Hugh Hu wore a smile, but in his eyes there was a cold, indifferent chill.
Everyone at the table felt the atmosphere suddenly tense up, making things a bit awkward.
But Neil Kong, Sharon Chen, and their group looked especially excited.
"What I mean is, could I ask you all to switch seats? I'll have the kitchen prepare an identical lunch for you," Henry Zhang said with a polite smile.
But before he even finished speaking, Hugh Hu suddenly stood up, grabbed his teacup, and smashed it straight at Henry Zhang's head without hesitation.
Bang!
Henry Zhang was caught off guard. The teacup hit his head, knocking him off balance and sending him crashing to the floor.
"What are you doing!" Yolanda Fang jumped in shock when she saw Hugh Hu attack.
Lucy Lu and Joy Zheng's faces both changed.
"Nothing much. Someone was interrupting my meal, so I just swatted away a buzzing fly. Hope I didn't scare you." Hugh Hu smiled faintly.
Henry Zhang, clutching his head on the floor, glared furiously. "This is White Dragon Mountain Resort! It's not a place for you to cause trouble!"
"So what if it's White Dragon Mountain Resort? If you piss me off, I'll smash up this whole place!" Hugh Hu sneered coldly.
"Hahaha, Brother Hugh is still the same as ever—so straightforward!" Zack Guang sat there, delighted by the sight of Henry Zhang getting smacked to the floor.
"Of course. Not just in Seacrest, even in Jinnan, hardly anyone dares talk to Brother Hugh like that. Hey, you on the floor—if you’re not happy, go get your boss." The tall woman, about 1.72 meters, scoffed.
The other woman beside her didn’t even spare Henry a glance.
They were already used to Hugh Hu’s antics.
Seeing this, Xiao Yun quickly forced a smile and said, "Hey now, we're all just here for a meal. Our classmate Hugh is really something, isn't he?"
"Seriously, Joy Zheng and Lucy Lu, you two really should keep an eye on the kids you brought. Haven't you taught them any manners?"
"Exactly. Hugh here is a guest from afar. Sitting at the same table and sharing a meal is fate—it's all about fate!" Cui Xue immediately echoed.
"Even our class leader Kong rarely gets a chance to eat with Hugh. Running into him today is just our incredible luck!" Several others chimed in as well.
They finally understood what was going on.
This Hugh Hu was clearly the real deal—backed by serious connections, tough enough to act however he wanted here.
That kind of arrogance—threatening to smash up White Dragon Mountain Resort—wasn’t something just anyone could pull off.
Seeing everyone at the table siding with Hugh Hu, Lucy Lu and her group looked even more upset.
"Forget it, I'm done eating. Let's go take a break."
Yolanda Fang tossed her chopsticks aside and tried to pull Lynn Chen away, but Hugh Hu grabbed her chair, keeping her from getting up.
"I really like your fiery attitude. No need to rush off—let's get to know each other. I'm Hugh Hu." He looked at Yolanda, eyes narrowing.
"Get lost! I'm the very picture of gentle and virtuous—you're the fiery one, your whole family is!" Yolanda snapped back, making Hugh raise an eyebrow.
Henry Zhang finally recovered and climbed up from the floor.
"You, head waiter, this isn’t your business anymore. Get lost." Neil Kong was still angry that Henry hadn’t taken his side, and his tone dripped with contempt.
Henry Zhang grabbed his walkie-talkie and barked, "Security! Second floor, there's trouble up here—everyone get to the second floor now! Anyone who shows up late can pack their bags and get lost tomorrow!"
He yelled, watching Hugh Hu harass Yolanda and the others, his heart pounding in his chest.
If Evan Lin saw this and got really mad, Henry would almost certainly be fired on the spot.
What Henry really feared were Summer Mu and Charles Summer behind Evan. Summer Mu had called twice to stress that no matter what happened, Evan's interests came first!
Summer Mu had emphasized this twice. Even when heavyweight guests came to White Dragon Mountain for vacations before, she’d never said anything like that.
It was clear just how high Evan ranked in Summer Mu’s mind—way out of Henry’s league to mess with.
As for Hugh Hu, Henry knew he couldn’t afford to provoke him either. But sometimes you have to make a call. After getting his head smashed in, bleeding from his forehead, Henry called for backup—whatever happened, he had to settle this before Evan came back.
"Calling in reinforcements, huh?" Hugh Hu turned and looked at Henry.
Neil Kong and Sharon Chen sneered, "Little head waiter, do you even know what you’re doing? You’re digging your own grave!"
"If anything happens to Brother Hugh at your White Dragon Mountain Resort, your whole place will be shut down in days. What will you be so smug about then?" Zack Guang scoffed.
The two girls who came with Hugh Hu were all smiles, not the least bit worried. Instead, they glanced at Zack Guang, who was calmly sipping tea nearby, and giggled, "Zack, it's been ages since we saw you in action. We really miss it!"
"Yeah, I still remember when you wrecked that arrogant sanda champion with a single punch. That was so cool!"
The two girls kept chatting, and everyone nearby shot Zack Guang a different look.
Henry Zhang's face darkened.
Zack Guang gave a wry smile. "That was all because Hugh told me to. Seriously, you girls should forget about it already."
After speaking, he picked up the teapot and poured himself another cup of tea.
Outside the door, the sound of chaotic footsteps echoed.
A swarm of security guards in black uniforms, wielding rubber batons, stormed up to the second floor—over fifty men, looking even tougher than when Evan Lin visited last time.
Yolanda Fang and Lynn Chen were delighted to see so many people arrive, while Lucy Lu and Joy Zheng frowned.
Hugh Hu looked amused and glanced at Henry Zhang. "So these are your shrimp soldiers and crab generals? Anyone else coming? Looks like you're a bit short-handed."
Henry didn’t respond, his voice icy: "I’ll give you a choice—either stand up right now and stop disturbing these VIP guests, and I’ll have the kitchen prepare you the same meal..."
"Or my men will personally help you get up!"
