was tailor-made for Hubert. Back then, Leon never imagined he'd soon acquire such a rare magical material as the Wyvern King Fangs.

As everyone knows, when crafting magic weapons, the stronger the magical material, the more it should be used as the core. That's an iron law of weapon-making. Breaking it inevitably affects the weapon's structural balance. Slaughter is a prime example: Wyvern King Fangs are rare magical materials from a level thirty-five beast—worthy of being a core for any sentient magic weapon.

But on Slaughter, they could only serve as auxiliaries. Their sole purpose: to grant Slaughter armor-piercing and corrosion attributes...
