Heavenly Dragon Academy

White Tiger City wasn’t far from Heavenly Dragon Academy. Before noon, the three of them had already arrived at the foot of the academy mountain.

The three chatted and laughed along the way. At some point, both girls removed their veils, causing many passersby to gasp in surprise.

When Lily Tang took off her veil, Evan Chu was stunned—this girl’s looks were actually no less than Roxanne Lin’s.

Her delicate oval face looked soft enough to break with a touch, with big, bright eyes that seemed to speak, and a perfectly shaped cherry mouth that was utterly enchanting.

If Roxanne Lin was a regal peony, Jenny Sima a graceful peony or tree-peony, then Lily Tang was a rose—covered in thorns, ready to prick anyone who got careless.

The three quickly reached the foot of the mountain. Lily Tang couldn’t hold back and asked, “Roxanne Lin, you’re so pretty—why do you wear a veil? And what’s your relationship with Evan Chu, you two seem so close?”

Roxanne Lin was stunned—she hadn’t expected that question. “Weren’t you wearing a veil the whole way too? Why’s that? Afraid your beauty will get you in trouble?”

“Not at all! You think I want to? I’m about to go crazy pretending. One of my attendants is a spy from the clan—I’m famous in the Tang Family for being a proper lady. If anyone finds out I’m not, my reputation’s ruined.”

“What the—! You call yourself a lady? I really admire you! Were you always like this in the clan? Didn’t you suffocate?”

Evan Chu was speechless. Someone so fiery pretending to be a proper lady—talk about mission impossible.

White Tiger City wasn't far from Heavenly Dragon Academy. Before noon, the three had already arrived at the foot of the academy mountain.

The three chatted and laughed along the way. At some point, both girls removed their veils, causing many passersby to gasp in surprise.

When Lily Tang took off her veil, Evan Chu was stunned—this girl’s looks were actually no less than Roxanne Lin’s.

Her delicate oval face seemed soft enough to break with a touch, with big, bright eyes that looked almost alive, and a perfectly shaped cherry mouth that was utterly enchanting.

No kidding—I hate being tied down. If it weren’t for a family martial skill, I wouldn’t bother.

But you already let it slip yesterday—aren’t you afraid they’ll rat you out? Roxanne Lin thought Lily Tang’s story didn’t quite add up and couldn’t help asking.

It’s fine—once in a while they won’t say anything. Lots of people in the clan know my temper, but outsiders don’t. I rarely go out.

A proper young lady turning into a mother tyrannosaurus—unbelievable! Evan Chu looked at Lily Tang as if she were some kind of monster.

Who’re you calling a mother tyrannosaurus? Watch your mouth or I’ll smack you!

Hahaha! Just look at her—a gorgeous beauty, but listen to that mouth! So rough. It’s just not right! Evan Chu laughed out loud.

Roxanne Lin smiled, “Enough, let’s stop messing around. We’ve been the center of attention this whole way—let’s get moving before something happens.”

She noticed many of the eyes on her were full of malice, which made her uneasy.

From a distance, Evan Chu could see the massive mountain gate at the foot of the peak, with “Heavenly Dragon Academy” inscribed above.

Each character was written with powerful force, radiating an awe-inspiring aura that made people want to bow in reverence.

Whoever wrote those characters must be a true expert—being able to blend martial skill into calligraphy is impressive.

Lily Tang saw Evan Chu staring at the gate and said, “Evan Chu, don’t stare at the gate—if your willpower isn’t strong enough, you could get hurt.”

A top expert from Heavenly Dragon Academy wrote those four characters. They say there’s a profound martial skill hidden in them, but only someone with true fate can obtain it.

Staring recklessly can damage your soul, and it’s easy to lose control when training.

Seriously? Who’d dare look then? Losing control could be dangerous. Evan Chu found it hard to believe.

Roxanne Lin had thought the characters were grand and imposing, but after Lily Tang’s warning, she didn’t dare look either.

Lily, who told you that? You seem to know a lot about Heavenly Dragon Academy. Roxanne Lin asked.

My brother told me—he’s at Heavenly Dragon Academy too, but he’s about to graduate. Lily Tang answered cheerfully.

Evan Chu was still thinking about the characters, feeling like he’d glimpsed something. He asked, “Has anyone ever learned the martial skill hidden in them?”

Heh, if it’s your fate, you won’t be in danger. Just don’t stare at the characters for too long.

If it’s your fate, you’ll see something beyond the words. If not, they’re just characters. Got it? Let’s head up the mountain!

A staircase paved with black obsidian led from the foot of the mountain to the summit at Heavenly Dragon Academy.

Obsidian is a rare stone—extremely hard. With the right materials, it can be forged into excellent weapons.

Though many were heading to Heavenly Dragon Academy, the staircase wasn’t crowded—everyone walked in order.

Evan Chu looked at the stone steps stretching from the foot to the summit and couldn’t help but marvel. What a massive project—how much money and resources did it take? He gained new respect for Heavenly Dragon Academy.

Some people were already out of breath—that’s what happens if you don’t train, or never learned martial skills. Usually, those types were from wealthy families.

Evan Chu and his companions didn’t feel tired at all—five miles was nothing for them. As they joked, a vast, imposing building appeared ahead.

At the summit, Evan Chu was amazed at the sheer size—bigger than Flowing Cloud City itself. A giant training plaza could hold tens of thousands without feeling crowded.

Countless buildings sprawled across the area, but one towered above the rest, with a massive plaque inscribed “Heavenly Dragon Hall”—the writing was bold and magnificent.
